Pretty much I will list 10 things I hate and then 10 things that I love.
Guess which list I’m going to go with first!…10 things I…
- My puppy…I just LOVE her, sometimes you just connect with an animal
- The live web feed that I watch, it’s like a drug for me! It always makes me feel better…Except when a kill happens!lol
- I love my family
- I love Nacho Cheese Dorito chips and Lasagne!
- I love when the temperature in the shower is just right during Winter.
- Blogging! =P Seriously though, it’s been such a freeing experience!
- My friends, family and boyfriend, hehe
- Writing just in general, I’ve started to get back into that recently.
- Music…Especially when I can find the music that fits my mood exactly.
- Open fire places…Lovely…Maybe not so much during Summer though, lol
Now for 10 things I hate…
- People who lie…and THEN wont up to own up to it, even with overwhelming evidence in their face!
- Guys who call themselves a “good guy” by doing something jerky and then calling me a crazy bitch because I refuse to call them a “good guy”
- People who gossip behind your back and wont own up to it.
- This isn’t a “hate thing” but it annoys me crazy! People who make the comment “Who Cares”…Get off the article!
- Food posing!
- Not being able to figure out why I’ve suddenly gotten sick lately!
- That the place I’ve been volunteering at for 3yrs wont give me an actual job, but my classmates are getting jobs after being there for two weeks and no one will tell me what the problem is!
- I hate…Hate!
- Anyone who hurts anyone I care about.
- People who hurt animals and children! That’s a whole different kind of wrong!
Lovely post!
Your hate’s the same as I feel too!

Totally. Haha! Whenever I see a comment like that I want to say something like, “You took the time to read the article and then respond to it, so obviously the answer to your question is you,” but I can never care enough to issue any kind of response.
“7. That the place I’ve been volunteering at for 3yrs wont give me an actual job, but my classmates are getting jobs after being there for two weeks and no one will tell me what the problem is!”
I volunteered at a library for two years. Throughout the second year, they kept telling me that I was next in line to fill an opening that came up. But HR (human resources) dragged their feet for so long, hiring new people at other positions (not the one I was up for), I felt like they were taking advantage of the fact that they had a volunteer (me) basically doing the job for free. So I stopped volunteering. A few months later, they finally posted the position on the website. I applied and didn’t get an interview (Can you believe that? Two years volunteering and they wouldn’t even talk to me.). The next year, I applied for the position when it was open again and they sent me an email saying that they had decided to not hire anyone for that position. The next year (a couple of months ago), I applied again and once again they wouldn’t even give me an interview. Not even a sham interview out of respect. Nothing.
Long story… okay, this wasn’t short, but anyway, if you’ve been there for three years and they can’t see your worth to them to the point of paying you for the work you’re doing (or maybe they’re just fine with letting you work for free), then maybe it’s not the right place for you and it’s just time to move on. Maybe find a job somewhere else or find a new place to volunteer. But after three years, if other people are being hired over you, then it’s likely that they’re not going to hire you for whatever reason that they won’t tell you.
By the way, I still regularly visit the library that won’t hire me. I love the people there, who I worked with for those two years. It’s only HR that’s been cruel to me. Also, I suck their free Wi-Fi for all it’s worth. *evil grin*

I’ve been thinking about changing places of where I volunteer and then this morning, I get an email telling me that there were two internal vacancies that I could apply for now, lol…I think that I made such a noise about it, they’re finally listening…But I’m still going to start looking somewhere else.

Nice. I hope you can get one of those vacancies. But if you don’t, then that would be a good sign that it’s time to move on. Respectfully, though. You don’t want to burn any bridges. 🙂
