…That I actually really love that shops across around Australia are already selling hot cross buns?
Most random of thoughts I had last night while dinner was being made. There’s this particular meal I don’t really enjoy. By “not enjoying” I mean I just think the meal taste kind of bland. Just can’t seem to get the same taste of when we go out and eat stir fry.
However, whenever when we cook the food it has this incredible amazing smell that makes me so hungry.
Does anyone else have a food like that? Or a vice a versa, where it smells horrible but tastes amazing?
Oh wow! How close to the end are we!
Favorite thing to photograph? Write? Or Cook?
If you took my phone you would think I am totally a crazy “Dog” lady … I love taking photos of my “puppy” (she is like 9 years old)…She is just the cutest!
I mean just look at that face!
Did you like swinging as a child? Do you still get excited when you see a swing?
I did love swinging in swings as child, it was the closest to a thrill that I was willingly to get. Especially when you get to that really high point before you go spinning around.
What has surprised you about blogging?
Honestly how I am still doing it!lol … I’ve kept journals and diaries and I usually am good for a month, and then it just stops. I actually feel really bad if I go a couple of days without making a post and then my head goes into overdrive and tries to scramble to think of something to write about.
List at least five favorite desserts.
- Jelly, or pretty much anything with jelly in it.
I bet that you didn’t see this one coming! I can smell the lasagne cooking throughout the house…Lasagne is probably my most favourite food group =D I know it’s not a “literary” quote so to speak…But I have been rushed off my feet at work all week and this is about as much as my mind can muster right now….And it’s only Wednesday!
If you’re wondering why it seems strange to be posting about food in the morning, because of the time difference it is actually dinner time here in Australia.
It’s that time of the year where you suddenly your skinny jeans just don’t fit and you can just see that little tiny muffin top appearing and you have two choices eat that little bit of warm fudge or workout! Sometimes our best comfort foods are those that are really weird.
Take, for example, my favourite comfort Winter food that I only discovered a couple of years ago. I was so hungry and we didn’t have much to eat at the time (always the way two days before pay day). I had two options left for lunch, one was macaroni and cheese and two minute noodles. So I decided to put them together and it was one of the best things I have ever tasted! It was so good!
Do any of you have any lovely Winter food combinations or just any yummy Winter foods?!
Who can pass up a chance to have a good hot chocolate! The site below has butterscotch hot chocolate and chilli hot chocolate (which I have only tried once below and it was spicy!).
How have I NEVER talked about the magic that is Chinese food! Whether you are into Panda Express (which I loved when I was in Arizona) or your local small business family run restaurant, I think that Chinese and Asian food may be the one of the most magical foods on the planet! Just writing this is making me literally crave it.
It tastes amazing when you crave it, when you don’t crave it and then start craving it when you start to eat it. To have it though when you have a massive hangover…Oh, it makes what I feel magically go away, every-time! I think that I maybe a little bit addicted to it to be honest.
