Before you start listening to the whole thing, it’s about 10 seconds of each song. So prepared to be happy, and then 10 seconds later, it’s taken away from you again…JUST LIKE 2020!
Don’t you just love it when you stumble across a really fantastic YouTube channel?! Alex Meyers has to be up there. What his channel basically is, broken down. He re-watches mainly old classic tv shows or really popular mainstream current shows and movies. Mostly his titles are “Movie/Show name insert…Doesn’t make any sense”. And he usually right. Even saying that so he still really enjoys, pretty much, everything he watches. His point of view of though, is usually pretty spot on.

Taylor Swift goes after twitter haters and those who hate the LGBTQ community. Her song writing is so clever you need to listen to it a couple of times to get what she is singing about. This video is using a colorful palate to get its point across.
For those wondering at home, Beyonce did not invent the pool party…Lying on a big floatie “video”. Even the caravan scene, Beyonce wasn’t the first. I love them both…but you need to calm down, lol
So I heard one song this week and all these memories came flooding back. Then I don’t know if you know, but then on the side of YouTube playlists, all the songs that relate to that song were on there too.
So I’ve posted a few songs/videos that even now it brings back memories and feelings and maybe you’ll feel something too ❤
Nickelback – Far Away (They were my always go to group mid to late 00’s)…I was in a long distance relationship ❤ We are still friends ❤
Hinder – Better Than Me (Although hoping they weren’t doing crack. I always hoped that at least one of my ex’s felt like this…I doubt it,lol…But I had always hoped, lol)
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus – Your Guardian Angel
Michelle Branch – Goodbye to you – This one used to kill me. It was my LDR had finally broken up and I was being hated on by these two girls … and the boys liked them better than me…This song killed me because I knew it was true. I’ve played it with every single break up, including some old friends from a few years ago. When I knew in my heart the friendships were over…NOT…I repeat … NOT the “mean girls”.
Dixie Chicks – Not Ready to Make Nice…Oh my goodness…This song = an awesome … F^ck Yeah! and F^ck of Haters!
Jewel – Hands – Mainly, my hands are tiny…Seriously small, lol…But I also love the message behind, about no matter how small your hands are…Reach out.
Evanescence – My Immortal … I mean, if you didn’t like the song and this band…Were you truly into 90’s music?
Kelly Clarkson – Because of You
Hilary Duff – Come Clean…For the longest time I didn’t realise this song was a opening credit for a very popular 00’s show! I just loved it.
Kelly Clarkson – Breakaway … This was just me…and a good song to end on…Still have this song on my iPod,lol
It’s my birthday month and so far its been pretty bleh, but it is getting better…So I want to do something that’ll make me happy. Some of these songs are covers, but I enjoy them just as much, if not more than the original.
The Tenors – Who Wants to Live Forever ft Lindsey Stirling
Backstreet Boys – Don’t go breaking my heart ( Showing how it’s done!…Still!)
Delta Goodrem ft Gizzle – Enough
*Guess who forgot February finished on the 28th*
Day 27 – A song that breaks your heart: Linkin Park – Numb – I have always loved this song and could totally relate to it, but now I can barely listen to it now ❤ RIP Chester ❤
Day 28 – A song by an artist whose voice you love: Hozier – Take Me To Church
He’s Irish too
Day 29 – A song you remember from your childhood: Janet Jackson – Rhythm Nation (1989)
Day 30 – A song that reminds you of yourself: Little Mix – Wings *always loved these girls*
So I forgot that February only has 28 days, lol
Day 21 – A song you like with a person’s name in the title: Rednex – Cotton Eye Joe
Day 22 – A song that moves you forward: Celtic Woman – Teir Abhaile Riu
(More makes me want to “jig” forward)
Day 23 – A song you think everybody should listen to: Ed Sheeran – I See Fire
Day 24 – A song by a band you wish were still together: The Monkees – Daydream Believer
In Memory of Peter Tork…Wish they hadn’t split up though. I have all their songs.
Day 25 – A song you like by an artist no longer living: George Harrison (my favourite Beatles) – Here Comes The Sun
Day 26 – A song that makes you want to fall in love: Moulin Rouge – Your Song (Yes, I know Elton Johns version).
Can I just say that I found 24 and 25 really hard, because there are just so many!
Day 14: A song you’d love to be played at your wedding: This is something that I’d love to do, because my partner is so shy. I’d love the first dance to be something where people aren’t necessarily looking at us. So I thought I’d have this song playing while pictures of people and loved ones who’ve passed or can’t be there are on the walls, from a projector or something similar.
There You’ll Be: Faith Hill
Day 15: A song that you like that’s a cover by another artist: I’m going to post the cover song, because it’s freaking brilliant!
Day 16: A song that’s a classic favourite, Day 17: A song you’d sing a duets with someone on karaoke. I put them together, because I felt like the song went with both.
