I watched “The Meg” over the weekend, so when I saw this, I thought “cool” lol.
World Oceans Day is celebrated on 8 June 2022. Each year on World Oceans Day we raise awareness about ending overfishing and protecting our oceans.
This year’s United Nations World Oceans Day, on 8 June 2022, will highlight the theme Revitalization: Collective Action for the Ocean. This is the first hybrid celebration of the annual event, hosted in-person at the UN Headquarters in New York and broadcast live.
The Seven Seas include the Arctic, North Atlantic, South Atlantic, North Pacific, South Pacific, Indian, and Southern oceans. I am first generation Australia, so we are pretty surrounded by water, haha.
I have an up and down relationship with the Ocean in particular, when I was little I lived really close to the beach, basically across the road from it. My Dad freaked out about the mortgage, and didn’t want pay for one, so we lost a house that is now worth OVER a millions dollars … spewing …
Anyway, letting that go…Just … I once had this “I am Queen of the Ocean relationship” until I was dunked four times in a row by it. Basically, I nearly drowned. Never really trusted it again, a few years ago now though. I went “swimming” with the dolphins. You go out on a boat, into the ocean and you snorkel, hold onto with a rope. You can see the dolphins in their natural habit.
It was cool, but also the weirdest feeling. It felt, weirdly, claustrophobic. Even though we were in the Ocean, it felt claustrophobic. It was a really odd feeling, lol. Completely amazing, but odd, lol
