It is completely weird…but that’s our world…

I participated in a poll last week, where we were asked if we trusted politicians or the media. Media lost, by over half and with 6,000 votes. Is it because we KNOW politicians will always be shifty? Whereas, I think I’m not alone in writing this…I don’t trust the media anymore. I EXPECT, and from the comments, so did others. You expect politicians to be shifty and nasty, even the nice ones. The media is SUPPOSED to be our defense against that.

Another one that I came across was the TERFS. Saying that one trans people want to take and take and take, and have taken everything “sacred” to females…Like if these females want public bathrooms that badly, they can bloody well have them. And yet, they’re confused when people call them “weird TERFs” because they (adults) are talking about complete strangers children’s orgasms, with no medical or health degree on Twitter. THAT IS FREAKING WEIRD! Too sit there publicly talking about how only women have cervices. One, not all women have a cervix, and not only women have one either. I ended up saying “The only difference between TERFs and MRA’S, MRA’s aren’t pretending they’re not obsessed with other’s genitals”.

But then Boris Johnson went and said this…’biology is very important but…’ and said he believed in treating everyone with ‘dignity and respect’.

So now, I’m like…whaaaaaa

The world in generally has just completely lost the plot. It’s a weird world, we’re living in…a mad world…even? The weirdest thing to me, is that the people in charge, like Johnson, Morrison (Australia), the BBC and the ABC. All these people have had jobs during the whole time, during each lockdown, in each country. They were allowed and kept going to work. So it’s weird to see them losing the plot.

My mum, as an example, has been able to work during most of the lockdowns. Has she had said to me previously, nothing really changed for her. But yet you see these Ministers and Journalists, actually working, and had somewhere to go and getting out of their homes during COVID, losing their minds.

Over 5,000 people attended this first event. World Animal Day 2021: History, Significance, Quotes and Wishes – OCTOBER 04, 2021, “WORLD ANIMAL DAY 2021: QUOTES AND WISHES”, News 18/Lifestyle

Do you have a favourite animal, wild or domesticated that you’d like to share with us?

Medics who are “mad”

Over the week I read a article about two healthcare workers (a mother and a daughter) dying from COVID. They weren’t vaccinated. They passed within roughly a week of each other.

I just kept re-reading the same words over and over again…”health care workers”. Who were anti-vax, and thus died from COVID. Is that real? Yes, it is.

Covid-19: Mother and daughter die days apart in hospital.

Mr McAllister said both his daughter and his ex-partner Ms Maddern were domiciliary care workers, who looked after elderly people in their own homes.

I am going to swear, how in FUCK, were these two allowed near elderly people? They didn’t want the vaccine, fine. But do NOT work around vulnerable people!

What is going on in the world? Like seriously.

I saw a tweet about this topic and someone said “That’s a bit iffy, them being around the elderly isn’t it”? And this woman actually had the audacity to say “Why would it matter”?

You have the Freedom to do what you want, but you do not have the Freedom to put my life at risk. You do not have the right to put my Gran’s life at risk. You don’t have a single Freedom, that means you get to harm those around. You don’t want to get vaccinated, you don’t want to do the least you can do to help your fellow “man”. Go back into the hell hole you create for yourself and STAY THERE. If I find out that you’ve put my life or my Gran’s life at risk, I am COMING FOR YOU! … And I will take your little dog from you too!

World Elephant Day is an international annual event on August 12, dedicated to the preservation and protection of the world’s elephants.  The first World Elephant Day was launched on August 12, 2012, to highlight the plight of Asian and African elephants.

The World Elephant Day was initiated on August 12, 2012, when Thailand-based Elephant Reintroduction Foundation teamed up with Canadian filmmaker Patricia Sims. This is not just a day but a movement in itself. Since 2012, Ms Sims has been leading World Elephant Day.

Some elephant facts:

Elephants are the largest land animals on Earth

Their tusks are actually teeth.

There are three different species of elephant – the African Savannah elephant, the African Forest elephant and the Asian elephant.

Elephants need up to 150kg of food per day – that’s around 375 tins of baked beans although half of this may leave the body undigested.

Elephant tusks never stop growing, so enormous tusks can be a sign of an old elephant. Both male and female African elephants grow tusks, but only male Asian elephants grow them.

A single calf is born to a female once every four to five years and after a gestation period of 22 months—the longest of any mammal.

World Lion Day

In case you hadn’t noticed, I have a huge love for Lions and Lionesses.

Remembering Lions

World Lion Day is celebrated on August 10 of every year to raise awareness about lions and to mobilise support for their protection and conservation. According to the World Wide Fund for animals (WWF), even though a lion is often referred to as the “king of the jungle,” it actually only lives in grasslands and plains. There is however, The Asiatic lion is a Panthera leo leo population surviving today only in India. Since the turn of the 20th century, its range is restricted to Gir National Park and the surrounding areas in the Indian state of Gujarat. Historically, it inhabited much of the Middle East to northern India

In all honestly, I think I began to love Lions because of talking one from a book, and I’ve just love them ever since. My favourite is Mufasa, but I love them both.

Lions can get their water from plants

There are thought to be as few as 23,000 lions left in the wild. When you think there are around 415,000 wild African elephants, you realise lion numbers are incredibly low. In fact, lions have disappeared from over 90% of their historical range.

Lions are the second largest big cat species in the world (behind tigers).

Lions are the only known cat species where individuals roar together – with even young cubs joining in with their mews. The calling sequence usually lasts about 40 seconds.

World Yoga Day

The International Day of Yoga has been celebrated annually on 21 June since 2015, following its inception in the United Nations General Assembly in 2014. Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice which originated in India.

The theme for the International Yoga Day 2021 is ‘Yoga for well-being’. This theme has been conceived to stress on the importance of the role of yoga in the care and treatment given to Covid-19 patients during the quarantine period.

I have to admit though, I probably will not participating this year. I went and hurt my pubic bone! We have…HAD…a mop that broke ages ago, but I used it this one LAST time. The handle keeps going up and down, the stopper, isn’t stopping it. So it’s really horrible to handle. Last time it made my back ache for a while. This time my back ached for a while AND I’ve somehow hurt my pubic bone…

So new mop.

In the meantime though. I can’t…it’s a weird feeling,lol

Did you know: Some facts about Yoga

Yoga is not a religion, it is connected to religion, and stems historically from Hinduism, but also to Jainism and Buddhism.

The practice of Yoga was started during the Indus-Sarasvati civilization in Northern India over 5,000 years ago. It was first mentioned in Rig Veda, a collection of texts that consisted of rituals, mantras, and songs which was mainly used by Brahmans, the Vedic priests.

Shiva is also known as Adiyogi Shiva, regarded as the patron god of yoga, meditation and arts.

The funny about Shiva being the God of Yoga, meditation and arts. Is how many white women, TERFs, especially practice Yoga, Meditation and consider themselves artsy or crafty. It’s funny because the God Shiva, has both Male and Female features. THE MORE YOU KNOW.

World Endangered Species Day

…Is not actually today, but on Friday the 21st. However, I do feel that Endangered Species are sometimes forgotten, especially when humans are experiencing global issues, like global viruses. There are also different dates for National campaigns in your country, so look those up some time!

This may be the saddest article I’ve read so far…Mainly because it was written at the beginning of May 2021, and actually that before you even finish reading the article, some of the animals may have gone extinct already.

42 Most endangered Animal Species – Owlcation, May 3:2021 – Kelley Marks

I just wanted to also say that you don’t have to spend money to help endangered species either. It’s more about being aware. For example, Orangutans. Their habitats are being destroyed because the plants in their area, can create palm oil. Which is used in a LOT of products.

Every hour 300 football fields of precious remaining forest is being ploughed to the ground across South East Asia to make way for palm oil plantations. Palm oil is used in everything from snack foods to soaps.

Palm Oil – The Orangutan Project

It can be just as simple as being aware of what is in each of the products you’re buying, and then deciding whether or not if that product is worth it.

Oddball Questions:

Is cereal soup? Why or why not?

Sometimes it turns into soup, lol. Let’s get fancy and call it breakfast soup!

What are some interesting ways to answer everyday questions like “how’s it going” or “what do you do”?

What I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you.

What was your favorite toy growing up?

I had a few, I’ve held onto a few as well, making sure that I keep them in relatively good condition. One though, that really stands her, and I still have her. I think she’s called either Brittany or Britney, she’s a “life size” doll and she came with me everywhere! Unfortunately, every time I put in Brittany or Britney life size doll, it’s only ever Britney Spears doll. My brother, when he started to learned how to sow, turned her Goth! Haha! If you look at life size Barbie’s from the early 90’s, that’s pretty much how she looked, but she wasn’t a Barbie. I called her my sister, and we went everywhere together.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! My Mum sent me her picture!

If you have a pet, and you could ask it three questions, what would you ask?

  1. What do we do that annoys you, that we do?
  2. Would be willingly to try different cat foods.
  3. Do you like me? lol

Attitude of Gratitude Section (Always Optional)

What’s one simple thing society at large could do to improve our world?

Honestly? Just take the time to actually shut up and LISTEN…
