Thursday Theories and a cup of tea

I sit here in the hotel room, and wonder…WHAT CAN I WRITE?!

The flight over was going alright, until that descent! I can’t remember that last time I just felt terrible on a descent. Guaranteed, it has been a while since I’ve flown.

There was a moment where I really did feel that my breathe had just been taken away. It has too be at least over 5 years since I’ve flown. I forgot how the ascent and descent can be a little scary. Mainly because of that whole gravity thing. I literally grabbed my partners arm at one point.

Then when we got to where we were going, we went out and got … TACO BELL! … As we were waiting, I stepped in gum…Eww, but here’s the thing. It was inside the shop, so even more ewww, lol.

You know how hotels always have that free tea and coffee in hotel rooms, well now I’m sitting down, after getting the gum off my shoes and having a free cup of tea, hehe

I still call Australia home…

32. A city you’ve visited

I guess I would have to talk about Arizona in the United States of America. A few years ago I went there for a few months a time every few months….I would work my butt off in Australia for a few months and then stay in Arizona for a few months.  I was actually dating someone from Arizona and then of course, it just never seemed to work out.

I am grateful for it for a few various reasons. It was the bravest thing I had ever done. Everyone was shocked that I went over there, including myself. I never seemed the type to go over and potentially get stood up in a “foreign” country. Which actually nearly happened, because he went to the area.

Also though it made me brave for so many different reasons. I travelled by myself and I do get airsick. I had to learn to do a lot by myself. Travelling to America taught me how to really cook, rather than just heat things up. Walking around by myself, my partner at the time worked retail at Walmart and it was about 10-15 minute walk. I used to walk around and buy grocery shopping, I learnt a lot to do by myself.

I’m Back!

I am back from my short holiday interstate and it was such a great weekend…I was trying to write something this morning, but I just felt so tired. I was very lucky that I was not working today, because I’ve had this little bit of a headache, just at the front of my head.

I love to travel, I am not a very good flyer (I get motion sickness) but there is something about travelling and seeing a different state that can just motivate one. My Aunt and I were talking about how if we lived in Melbourne we’d probably get bored of it and she’s probably right…But I still really love it. I think that Melbourne is the state that my State should be modelling itself on and I think we are headed that way…However slowly. I am actually not a big Sydney fan, it’s just to busy.

I am looking forward to the rest of the week to see what happens. I need things to change!

Share Your World…Week 40

Share Your World

http://ceenphotography.com/2015/10/05/share-your-world-2015-week-40/

Wow! I completely cannot believe that we are up to Week 40! Only twelve weeks to go now!

If you have been to a foreign country name those you have been too?

I have been to a few (and hope to return to each of them very soon!)…I have been to America and the United Kingdom (England). They are both great countries for both very different reasons. I actually travelled from America to England and since I was staying in Arizona, to go from that to the green of England…Was an amazing difference!

Is the glass half empty or half full? What type of glass is it and what is in the glass?

I really liked this question, I am probably a “half full” type of person. However, I think sometimes I’ll be a half full person with either tea, vodka or juice…Depends on the situation and the person that I’m with!

If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get?

Oh my goodness, I would have to choose between seafood and lasagne…Or can I put them together?!

List:  List at least five places worth shopping.

  1. My favourite of all time now is “BooHoo” online (this one if from Australia, but they deliver worldwide)
  2. I used to really love this place “Ice Design“, but I’ve gone off them a little…Every time I go in there, the sizes change.
  3. I LOVE this shop “Typo” it full of great office and bedroom/living area knick knack type stuff.
  4. Just the classic of all time “Ebay
  5. There are also a lot of places that I think are worth shopping but some may be too expensive for me to constantly buy from.

10 Years

So this week I will be renewing my passport, I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since I applied for it! Amazing! =D I’ve been looking at a lot of American things this week and I am so tempted to have a Halloween party, my favourite American holiday =D (I do like the pies though that they make for Thanksgiving =D) It was so long ago there is no “time hop” because Facebook wasn’t even around then…It was Myspace all the way! =D

I will be back one day!

What was happening though ten years ago during August of 2005.

  • A little highly anticipated-to-fail film came out called “Batman Begins” starring Christian Bale.
  • “TomKat” was a ‘new’ thing…Who could ever forget that couch hopping!
  • Star Wars, Episode III came out enraging the whole of the entire planet!
  • Carrie Underwood had won American Idol
  • Kardashians was an unknown name.

Home is where the Heart is

As many of you know, I spent last weekend in Melbourne and I loved it. I came home and started to plan my next trip! I think if I got a great job I would just love to live there. I mean they do seem to always have a lot of Library jobs going…Who knows!

Melbourne Magic!

Well I got back from my trip last night so I thought that I would write just a little bit about it. Also I have to cheer myself up because the busy season for where I work starts for the next month and in the run up to it, I’ve once again been reminded how customers can be the customer service area worst enemy! =D

It was fantastic! The freedom that Melbourne offers people is something definitely not seen in Adelaide. You can pretty much get on any form of public transport and you’ll get somewhere really quickly. In Adelaide you can be travelling somewhere that should take you about 10 minutes and it will an hour, sometime more if the bus is not on time (which regularly happens).

Plus when there are just SO many shows and plays and just so many things that you can do. It was just incredible, I didn’t even mind the blistering cold. I want to go back there as soon as possible and stay WAY longer next time, I am already planning my next trip.
