Hindsight

So we have all probably heard of that saying Hindsight is 20/20.

I have been thinking a lot about this lately. Let’s be honest, a lot of us could all see everything that’s happening now. When you think about Trump and Jan 6th, the terribleness of the Johnson/Tory Government.

We were talking about critical thinking at work yesterday, and I think in some ways that hindsight, common sense and critical thinking all kind of come together. Sometimes you need hindsight so you learn how to “think” better. Common sense usually means you knew something was “off”. Even if you can’t put your finger on it.

Funny thoughts

I thought I would share with you all the weirder thoughts that I have. See if you can relate:

• Why would anyone get life insurance? (After watching numerous crime shows).
• If you’ve lived MORE than half your life in #Australia, can only vote in Australia…Then NO, you are not British.
• Why is it always the people who give no respect to others, demanding that others respect them?
• There are lot of self victims about.
• You can’t just not tell welfare/Centrelink that you didn’t work.
• I just really don’t care what that signature is, lol. (Work related)
• I am crying over kitty litter. What is up with that!

I don’t know how to think, there’s an emptiness, I can’t see it, but I can feel it.

When I think of you, that hole becomes a little more filled. You may not be here, but I will always smile when I think of you. I guess that means I’m always going to be smiling.

I am one of the lucky few, who gets to be unconditionally loved, not only once in my life, but twice! The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.

Breathe in and out, I can still see you there. How can it be that there are two colours winding throughout right. Blue and yellow, winding separately, never interacting. Sad and bright, bright and sad. On the breath of the wind.

My Thoughts

I have had pretty much nothing to write about today, so I was thinking what can I write?

While I was reading through the other posts on here, I was inspired, to literally write a post on whatever I was thinking about *within reason of course*.

I just feel like there is so much going on in my mind, and one post may not be enough to write about them all. I could write individual posts, for each individual thought. But, where’s the fun in that? Why not write a thought about each single thought that I’ve been thinking about today. There is a lot going.

There was the California “recall”. I felt like reading through some of the responses I may have been the only one who thought it was going to be perfectly fine, haha.

I am so tired of journalists, making themselves the story, rather than telling the story.

I am so tired of journalists gaslighting the public.

I can’t figure out how to use the vaccine emoji on my twitter profile.

Despite everything, there’s always little glimmers of hope, that everything is going to be okay. It’s just one or two things. Despite these huge powerful platforms, the public are seeing them.

You can’t really hide in this world anymore. You can, but you have to be smart about it.

I don’t know what’s going to happen…

So tonight is going to be interesting, I have written a little more about it for next week, and people’s lack of LISTENING SKILLS lately. Tonight though, I am supposedly seeing a Orchestra play by Candlelight Disney songs. However, it’s been a bit of a disaster from start to finish and I have now gotten to the point where when people ask me “What do you want to do” I just say “I’m fine” Thinking in my head “you haven’t listened to me so far” lol.

There’s a good chance that tonight is a scam. Started by the people who are now not listening too me.

Even though it’s supposed to be for me, and I rang all these different places and they’re saying it’s probably a scam, because apparently, even though I don’t have any information, it has to be up to me to find out. No one listened to me anyway, and were fine with the response from the place that’s doing the scam.

As sad as it sounds, I am really hoping this is a scam and it blows up in their faces.

If it isn’t that’s great, but I am so pissy right now.

I did start laughing though, when I went to see my therapist as well today (that was a great session) and was sent a text message from one of the people who didn’t listen to me. Saying “Good luck today. Might help with getting ready tonight”. So I faked as worried text saying “Why???!!! What’s going wrong with tonight NOW”. They’ve been sitting there, not listening too me trying to convince me it’s not a scam, just to text me good luck for tonight? Why, you keep telling me it’s not a scam now. So is it, or isn’t it?

Well not really, but catchy title, no?

I was talking with some friends and we were talking about the insaneness of the last few years, in some big countries. Then we started to talk about, the why and the how.

How did such great countries, manage to vote in such utter losers and tossers? How did we even get Trump, Morrison, Johnson etc to begin with? I don’t know anyone who voted for them, so I can’t ask why. Or at least no one is admitting to me that they voted for Morrison.

But how?! I had always though these big powerful countries were smarter than that. Even though Biden won, it wasn’t a landslide.

We need to investigate!

So, I went on Twitter.

JKRowling has signed a letter, basically to say that the “cancel culture” is ridiculous. I mean, she just wants to cancel transpeople altogether, and uses her massive platform to do so. But yeah, people who are calling her out for her bigotry are the ones with problem? Her whole tweet was about how their should be freedom of thought and speech.

There is, you dumb ass…You can say whatever you want.

It does not mean, you get a free pass. It does not mean that no one can say anything to you. It does mean that calling you out on your bigotry, people are debating you. In fact, the point of opposition and debate, is for people to talk who don’t agree. Debate is not talking with people who agree with you.

The interesting thing I saw in the comments though, was the amount of Brexiteers and Trump Supporters. Now, too me, that would make me go “Oh, I’ve gone and stuffed up” I doubt that Rowling thinks that.

That’s what frustrates me though, people just don’t THINK anymore. They say something without thinking about it. There were so many Trump Supporters who were saying they apologise for the extreme left. We don’t need the far-right deplorable’s to apologise for us, being able to accept people. If by being “extreme” means you can accept people, then call me…

Do these “people” like JKRowling ever just THINK, maybe if she wasn’t being so horrible, then she wouldn’t be “cancelled?”. I didn’t want to see Magic Beasts with Depp, I certainly wont be seeing, if they do bring out another.

Do they even see the irony of yelling “Freedom”? While literally trying to cancel and get rid of a whole group of people, because they don’t like them. One person who said that transpeople should not allowed to be, a comment supporting them said and I quote “She’s not saying they can’t be who they want to be”. Which is LITERALLY what she was saying, it is literally what she is trying to stop them for being. How is that not saying that people can’t be who they want too be?

Sometime I am little late to the plate, so to speak.

For the whole of pretty much the whole of Pride month. I had to keep telling people that there is actual Science that says certain people are born with more gay genetics/DNA. It’s just fact…And we all know how much Conservatives love to say “Facts don’t care about your feelings”.

It’s only just occurred to me though. They are just so gosh darn insistent that it’s not something you are born with. Why is that? Why are they not happy, that if it’s something you are born with, you’d think by the time they reached adulthood, they’d know? Then I had just this most random thought. Do you think, they actually believe you can “catch gay”? Which is why they are so insistent you can’t be born gay? If they tell themselves it’s “lifestyle” and not something your born with…They’re safe?

They can’t “catch it”.

Is that why they are so worried, because they clearly have hidden feelings?

I think that they think about swimming, maybe a little eating…whatever those particular fish eat. Maybe a little fooling around, just a little bit of this and a little bit of that.

What celebrity would you have as a SPOUSE, if you HAD to choose?

What’s the most expensive thing you’ve ever broken?

I don’t know if it was even expensive, but when I was little my Grandparents had a large Michelangelo’s statue. Yes, in all his glory, but that’s not what I saw. I used to go up to him and give him a hug (when I was little) I’d talk to him. One time when I went up to hug him, i hugged him a little too hard and he fell over…he broke. I’m not exactly sure if it was hugely expensive, but it felt, it might have been.

When was the last time you slept more than 9 hours in a stretch?  Why?

Generally the last time I slept more than 9 hours, I was not feeling well. I keep finding that if I sleep for a long time, I get a really sore back. So no more huge sleep ins for me.
