Share Your World … Week 14

If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work?

Yard Work! Definitely yard work! The others I kind of enjoy cooking and cleaning and they are almost therapeutic for me, but I loathe yard work. It’s just something that I have never gotten into. My mum has been overseas for the last couple of weeks and I’ve had to upkeep her flowers and they are still alive, but I’ve so not enjoyed it at all!

What makes you laugh the most?

I’d have to say that it’s a combination of my puppy, my partner and my Mum. They just know me really well. My Dog is great because she’s just a silly fluffy bundle of awesome. Sometimes when I get to wake up with her, she’s so happy to wake up to in the morning. She’s all bright and sparkly and wiggles with her tail wagging a lot, hehe

What was your favorite food when you were a child?

Oh wow! This was definitely a strain for my brain. The first thing that popped into my head though, was I used to LOVE this ‘lunch meat’ called Fritz. It’s made from the Devon sausage and they are usually cut up into slices (to put on sandwiches).

List at least five favorite flowers or plants.

  1. I love any kind of Blossom type trees, they are just gorgeous. Especially when they are in full bloom.
  2. Love Lilies, I know that they are associated with Death and so forth. They are utterly beautiful though, all of them.
  3. I love sunflowers, they are so bright, beautiful and happy.
  4. Roses, it might be a cliché, but they are a cliché for a reason!
  5. There is nothing like a great big Oak tree. They are so magnificent and just so magical in the right setting.

Blogging is Magic!

I have been trying so hard to think of some sort of character to talk about for another edition of “Magic Monday” but who better than who talk about bringing Magic into my life than the wonderful world of Blogging! (Also I apologise for the lateness of my Blog).

I initially started this Blog as a school project and no it’s had turned into something that I actually love coming and doing every week (when I get the chance, or feel I have something to write about). I feel this has become a personal space that I can feel safe in and pretty much anyone who follows this Blog are the people who know about it. None of my family or friends know about this Blog. That isn’t because I’ve been writing nasty things about them (I never would). I don’t know…I just feel like this is my space…Just for me.

Through Blogging I have met some extremely wonderfully awesomely nice people. Who have given me amazing advice and I am shocked to know that people are reading and are reading what I am saying. Which is so not what my personal life is like at all! Sometimes I feel as though I am writing status after status on Facebook and no one actually gives a hoot. Sometimes I wonder if there is even a point to have a Facebook anymore.

Cutting it off and letting it go…

So…today I went for a chop a big hair chop! I realised when I woke up this morning that I had done nothing, not cutting off split ends…Nothing! With my hair since March!  Since the whole “he-who-shall-not-be-named” and I broke up.

What is it about cutting our hair or doing something different with our hair that is completely therapeutic? I can honestly say that I feel lighter both physically and emotionally. Today for the first time in such a long time, well over a year, I actually feel pretty again! I wish I had done this earlier!!!

I swear that it should be a law or something that after a break up both injured parties have to go and get their hair done! It’d probably save others from the endless ‘heart breaking’ posts on Facebook!lol
