Normally, I love all thing second hand. I probably will one day, have a wardrobe full of second hand stuff, when I’m moved in with my partner.
Honestly, I can see it happening. Most people would balk at that thought, including my Mum, which is why I have to wait. You can get some really amazing clothes, good quality clothes, at second hand shops. op shops.
What this blog is about though, is about second hand talk or gossip. It is REALLY annoying, especially when you know that the information is second hand AND by people who don’t like the people, others are talking with the second hand information. It’s gross. I actually recently sent and email to two co-workers who sit behind me, and they were talking about Meghan Markle’s podcasts, but, from second hand information.
Which, if any of you have read my blogs, know that I can’t stand haters of Meghan Markle, because I can totally get where she’s going from. What REALLY disgusts, they’re talking about second hand information of when Meghan Markle was a first time NEW mother. They even had the audacity to say “Did she was was “traumatized” I don’t know ladies, why don’t you go and actually listen to the podcast. Just an idea. I didn’t say that, but I did say be careful of what you’re saying and around who.
Funny thing was, the morning after I saw all these news articles about how “news” readers were (like Piers Morgan) getting completely blasted for what they were saying about her. Which made me feel better, because I thought I was being “crazy” thinking it was wrong.
I hope that not too many people in my life know about this Blog…and if they do…Oh well, lol
I finally went to see a psychotherapist and I am really glad that I went to see somebody.
It was fantastic!
See, I’m one of those people that don’t really like to burden people with my problems…I’ve told people about my anxiety mainly so they understand why I’ve stopped turning up to things and how I just don’t want to be treated anymore.
The main issues that I’ve been having is since I’ve started taking my anxiety medication I’ve become more “susceptible” to things…If I read it or hear about it I’m convinced I’m going to get it…Which isn’t great when all these people around myself and celebrities that I adore, have either been having or dying from heart attacks…It’s so tiring being on high alert ALL the time when the pills make you so sleepy.
(This Chihuahua looks like my doggie)
It’s been fantastic to talk to someone/anyone about what I’ve been going through, what I’ve been feeling, how the anxiety started…It’s been great! The first time I went we just kept talking that I didn’t even notice the time go by. I was so sad when it ended. She did say that sometimes after the first session people get really upset because they’ve let out so much…But I felt great! I even went into the city and did shopping for 3 hours all by myself! I haven’t done that since I first got came down with the anxiety blues. I can’t actually wait to go back!
I promise this is going to be my last Same Sex Marriage post, mainly because I think by now people have their minds pretty set. Guess What…Whether you agree with someone or not, they have a right to say what they think. We don’t actually have “Freedom of Speech” in Australia, we have an implied right to political speech.
Basically whether or not you agree with the other side, they have a right to say what they want, but you also have to accept the consequences of those actions. A lot of businesses for example have social media type clauses.
The situation frustrates me because the Government should have just let it happen. I swear, there would have been a few upset people but I truly do think it would have just died down after a few months. Other countries that have done it, are perfectly fine. So what is the problem?
Oh and if one more person brings up “paedophilia” for a reason to Vote “No”. I swear I will list every single Church since the beginning of time that have either been charged or investigated for paedophilia…George Pell anyone?
Here are some facts:
- People had up until the 24th of August to register to Vote.
- There is a very quick way to check where the closest post office box is to you. You’ll probably find that it’s actually within walking distance.
- Your vote has to be back by November 7th.
- It’s not a obligatory vote.
- Probably the saddest fact that even if the majority Vote Yes…It still doesn’t mean that the Government have to let it pass, there will just be more of a possibility of it happening.
- No matter what the outcome is…Gay people can already have children, whether it’s by adoption or surrogacy or…other. The outcome of this vote will NOT change that. Some people seem to still need to get this one in their heads.

When you’re alone at home, do you wear shoes, socks, slippers, or go barefoot?
My feet get really cold whether it’s Summer or Winter, I must have really bad circulation or something. If you were to see me at home being myself with no one around I would most likely be wearing socks at the very least, during both warm and cooler weather.
What was your favorite food when you were a child?
I was a weird child, I actually really enjoyed my vegetables and I still enjoy eating Brussels sprouts. It’s funny because I don’t know why but I eat so much more junk food these days, probably something with it to do with being fast and easy ~.^ lol…I’ll enjoy the first couple of bites and then think “Why did I eat that?” Yet, when I eat vegetables or fruit, i seem to enjoy every bite.
Are you a listener or talker?
I am definitely a listener, I’m not sure if it’s because everyone I know is just louder than me or if that’s just the way I am too be honest, lol…It’s probably a little bit of both…I don’t mind being a listener though because I feel like that’s when I learn the most.
Favorite thing to (pick one): Photograph? Write? Or Cook?
I guess that I’d have to go with Writing, I love to do it and I really love doing it for myself especially. Every now and then I will just get in a mood and write, and write and write. I do also enjoy taking photos, but mainly of myself, my pets and honestly of scenery. All of which would probably bore a lot of people. Yet, sometimes the scenery pictures also get me motivated to write.
Just wanted to say a quick thank you for the all the lovely birthday wishes ❤ I was going to reply to everything individually, but it I soon realised that it was going to be complicated, so I thought it’d be quicker and better this way and then I can say thank you. Just talk a little about my weekend…Let’s talk and share with our first morning cup of coffee.
How was your weekend?
I’m also a bit nervous this morning, I start my first day of training with the Libraries. I’ve got training every day training, except for Friday, which is kind of lovely. I’ll probably be exhausted by Friday, and it’s all paid training as well.

Regarding your fridge, is it organized or a mess inside?
It’s relatively organised, some might call it an “organised mess”. I know where everything is, isn’t that what matters?
Do you prefer your food separated or mixed together?
If I am really hungry, I just want to eat the food. Usually I don’t mind either way as long as it doesn’t make the food all soggy.
Do you prefer reading coffee table books (picture), biographies, fiction, non-fiction, educational?
It depends honestly, I like genre’s or books like Agatha Christie, but I also enjoying reading about real life crime…Well…Not “enjoy” that would be weird, but I find it intriguing.
Close your eyes. Listen to your body. What part of your body is seeking attention? What is it telling you?
At the moment it is definitely a connection between my mind and my stomach. I was suffering from a anxiety issue since last year and I was starting to get over it and I had a “bad day” a couple of weekends ago and I’m kind of having to restart again. It’s so frustrated and I’m fed up with dealing with it, but you gotta do what you gotta do. That’s the problem with the mind though, it’s hard to fight it.
Share Your World … Week 48
Do you prefer eating foods with nuts or no nuts?
It depends on the dish! Sometimes having nuts can give the dish a different, crispy feel. I think they are great in things like salads, but not so great in something like soup.
If someone made a movie of your life would it be a drama, a comedy, a romantic-comedy, action film, or science fiction?
Mine would probably be a romantic-comedy. Which is funny because I don’t actually like those, but it makes the most sense for a film for me, I’ve dated some real funny ones, but ended up with the best!
Who talks real sense to you?
My Grandmother, she such a non nonsense type person, she also really gets me as well. She knows what I’m capable of and what I’m not. When I’m ready to listen and when I’m not.
Do you have a favorite board game?
My favourite board game is probably Monopoly. I usually am not a huge game board player, because I don’t like sitting around for too long. One of the reasons I like Monopoly is because you can have a few people playing, so it’s a bit more interactive.
This or That? #67
This week Bookmark Chronicles would like to know:
This week’s question is…..
If you could only get information about books from one of the following sources, would you choose book blogs or booktube?
So basically would you want to read about it or watch videos? *It depends* is not an option.
After recently finding the wonderful world of Booktube, I’ve actually started to watch a few videos. I think that they are great, but one of the reasons I’ve enjoyed watching is because you can see the body language of the person. So this means you can see if they are really happy about the book or really hated it through their body language.
I will keep reading Book Blogs, because I just find them more, I can read it and make my own mind up, rather than get pulled into someones excitement or hate for a book and not read it based on that. Reading something I can imagine, or maybe even question why they wrote that bit in. Sometimes I just personally feel that it can keep some of the mystery, reading a review, rather than seeing someone’s reaction to it. It makes me want to get out and get out and get it, bad or good.
I found this picture on Cybersmile…Please check them out!
*Update* I actually scheduled this post before the start of last weekend, but how relevant is it this week!*
Share Your World … Week 21
What is your favorite go to beverage? Water, coffee, tea, coke, soda (non-alcoholic)
If I had to choose from all of those it would have to be a nice cup of tea. Tea just always makes me feel better, it’s always a nice drink during Winter and when you are feeling poorly. Even during Summer, tea always seem like a good choice. It’s just so soothing.
Can you change a car tire?
Are you a listener or talker?
I am definitely a listener, I am usually the quietest in all of the group I’m in. Sometimes I’m even an “unwilling” listener. You know the types you don’t want to or can’t deal with people that day, but they don’t notice the little signs that you keep putting out.
Would you rather have no internet or no cell phone?
I would rather have no internet, because at least with a cell phone I could keep in contact with everybody still. I could with the internet, but not everyone has a computer or something like an internet connection. Nearly everyone I know though has some sort of phone. I also find having a cell phone is much more handier in an emergency.
