How’s it going?

I am literally writing this on the spot, so let’s see how I go. A lot of my posts are pretty much scheduled, but I didn’t have this one scheduled. I didn’t end up planting the seeds today >.< I’m not going into to much details, but my partners been having panic attacks. He’s a teacher who, kind of volunteered, to take on extra classes this year…

So you can only imagine what’s going on in his mind. No one would take them on last year, so he said he’ll give it a go. He’s also go a terrible mindset. He’s one of those, even when nothing goes wrong. His mind always goes to the worst, and it will go there for a long time. It’s hard, but I’m hoping everything he’s going through will help to change the way he at least thinks.

Other than that, I’ve still got not job. The weather was terrible, but I’ve put holes into the containers to get them ready for the seeds. Originally I was going to leave this post open to talk about that. I’ve decided to go with herbs in those containers. I think anything else would be far to big to grow in them.

The Australian Government have now been caught out underfunding Australians with the Jobkeeper payments, and telling us the wrong number of unemployed NOW. Which is also about a half, but a half more than what they were saying. How much this will affect the recovery, getting people back into jobs, getting the debt repaid. They don’t know…But you can’t pay something back with money you don’t have.

So I’m having a couple of drinks tonight, getting drunk. Apparently, Bars and Pubs/Restaurants are now opened back up in South Australia, but with limits. So some are still not reopening, because it wouldn’t be worth it. I, personally, wont be heading out straight away, lol. How about yourself? When things start to relax (and they will) will you head out straight away?

What household chore do you absolutely enjoy doing? (can be indoor or outdoor)

For myself it’s more about why I’m cleaning, if that makes any sense? If I’m cleaning for a reason (even if that reason is because the house is gross) then I enjoy it more. Generally I don’t really enjoy any of it. I do enjoy putting things back where there supposed to go, all tidy and clean. Like you make a bigger mess first before it’s tidy. I enjoy the part when it gets tidier…Basically I enjoy it when it’s done, lol.

Create a sentence with the words “neon green” and train”.

I wanted to travel in the neon green train along the Pacific train track.

Other than your cell phone what can you always be found with?

At the moment and since Christmas (other than my wallet). I can always be found with a fidget square. I’m not actually sure that it works, but whenever I use it, I definitely do not get worse! My partner was going to get me a spinner, but, and rightly so, thought that it’d be too boring for myself and wouldn’t distract me at all. So far, he’s been right. All the spinners seems to do is spin and the squares allow you to hide them in your pockets as well.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

I actually smiled at people unfriending me on Facebook this week. I’ve started to notice that when I write something positive or how happy I am. I lose someone, and you know what? Goodbye Felicia’s! My Facebook is not a place for you to feel better about yourself via my misery or to use to go and spy on me. I’m not sorry for starting to be genuinely happy with my lot in life. For the first time in a really long time, probably since my Grandfather died about 5-6 years ago. I am happy.

My thoughts to people who want to me to be unhappy, or are just jerks in general, or my happiness is boring to them.

So what is this award all about

Versatile Blogger Award — It is an award given by a blogger to another blogger which is new in the world of blogging to help them gain confidence and push them to do a good job on what they’re doing. It is also designed to help other bloggers be discovered.

If you check out the top of my post you will find the set of rules you need to follow for this tag!

7 FACTS ABOUT ME:

  1. I have been seeing a hypnotherapist for about 5 months about, my first appointment was in December. I have learnt that Hypnotherapy wont work for everyone, it is helping me too manage my anxiety issues, but I have noticed that I’m not “cured” either. Hypnotherapy won’t work on everyone and it works at different levels for people and my Hypnotherapist made that very clear too me on the very first visit and I think that’s why I respect him so much.
  2. I’m at a point in my life where I feel completely torn all the time. It’s very stressful. Whenever I’m at my partners hour I miss my house and my dog and my Mum and my bed, and then when I’m at my home I miss everything about my Partner and his cat. I’m trying to move into my partners house, but finding a permanent job up there is proving difficult.
  3. I’m at that point where I very much dislike going on Facebook or Instagram, the only place I really enjoy going “on” anymore is Twitter. I have a feeling that’s because you don’t always get a lot of “suggested” posts on there. You get to see what you want too see. You also don’t get other peoples suggested posts, because they’re posting horrible things. Even the promoted ads don’t bug me.
  4. The last couple of years I’ve been chucking things out, and oh my goodness, I have a lot of stuff! Just recently we’ve been going through a lot of boxes that haven’t been opened in about 10 years, I have a lot of stuff!
  5. Writing about having a lot of stuff. At the end of each season I wash all the Summer/Winter/Spring and Autumn clothing that I wore during that season and start chucking out the tops/pants etc that I did not wear during that season. Usually as a season ends I realise how much clothing I have and they don’t all fit in again. In the first couple of weeks as the new season begins I will chuck out clothing from the last season.
  6. I have Googled myself and I can’t find much on myself. It actually takes me quiet a while to find myself anywhere, which is kind of great too. Even my Facebook profile, because I use a nickname as my last name. So people have a hard time finding me. There’s some good tricks there!
  7. I’m very low maintenance ,style wise, it’s probably border line lazy to some. Even brushing my hair annoys me at the moment, but that’s probably because it’s really long and takes me about 10-15 minutes to brush it and still ends up in a huge knot 30 minutes later.

Cleaning Spritz!

I am a weird human being, I actually enjoy cleaning…Okay, I enjoy cleaning up my stuff and the mess I made. When I go to somebody else’s house though I will help clean up, but I don’t enjoy it…Cleaning up my own room, my own house, my partners house…I really get a kick out of it.

We are heading into Winter, here Down Under. So not only is cleaning kind of a meditation for me, but it’s a good work out as well and keeps me nice and warm. I have also been trying to get rid of things and stuff, it’s been going on for about two years now and I am still going. Sure, it’s like one bag every three months or so, but I have a lot of stuff!

So readers, do you enjoy cleaning, what is your advice for Winter cleaning?

Stuff and Things

So since my post last week about “Little Nooks” for your reading areas. I have found so many more amazing things that you can just have in your room. I’ve listed a few of my new favourite sites (where I’ll look for hours, but never buy anything). I’m always trying to find “things and stuff” for that day I win the lotto and can have my dream house.

I found this amazing page on PinInterest. The page is called “Cool Stuff for Teens” but it’s really a bunch of amazing reading chairs that you can have in any reading room. To the very extravagant chairs, to many different variations of the ‘bean bag’.

Now personally when I’m reading a book, I tend to drink warm drinks with my book. Don’t know why, but I just find it so much more relaxing. However, I found these amazing USB mini fridges where you can put in a can or two, or even a bottle and keep it nice and cool. You can probably even put a nice glass of wine in it, to keep to cool. These products can range from about $30.00 – $60.00, depending on the brand, type and size.

Then as well there is always the little bits and pieces that go into your room. D.I.Y Ready Now I know a lot of these are for “teenage girls” BUT just your creativity to suit it to your needs (or wants…Should stop looking at these sites, they make really want to win the lottery, lol)

One with just a big amazing listing of things (I may have already bought one or two things from this list!):
