I know, I know…boring!lol

I was deeply depressingly disturbed to see over the pass weekend, how, for such a sports focused country. How we don’t really back our sports players.

Over the weekend billionaire and generally terrible human being. Gina Rinehart pulled out of her $15 million funding for Women’s Netball. The cause? Gina Rinehart wanted the Diamond Netballers to put her logo on their tops. Gina Rinehart is a terrible person, and she refused to acknowledge that her equally terrible father was a wannabe genocidal manic. So, she pulled the funding. One of the players on that Diamond Netballers is indigenious.

Gina Rineharts company is also an oiling company, and her company has also damaged indigenous land.

I was so disappointed to see so many Australians, being gleeful that she had done so. Calling the netballers “selfish” and “undeserving”. They really want the netballers to fail…but we are totally not a racist country, who cares about more about money. Just like what Jesus stood for.

When I started to look into more, I came across the article before. I knew how badly Peter Norman had been treated, even though he did the right thing and ASKED the other two black sprinters what he could do. Peter Norman was treated better by Americans, then his own home country.

As this has gone on, more has come out.

Apparently the only indigenous player on the team, and only the third indigenous player in 30 years, didn’t want to wear the logo. She had no problem with the rest of the team wearing it, but she didn’t want too.

Indigenous Australia Day

Course Karl is upset about the Cricket. The guy’s big “expose” on Meghan Markle was an interview with Katie Hopkins, the UKs BIGGEST racist. #AustraliaDay I stand with #CricketAustralia and their decision to wear #IndigenousAustralia Jerseys. That IS Australian.

And if you think Sports has never been political…Are you in for a shock. Course Sports is political.

How the Black Power Protest at the 1968 Olympics Killed Careers –

Why so many White Australians have a problem with moving a public holiday to another day, that doesn’t represent colonization. It’s just weird to me, why this is such a big deal. Why is it SUCH hard work to change a day, that doesn’t represent us NOW, to another day that would represent us NOW.

Any “Australian” that wants to kills off Koala’s to make money. Doesn’t have a single leg to stand on when talking about “What’s Australian” #KoalaKiller *cough* John Barilaro MP *cough*

If we, Australians, see these hypocritical comments for stupid elite leaders, and can’t see WHY we need to change the date from these comments alone. I don’t know what else to tell you.

By the way, I just found out that the “Australians of the Year” nominee’s were a majority, are of the Christian Faith -.- However, I am happy with who won “Australian of the Year”.

Put the blame where the blame lies

It’s time we stop blaming sports or entertainers for politics being involved. It’s the politicians who keep bringing it up! Kapernick had taken the knee for a while and was not a huge issue until the POTUS brought it up…The biggest issue with Macklemore was there weren’t Australian enough to perform at the Australian NRL Grand Final until Abbott made it an issue #puttheblamewheretheblamelies

I do sometimes wonder if these politicians are secretly wanting love to win or something? Abbott’s mentioned Macklemore and suddenly “Same Love” is number one on iTunes in Australia. Bernardi mentions #doitinadress and suddenly the causes gets more donations than it ever has before….Did I mention that Abbott and Bernardi said nothing flattering about either of these causes…Because they really didn’t.

RIP Phil Walsh

Today I was woken up in shock as I learnt the sad news that AFL Crows coach Phil Walsh had died and had been stabbed to death. The most shocking part of it all was that the perpetrator was his own son.

Well…maybe it’s not that shocking, after all around about 90% of violence and murders are by people that the person knows and these people are usually family members.

I am a big footy fan and the Crows are my team and although there are numerous statistics proving that this happens all the time, I think this is honestly the first time that I have ever heard of such a well known Coach or sports-person (in Australia) being stabbed or killed.
