aShare Your World 9-2-19
When you’re 90 years old, what do you suppose will matter most to you?
I’m hoping that it’ll just be something like family. That they’re happy and safe, that I wouldn’t have to worry about them.
What’s the best way to spend a rainy afternoon?
Oh, to read and drinking a nice cup of tea.
What is one thing you don’t understand about yourself?
My anxiety to be completely honest, lol. I know, completely logically, it’s literally all in my head. Yet, I keep having little attacks.
When was the last time you tried something to look ‘cool’ (hip), but it ended in utter embarrassment? Details?
I’m going to be honest with you all. Now this may come as a shock…But I’m not cool…at all. So not much embarrasses me, it’s usually me doing something silly.
GRATITUDE/I’M SO THANKFUL!
This is an opportunity to share a picture, a story or event that shows your gratitude.
I am very grateful to my therapist this week. Some people, may mean well, but really shouldn’t give out advice. My Aunt told me recently that this stress will kill me and my therapist was all “No one has died from a panic attack”. One, don’t tell people stress will kill them when they suffer from anxiety. Its kind of like when someone says “Are you mad yet?” “Are you mad yet”? Telling someone whose stressing out easily that stressing out will kill them…Guess what happens.
I read over the last week that there was going to be some huge devastating “thing” happen on this weeks episode of Doctor Who, so at the moment I am currently avoiding all types of social media. I am of those people who don’t think that it’s up to Facebook and all the specific Doctor Who pages to be quiet about the episode just for me.
So what do I do with all that sudden free time you may ask? I do “things”. Every time I stay off of social media it is amazing how much I get around to actually doing. I read books that I’ve been waiting to read, or finish off reading. I start or finish off crafts, I give the house a good cleaning, rather than a “It’s alright” job. It makes you wonder sometimes what you used to do with all that ‘free time’ time before social media came along.
I know not everyone has a social media type thing going in, but it seems more and more each day that we do. I’ve been thinking for myself that I am going to get into more Yoga and Pilates and build up mu muscle strength again, so I don’t ever go through this painful leg situation. I am also starting to prepare myself to get more into Crafts and hopefully become good enough at something that I can have that as a little “something on the side”.
So, my readers, what could be more magical than finding that time during the week to relax a little and close everything off for a while. Especially with another hectic bust season coming up! What do you like to do in your spare time? Any hints or suggestions to make the most of it?
