Share Your World…Week 11

How many siblings do you have? What’s your birth order?

I only have one sibling, a brother, and he is younger than myself. Although a lot of people always assume that he is the older sibling. I’m not sure if it is our personalities, or because he’s really tall and he’s voice is extremely deep.

In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?

Well I don’t drive so I’d rather be the passenger, for the safety of everyone! I am actually studying to get my licence at the moment. Even so, I think that I’d prefer to be the passenger. I worry a lot and the thought of being responsible for other people in a big “thing” does honestly scare me. Even with every person telling me about the freedom of being able to drive.

When you lose electricity in a storm, do you light the candles or turn on the flashlight? How many of each do you own?

I love the candles, I am a big candle person. One of my favourite shops is in this little town called “Hahndorf”… They have amazing candles Hahndorf Candle Shop …. Please give them a look!

List at least five of your favorite types of animals?  (any animal to domestic to wild to marine life)

  1. Lions/Lioness
  2. Hyena
  3. Wolves (Dogs in general really)
  4. Warthogs
  5. Owls

I know that some of my choices may seem a little “obscure” but after watching Safari Live now for over a year. I have really come to appreciate some of the animals that most wouldn’t assume as being a “favourite”. Take Warthogs for example, they are AMAZING mothers! So fierce and so protective, and just watching the little piglets rolling around in the mud, all happy. They will bring you joy, I promise!

Melbourne Magic!

Well I got back from my trip last night so I thought that I would write just a little bit about it. Also I have to cheer myself up because the busy season for where I work starts for the next month and in the run up to it, I’ve once again been reminded how customers can be the customer service area worst enemy! =D

It was fantastic! The freedom that Melbourne offers people is something definitely not seen in Adelaide. You can pretty much get on any form of public transport and you’ll get somewhere really quickly. In Adelaide you can be travelling somewhere that should take you about 10 minutes and it will an hour, sometime more if the bus is not on time (which regularly happens).

Plus when there are just SO many shows and plays and just so many things that you can do. It was just incredible, I didn’t even mind the blistering cold. I want to go back there as soon as possible and stay WAY longer next time, I am already planning my next trip.

What did you or did not like about the first apartment you ever rented?

Well I have never rented an apartment on my own, I have generally moved in with others. Since I had to go back to living with my Mother, you can guess how well those turned out. However one plus side of living with a parent is that I am able to save so I can get my own place =D

What kind of art is your favorite? Why?

This is a good question, I like a bit of everything really. Anything that moves me, I like. Except for that “modern” type stuff. Where they have a huge white canvass and a red square in the middle, which is supposed to represent “planet suffrage”…Yeah, I think that art is just silly, lol.

How many siblings do you have? What’s your birth order?

I have on younger brother and he just moved interstate recently, and I am going to be visiting him in a couple of weeks =D

Complete this sentence:  I’m dreaming of a white …. (and no you can’t use Christmas as your answer)

Wedding…Don’t tell my partner!lol

International Sibling Day 10th April

Siblings Day was created by Claudia Evart, a freelance paralegal from Manhattan, NY. Evart started the day after losing both her sister at an early age. It is a day of celebration and recognition for brothers and sisters around the world.

Siblings Day – Wikipedia

I am a big sister and I only have one little brother and this video cracks me up, because it is so true! I miss my little brother sometimes, he lives interstate and sometimes I just miss him terribly, but than other times I think sometimes it’s the distance that makes us closer.

What is earned…

respect

Last weekend was a particularly bad weekend, I was abused all weekend about how I didn’t “respect” them, which is a joke since pretty much so far 3/4 quarters of my life he never wanted anything to do with me. When I was a kid he would disappear for weeks, drunk. When I was a teenager he would abandon us to try and hurt my mother (because hurting my mothers children was such a turn on =/)…Drunk…Now in my adult years he “demands” that he is personally invited to everything, and then pulls out every time and a few days later, we all get threatening messages,

Yet, he’s done nothing wrong to us, he doesn’t deserve to be treated that way…Who in HELL is this guy kidding?!!!

Who is this person? My “father”.

The reason I am now writing posts like these. I am tired of being threatened and abused. Does my father have a clue how lucky he is that my siblings and I even bother still talking to him as already is? I am tired of being ashamed like I’ve done something wrong, he should be the one to be ashamed! Not US!

This is it though, all my life I’ve been ashamed when people have told me that I deserve to get hit and have partners stand by and do and say nothing when there friends attack me over nothing. I mean literally nothing, I asked them what I had done to them…No response. Why do I always end up being the one that feels ashamed? These guys are a joke!

Yeah, that’s gonna stop…I’m not having another 30 years of this.
