I participated in a poll last week, where we were asked if we trusted politicians or the media. Media lost, by over half and with 6,000 votes. Is it because we KNOW politicians will always be shifty? Whereas, I think I’m not alone in writing this…I don’t trust the media anymore. I EXPECT, and from the comments, so did others. You expect politicians to be shifty and nasty, even the nice ones. The media is SUPPOSED to be our defense against that.
Another one that I came across was the TERFS. Saying that one trans people want to take and take and take, and have taken everything “sacred” to females…Like if these females want public bathrooms that badly, they can bloody well have them. And yet, they’re confused when people call them “weird TERFs” because they (adults) are talking about complete strangers children’s orgasms, with no medical or health degree on Twitter. THAT IS FREAKING WEIRD! Too sit there publicly talking about how only women have cervices. One, not all women have a cervix, and not only women have one either. I ended up saying “The only difference between TERFs and MRA’S, MRA’s aren’t pretending they’re not obsessed with other’s genitals”.
But then Boris Johnson went and said this…’biology is very important but…’ and said he believed in treating everyone with ‘dignity and respect’.
So now, I’m like…whaaaaaa
The world in generally has just completely lost the plot. It’s a weird world, we’re living in…a mad world…even? The weirdest thing to me, is that the people in charge, like Johnson, Morrison (Australia), the BBC and the ABC. All these people have had jobs during the whole time, during each lockdown, in each country. They were allowed and kept going to work. So it’s weird to see them losing the plot.
My mum, as an example, has been able to work during most of the lockdowns. Has she had said to me previously, nothing really changed for her. But yet you see these Ministers and Journalists, actually working, and had somewhere to go and getting out of their homes during COVID, losing their minds.
