How often has Bigotry ever made sense

Too me, it never has made any sense, and that’s what makes bigotry so incredibly frustrating. It never makes any logical or common sense, let alone “scientific”.

Take people against BLM, as a starting point. How one of their big points is that black on black crimes outnumbers officer on black person crime. Here’s my issue with that…One…Well…duh, there’s more black on black crime. There are more black people than there are officers. And don’t the officers know it! My other issue is that, officers purposely murdering people should be a big fat…

Sure there are always accidents, sure there will always be that one officer who thinks they’re a God. There should have never BEEN a George Floyd, there should have never been a Breoanna Taylor.

You know what I’m getting at it?

Police should be held at just as high of a standard as Doctors. They are there to serve and protect, not murder!

Then you have the TERFs who call themselves “Feminists” A lot of their “points” is that they don’t want women to be reduced to just their reproductive and sexual organs. Then when asked to define what a woman is then, all they all talk about is what makes a “real” women are their reproductive and sexual organs.

You JUST said…

Apparently Diane here, is trans…because if you’re not cis…lol…I thought they were all about science.

This is the kind of dumb, I’m talking about. If you’re not cis, than you’re trans. As again, cis and trans are not specific men or women pronouns. Call them, if you will, human pronouns.

Trumptar Logic 3

How dare Time (magazine) keep re-posting the picture of Trump morphing into Putin…They are so biased!

I have to say writing this inconsistent overall comments made by Trump supporters. It actually makes me feel better, because when you try to point this out to them the illogical, they just plain don’t want to listen. You all seem to get it as well!

I am a Resistor!

resist

Let’s down right honest here…

Too be completely honest, I’d rather look this like then be a Trump Supporter any day of the week. If the worst you’ve got on someone is their “looks” Then you’ve got nothing…I’d rather look like this than be a racist, angry, hateful supporter of child molesters trump supporter any day of the week! Why do the they think THIS is an argument? When did someones looks become okay to attack? I don’t even find that great of an argument when people use Trumps hands as a defence, because, well it’s not.

I’m also shocked by how quickly they manage to get on Twitter when someone they don’t like writes anything on Twitter. Then it occurred too me that the majority of people who are on benefits and voted for Trump, are white people on benefits. Which means that people who don’t work and can’t afford to go anywhere, have Fox. We even get Hannity and Ingraham, in Australia, and they are played during the day. When other people are working. So retired, unemployed people have that all day. Even here, in Australia, the Trump supporters are people who do not work or are retired. Guess what is on all day?

IT ALL MAKES SENSE!

If someone can’t get out and see the world, this problem ALWAYS happens.

I, personally, have always found that if someone hasn’t left their own state BUT without an actual reason (for example, they suffer from anxieties) They tend to think the whole world is them. Every thought they have, everyone else in the world must as well. Now this obviously is not everyone. Just the majority it seems.

What’s your strongest sense?

As long as I haven’t burnt my tongue, I think that my taste is probably my strongest sense (I’m assuming we’re talking about the 5 senses here) As soon as I start eating I usually can taste a lot in it, including that special taste of “I really need to stop eating this”lol

Which of Snow White’s 7 dwarfs describes you best? (Doc, Happy, Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Grumpy, Dopey)

It’s probably somewhere between Happy and Bashful. It honestly depends on how well you know me, if I don’t know you very well, I would probably be more bashful. I’m still happy, but I am definitely a lot more shy. If you know me well I would probably be a lot more happier.

If you could be one age for the rest of your life, what age would that be?

I probably would have stayed 30, but as long as I get to keep the people that I have in my life right now, and the people who are not apart of it now, still aren’t apart of it. That year that I turned 30 was probably my best year ever and I constantly wish that I could relive it. It seemed like once I turned 31 everything started to feel more frustrating, my body just started breaking up/down and I was getting nowhere with getting a library job. If I could just be 30 now with everything that I have in my life now, I’d be so happy.

You’ve got a great personality, kiddo

12. A personality trait you really like

*I’m just going to let you all know that this post is going to make me sound incredibly “up myself”

I guess in myself I have, which surprises me a lot, is “common sense” and I didn’t know what a great personality treat this is, until nearly everybody I know signed onto Facebook. One of the great things about having common sense is great at being able to lie back and have others make themselves look like a fool. They just don’t “get it”. A good example of this is when people say “Ban Sharia Law”…Because it’s already banned, you can’t ban what’s already banned…Unless you can double banned something?

It can be frustrating to get this and to watch others who clearly don’t have it. However, having this trait makes me feel incredibly lucky for what I do have. A lot of people who don’t seem to have it, just seem angry. They waste a lot of time fighting things that are just not important and aren’t even happening, rather than things that are happening. I honestly believe it is because they just don’t have common sense, so everything little thing is just “wrong” too them. Take the “banning sharia law” Why are you wasting so much time fighting somethings that’s just banned already? Why aren’t you fighting for things that are banned as well but shouldn’t be, like equality for gay marriage in Australia.

So, I guess it’s a personality trait that I like in myself and like in others well.

Do you prefer eating foods with nuts or no nuts?

It depends on the dish! Sometimes having nuts can give the dish a different, crispy feel. I think they are great in things like salads, but not so great in something like soup.

If someone made a movie of your life would it be a drama, a comedy, a romantic-comedy, action film, or science fiction?

Mine would probably be a romantic-comedy. Which is funny because I don’t actually like those, but it makes the most sense for a film for me, I’ve dated some real funny ones, but ended up with the best!

Who talks real sense to you?

My Grandmother, she such a non nonsense type person, she also really gets me as well. She knows what I’m capable of and what I’m not. When I’m ready to listen and when I’m not.

Do you have a favorite board game?

My favourite board game is probably Monopoly. I usually am not a huge game board player, because I don’t like sitting around for too long. One of the reasons I like Monopoly is because you can have a few people playing, so it’s a bit more interactive.

When does something become unproductive?

*long post incoming*

I’m not even sure how to approach this without offending someone, but it’s kind of the point of this post…Sort of? Let me get to the point. 2016 has definitely brought into my life terms I had never honestly heard of before and I respect them and what they are supposed to stand for. It’s not okay to make fun or mock a cultural. BLM needs to be something we all stand with. You don’t blame the victims of anything, rape, domestic violence, you just don’t do it. There are just things, in my mind, that make sense.

I have noticed a trend though, where some terms like ignorant, which is probably the one I’ve noticed is just thrown around, when you don’t agree with someone. Rather than that person actually be ingorant. Or people on Instagram, for a good example, how they take an image and instead of reading anything, they make a judgement call and they’re usually wrong. I follow Calista the pit-bull. She is a rescue dog, probably the cutest pit-bull you will ever see. Full of love…See her profile here: https://www.instagram.com/calistathepitbull/ …

You may notice she has no ear flaps. This is usually because the dog fighters want the dogs to look more fierce. Even though Calista’s current owners are not the dog fighters, and have an explanation of Calista and what happened to her in the info and nearly every single picture mentions what happened to Calista. They still get death threats and called animals abusers.

Or the comment where someone said “Even if one person is offended by something, you shouldn’t trigger them” How does that even work, it’s just not practical. What if the thing they’re offended by is actually “offensive”. I was recently called ignorant because I would not say that Nefertiti was out in the sun all day building the pyramids with the slaves. Just to prove a point, that we don’t even know if it’s the truth or not. All because someone dressed like Nefertiti and she looked extremely similiar to the well-known bust of the Queen. Some call it a “fake bust” because they think she didn’t look like that, even though we don’t actually know. Her body has never been found, although earlier this year, they think they’ve found her, but haven’t yet found her. So we STILL don’t know, people were getting nasty about it.

Or those women who constantly have to jump all over the topic of violence towards men, just to say “It happens more to women”. So what? We should just ignore it? Honestly, I don’t care if you’re a man or a women, if you’re hurting a child, I really don’t care what your gender is.

My point in this is that people just throwing words around, just because someone doesn’t agree with them, or these knee-jerk reactions. Distracts from the topic and the causes that we should be discussing. Most of the time, I would even say 90% of the time when these things happens. I’ve noticed that people tend to take more of their time fighting about these insignificant things, rather than discussing the topic, or even bothering  to find out more and that’s the problem I have with it.

People think they’re opinions are fact, and that’s it.

For example, you might have heard of the show called “The Block”, there was an uproar when one of the contestants did the black streaks across the cheeks, in jest, but usually represents war face-paint. On the same day a report came out about the shocking number of Indigenous Australian women and children that were being killed by their partners, at an alarming rate. Guess which one most people heard about and got upset about? As the tv show host said “It is dangerous, because you are literally taking the focus off of lives lost, for something in the grand scheme of things, is just not that important.”. THAT is what worries me too.

I feel like I have to say as well, I am NOT in anyway trying to demean or make violence against seem women seem less. To me though, trying make violence against men seem less is not okay either. If you’re hurting children, I really don’t care what your gender is.

Deadpool vs Zoolander 2

In the last week I have seen both Deadpool and Zoolander and it’s amazing how vastly different the two movies are. Zoolander 2 is one of those movies that has it’s bits, but there are others that just run on and on and I’m not sure who made the decision that it was…well I think they thought it was funny? Deadpool though was amazing when it came to timing. None of the jokes run to long and it kept going, there was a nice flow and it all made sense.

I was disappointed in the Zoolander movie, just because I loved the original so much and I know that there’s the whole the sequels are never as good as the originals, but I really wanted this to be good. Deadpool was just amazing. If there is a sequel (which I believe there will be) I have a feeling it will be good.

It seems kind of harsh to judge these two movies at the same time, even though they are different types of movies. However, I put them together because these are two huge movies of the moment. It doesn’t shock me though that Deadpool is doing so much better than Zoolander 2. I just wish that whoever put the whole Zoolander film together really watched it all together.

Also one of the clear differences was that Zoolander is definitely more “child-friendly” than Deadpool. Here in Australia the rating for Deadpool in only MA15+. Which means children can see it if accompanied by a parent. However, I was shocked by the amount of parents who brought their children into see Deadpool, because I wouldn’t. During the movie I got uncomfortable knowing that there were children in there. It’s not even the sexual scenes, it’s a little gory and there are a few intense scenes.
