Rude (haha)

I don’t know if I told you all about this, I think that I did. I have an Aunt, who means well, but she does not approve of homosexuality or that I stand with trans people. She’s…Catholic? I can’t remember which one honestly. When she doesn’t approve of something, she sends you a Bible with a little message about how she reads this book when she lost.

Recently, she sent one to me. Because of my trying to help trans people. I laughed at the time, and still do. I just got peeved with one little quote.

It went something along the lines of. It doesn’t matter how much kindness you give, how much you may help others. Without God, it’s all pointless.

Basically, even if you manage to bring world peace. If you don’t believe in God, it’s worthless?

I’m sorry, I don’t have an issue with Religion. But that is totally bullshit.

World Heritage Day

This year it just happened to fall on Easter Monday!

The International Day For Monuments and Sites.

The day is observed to raise awareness about the cultural heritage that we see around us. It is also aimed at promoting historical monuments and sites through which we can actually preserve the cultural integrity of a community as well.

If you click on this link, it will take you to the UNESCO World Heritage List. There are 1154″properites”, funny, I thought that there would have been more than that. It’s even got a little legend key on the side there.

Do you have any World Heritage Sites that you would love to visit, or maybe you already have?

I do want to see all the ones on this last. Planetware.com – 18 Top World Heritage Sites. I really do want to see the Pyramids and the Sphynx, but everyone I know whose gone there. Gets HORRIBLE stomach bugs and it does put me off. Today, these giant monuments are the sole surviving member of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Quiet honestly, the others aren’t doing so bad. I believe they mean, like Stonehenge that’s doing alright. I just don’t know if it was ever included in the Ancient Seven?

I would LOVE to visit Athens though. That is like my ultimate place. It was Disney, but you know, I think Athens Greece would much more enlightening to me. I love Ancient Greece so much, all the Gods and Goddesses, so much more human, the stories. I do feel like you’d need a good week there…One day…

Wicked Games

I think that I’ve mentioned this before, but I don’t mind Religion. In the right hands, it’s actually really great! In the wrong hands however…

My Aunt…

lol…

I’m sure she means well and just doesn’t want us to go to Hell, but the way she goes about it is…Different.

So you all know how I like to fight for trans people, right? Well my mum told me that I got a package from my Aunt, and my mum thought it was a Bible. I was sitting there thinking “What did I do?”lol

Mum had to mention the “trans things” lol…I said “let’s take it for now that it’s about Travie”.

When I opened it, it wasn’t quiet a Bible. As my Aunt wrote a “lots of sayings to bring me back to God. That she uses when she’s lost” … I had a little bit of a giggle, I still think that it’s about me fighting with/for trans people. However, when I wrote to her. I thanked her for sending it too me, I had been very lost since we lost Travie (insert me cracking up laughing here). They were very lovely passages and they should help me with the lost of Travie, hehe

I am like 100% sure Travie wouldn’t have minded. I wrote that to her nearly a week ago, still no word, lol … I don’t think she thought of that, lol.

She sent one to my cousin, when he came out as gay. No idea about my brother, he wouldn’t tell us and blow it off. The thing is, my Aunt, that family, are absolutely lovely, except for this one little thing. My Uncle had a breakdown a few years ago, because of my Gran (his mum), his sister (my mum) and I, all doing Reiki and Tarot.

I don’t know what our Prime Minister is doing

I don’t even know where to begin with our Prime Minister of Australia. I think he think’s, he’s a mini Trump or something?

He put forward a Religious Discrimination Bill, which short wise means, Religions get extra protection against discrimination (mainly Christian/Catholic)? Like, I don’t even know what the problem is. He came out saying that basically the LGBTQIA community don’t have to worry, this isn’t about them. It’s just adding extra protection to Religions…

Everyone was like …

Wha …

We already have Laws and Rules in place about Discrimination. You already cannot discriminate against someone because of their Religion.

Most Religions are multi-billion industries. I will call them that, they also got extra payments from the Australian Government during COVID. Some Churches were getting hundreds, thousands when there was only one or two people there. Since, just like other first world Countries, Religions don’t get taxed. The public were miffed.

Now this…I’m not exactly sure what the problem is?

In fact…

I never expected to lose,’ Catholic Cardinal Pell, who was jailed on sex abuse and then freed, tells Tribune

It makes me feel ill.

But our PM is talking about Australia, like we’re America. It’s just really odd. I know that Morrison clearly admired Trump, but we’re not America. It’s been really odd here in Australia lately, we have literally had anti-vaxxers hold up signs that talk about the 14th Amendments. We don’t have a Bill of Rights, or Amendments or a Constitution … You know something, I’m really glad about that.

Also like Trump, Morrison wants to hold social media companies liable for basically the gaslighting, that they, are in fact, doing themselves.

‘Not correct’ that robodebt caused suicides, former head of Human Services says … There have in FACT been suicides over Robodebt.

Ruby Princess coronavirus inquiry slams ‘inexcusable’ mistakes made by NSW Health

Failings that led to one of Australia’s largest coronavirus outbreaks have been laid bare, with the release of the final report from an inquiry into the ill-fated voyages of the cruise ship.

“It is inappropriate and unhelpful to make recommendations to experts that in truth amount to no more than ‘do your job’,” Commissioner Bret Walker SC said in his report.

At least 28 deaths and 662 coronavirus cases were linked to the Ruby Princess

Guess who allowed this Cruise Ship into Australia?

Thursday Theories – The 10 Commandments…Court Room or not?

This post was inspired, after reading a friends post on Facebook, about anti-vaxers of all things. This guy wrote a really relevant point about how it’s because of anti-vaxers and anti-maskers that we’re all in the position we’re in. How throughout History people have always complained about the Government “controlling” us. He even mentioned about how in the 80’s there was a article of a man who got a ticket and he was complaining about how the Government was trying to control them. The reason for the ticket? He wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.

Someone agreed with everything he said, except that they thought the 10 Commandments should be in a courtroom.

What are the 10 commandments?

  • I am the Lord thy God: thou shalt not have strange Gods before me
  • Thou shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain
  • Remember to keep holy the Lord’s Day
  • Honour thy father and thy mother
  • Thou shalt not kill
  • Thou shalt not commit adultery
  • Thou shalt not steal
  • Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour
  • Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife
  • Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s goods

As you can probably tell, after reading through that last. Only three of them are actual crimes. I do include:

Thou shalt no bear false witness against they neighbour.

Only because you can take that as perjury, which is a crime. So not even half of the commandments are even a crime. These would have only been Christian crimes, back in the day. They are not necessarily other Religions “Laws” or Commandments. I believe that someone people don’t even have to swear on the Bible, if it’s not part of their Religion or Belief system. I think it’s called “Affirming” rather than swearing a Oath.

Believe it or not, I actually have no issues with Religion, or Beliefs, in theory. Most of them are all about loving. And just loving your God or Jesus, or your Deity…Except for the Ancient Greek and Rome, but then they (I believe) were trying to make the Gods and Goddesses “relatable”.

We live in a Multicultural society, whether some people want to accept that or not. It’s not all about the Christian God.

At this point in History, I am nearly done with Christianity…A rant…

On a major world scale, what good has it done?lol

I am so tired with Christianity’s bigotry’s and hypocrisy. I just found out this week that Hillsong, received Jobkeeper.

On 30 March 2020, the Federal Government announced the introduction of the JobKeeper Payment. The payment is a wage subsidy paid by the Government to businesses significantly impacted by the Coronavirus. This allows employers to continue paying their employees whether they are able to work or not.

Churches, religious groups received millions of dollars in JobKeeper while staying in the black, accounts show

“When the government first introduced JobKeeper at the beginning of the pandemic, they explained that this was to keep workers to their employers so that when things got better people would still have their jobs to go back to,” he said. “I’m not sure that there was really much risk that churches would have gone around sacking their priests, or pastors, or mosques would go around sacking imams.”

The Christian Organisations that applied for JobKeeper actually had surpluses in the millions, not including jobkeeper.

Legally they can keep it, morally they should not.

You know who didn’t apply for jobkeeper, and actually kept working for the public during COVID?

Sikhs.

Muslim people feed people

And Hillsong whined … Hillsong founder Brian Houston blasts ‘inconsistent’ coronavirus church rules and still took tax payers money

How many Wars have been fought in “Gods” name?

Anti-Abortion Violence

Righteous Gentiles of the Holocaust: Genocide and Moral Obligation 2nd Revised ed. Edition by David P. Gushee  (Author)

Or go to the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, which is right next door to the grand old Westerkerk. This lovely church’s bells chimed the hour while Anne and her desperate family were hiding out from baptized Christians who were trying to catch and kill them. Anne wrote about those bells in her diary. But they didn’t save her when Dutch and German policemen took her and her family away and sent them off to death.

My dissertation was on Christians who rescued Jews during the Holocaust, and the basic finding is that there were precious few of them. Jews were murdered in Christian Europe — after 1600 years of being a marginalized, often persecuted minority — largely to the deafening sound of Christian apathy and indifference and sometimes with explicit and religiously grounded Christian support. Today the casual visitor to Europe would never know that for centuries it was the largest Jewish population center in the world. Jews certainly remember.

Thursday Theories – Trans “Ideology”

This is probably one of the last times I am going to talk about this. Because all too often “people” call being trans a “ideology”. This same people are normally always from a Religion … which makes me

Also, it is very EASY and simple to find out about trans History. It’s not that difficult. So either, you don’t want to know because you love being a bigot, or you just really don’t care what trans people have to go through.

Literally the first time I wanted to learn, so I went to Google and put in trans, History.

There is no excuse under the sun, to NOT go and have a look. IF you care, if you don’t care. Then yeah, maybe MTG is a reliable “source” Also though…No.

So here as some Facts:

We’ll start with where the term comes from.

1897 – Dr. Magnus Hirschfeld founds the first gay liberation organization in Germany: the Scientific Humanitarian Committee.

1907 – Magnus Hirschfeld is introduced to Harry Benjamin.

1910 – Magnus Hirschfeld coins the terms ‘transvestite’ and ‘transsexual’.

1919 – Magnus Hirschfeld becomes one of sexology’s founding fathers when he opens the world’s first sexological institute, the Institute for Sexual Science in Berlin. It becomes the first clinic to serve transgender people on a regular basis.

1949 – Harry Benjamin begins to treat transgender individuals in San Francisco with hormones.

1)The Gala (Sumerian: 𒍑𒆪 galaAkkadiankalû) were priests of the Sumerian goddess Inanna. They made up a significant number of the personnel of both temples and palaces, the central institutions of Mesopotamian city states. These were thought in modern times to have been individuals with neither male nor female gender identities.  In addition, some gala priests were women.

2) Because the galli castrated themselves and wore women’s clothing, accessories and makeup, some modern scholars have interpreted them as transgender.[Firmicus Maternus said “they say they are not men… they want to pass as women.” He elaborated, “Animated by some sort of reverential feeling, they actually have made this element [air] into a woman [Caelestis, the goddess]. For, because air is an intermediary between sea and sky, they honor it through priests who have womanish voices.”

3) Roman emperor Elagabalus (d. 222) preferred to be called a lady (rather than a lord), sought sex reassignment surgery, and has been seen as an early trans figure

4) Today, at least half a million hijras live in India and another half million in Bangladesh, legally recognized as a third gender, and many trans people are accepted in Thailand. In Arabia, khanith today (like earlier mukhannathun) fulfill a third gender role attested since the 600s. In Africa, many societies have traditional roles for trans women and trans men, some of which survive in the modern era amid recent widespread hostility. In the Americas prior to European colonization, as well as in some contemporary North American Indigenous cultures, there are social and ceremonial roles for third gender people, or those whose gender expression transforms, such as the Navajo nádleehi or the Zuni lhamana.

5) In colonial America, Thomas(ine) Hall in the 1600s adopted clothes and roles of both men and women, while in 1776 the genderless Public Universal Friend arose.

Trans people have literally been in EVERY SINGLE CULTURE. Including those who knew nothing about the other cultures. Does that REALLY sound a ideology? Its not like Christianity, where certain Cultures and certain races of people embraced it and then ENFORCED it on others. In NO culture though, have they even been close to the majority. Just like the LGB community, they are not the majority.

WHAT IS TRANS HISTORY? From Activist and Academic Roots, a Field Takes Shape : Kritika Agarwal | May 1, 2018

So to the Christians, and any other Religions that persecute and harass trans people. If your Gods makes no mistakes, why would YOU call trans people a mistake? Maybe trans people are here to TEACH YOU a lesson? For once, it might actually be about you, lol. But you’re learning all the wrong lessons.

It’s perfectly fine to not understand. What is not fine is to just dismiss trans people, despite trans people being around before your “perfect, who makes no mistakes” creator. Especially when you have all this information at your fingertips. There’s no excuse for bigotry in the day and age, it’s just lazy, quiet frankly.

The Science behind the Trans brain

Is actually quiet new. The Nazi’s actually burnt down the first ever LGBT Science center, and a lot of the research was burned with it. (See above).

The Search for a ‘Cause’ of Transness Is Misguided : By Nat Mulkey on March 23, 2021: Scientific America

Most of the investigation into the biological basis of transness has been in the field of neuroscience. Postmortem studies conducted by Dick Swaab of the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience suggested multiple differences in brain structure between transgender and cisgender individuals. These differences seem to indicate that transgender that transgender women and men have brain structures more similar to the brains of cisgender individuals of the same gender identity than cisgender individuals of the gender they were assigned at birth.

More recently, the field has moved from postmortem brain analysis to functional MRI studies. Cisgender men and women have previously been shown to have different brain areas engaged during a spatial-reasoning task. This research team found that both cisgender boys and transgender boys (assigned female at birth and on pubertal suppression therapy) had similar activation patterns during the task, compared to cisgender girls.

An individual should not need to justify their gender identity any more than someone would need to justify their eye color.

Gene variants provide insight into brain, body incongruence in transgender

Date:February 5, 2020

Summary: Some of the first biological evidence of the incongruence transgender individuals experience, because their brain indicates they are one sex and their body another, may have been found in estrogen receptor pathways in the brain of 30 transgender individuals.

Transgender brains are more like their desired gender from an early age

Date:May 24, 2018

Source: European Society of Endocrinology

Summary: Brain activity and structure in transgender adolescents more closely resembles the typical activation patterns of their desired gender, according to new research. The findings suggest that differences in brain function may occur early in development and that brain imaging may be a useful tool for earlier identification of transgenderism in young people.

As you can see, there is more to trans people than what MTG “opinion” of them is.

Do I have to do this again?

The only thing that’s new is the term “trans” itself, that doesn’t mean though they just didn’t exist before then.

Thursday Theories – God: Pro-Choice or Pro-Life?

Nothing like a good controversial blog post on your Friday mornings, hehe

Funny thing is too me, it’s not really that controversial, as it’s not really that difficult to see where God stands on the matter. I can show you in just TWO bible quotations.

Hosea 13:16

ESV – 16 Samaria shall bear her guilt, because she has rebelled against her God; they shall fall by the sword; their little ones shall be dashed in pieces, and their pregnant women ripped open.

And the other is…

Psalm 127:3

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.

I think it’s pretty obvious, don’t you?

For those who are not getting the obvious. God, is pro-choice. God himself choose who shall be rewarded with a child and who shall have fetuses ripped from their wombs. God “invented” not only abortions, but also pro-choice.

It just hit me the other day. I was dealing with a pro-life person and was using the usual quotes I use from the Bible. You can’t deny though, that he does give and take unborn lives. So, he makes a choice. Am I right, or am I right? lol

Want a free ride to “Heaven”

Just ask to be absolved of your sins, before you die. Apparently that’s why we all rejoiced the death of Rush Limbaugh, because we’re all jealous that he’s in Heaven and we’re not.

Seriously, is he’s up there…I’d rather be in Hell …

This is what bugs me about that kind of sentiment. If someone like Rush Limbaugh has a “free pass” to Heaven, why wouldn’t just as horrible people be there too? Why would anyone want to go to Heaven, when people like him are there? No punishment, nothing, just come on in!

At the best I thought maybe someone like him would be doing purgatory.

I’m not Religious, but it makes me feel depressed that someone like him gets to go, no punishment. He just gets to head on up there and share the space with the people he has harmed over his entire life. Just makes me feel so angry and “what’s the point”? If you can be a horrible person, be some of the worst scum on the earth, and then just go to Heaven. What’s the point of Heaven? Why should we be good people here, when all you need to say, at the end of your life is “absolve me” and that’s it.

Religion and Succinct

I will start by saying Religion, I don’t mind it. I just don’t like when those who use it to discriminate and spread hate.

One of my friends on Facebook, has someone “woe is me” because Biden is a Catholic, that is pro-choice. Somehow that means, America is going to be worst off with a pro-choice POTUS. Because America is doing so well with a “pro-life” POTUS.

COVID Deaths are at 365K+.

4 people died in the Capital Hill “take over”…Wait…5 now.

Trump told the people who just walked into Capital Hill “We Love You”.

Now I know that Trump Supporters aren’t the best thinkers in the world. One of the questions she asked me if it’s supposed to be Religion and State separated, why does abortion always come up at election time. Well, because you keep bringing it up?

Then when she brought up the “Thou shalt not kill”. I asked one) if she wants to follow the commandments, why support Trump? lol. But also two) God kills a lot of people in the Bible, including babies.

This is where Religions like Christianity and Catholicism loses me, there are a lot of inconsistencies.

Not with all people, but just those who are like must follow Jesus, Trump Supporters. Except they don’t follow the teachings.
