How do you feel about online anonymity? Do you believe that when people are hiding their real world identity, it encourages them to misbehave or to be offensive? Or does it allow people to reveal who they really are or possibly how they would choose to be and act all the time if they could?
I thought that I would have a crack at this one, because it is a huge topic right. Even Elon Musk is trying to back out of the Twitter deal since they wont really confirm how many Twitter accounts are in fact “real” and are not bots.
Personally I am very open type person, I have not had the experience of someone trying to steal my identity or anything like that, so I am sure that would change how I did things, if I did. I am pretty careful though. I don’t use my phone for banking, while I use different passwords to everything really. I have tricks in my head to remember which one is which.
Saying all of that though, I know a lot of the trans community who keep an online anonymity for really good reasons. At some point each of the big and out there trans accounts have all been doxed. They’ve had their work places rang, luckily most businesses are fine with them. There have been cases on out there cis trans ally accounts, who have had some big name TERFs show up to their places of work and they were harassed there.
But then, a lot of transphobic people, especially not the big names one, are also anon. For VERY different reasons though. I suspect that a lot of them know very well what they’re doing.
Since Dragon Appreciation Day is on the weekend, what a better time to have a little post about Dragons.

Last year Komodo Dragons and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), a global authority that this weekend released its latest Red List of threatened species. The list, which included the evaluation of more than 138,000 species, shifted the status of the Komodo dragon from vulnerable to endangered.
Rising sea levels caused by hotter temperatures melting ice and expanding oceans will reduce the dragon’s habitat on Komodo and neighbouring remote islands by at least 30 per cent in the next 45 years, the IUCN said at its World Conservation Congress gathering in the French city of Marseille.

I know that none of you are on my Facebook (it’s Lauren Boltron Bolton) by the way. However, I have decided at this time, to not post on their anymore. The only people I really hear from are from people I never hear from to tell how wrong they think I am. Or people who liked everything I post. Which is completely fine, but I can keep liking and commenting on their posts anyway.
I think what “annoys me” is that these are people I know in “real life”. Yet, I don’t think they know the first thing about me…Maybe it’s a South Australia thing? None of these people know about my blog, my streaming, my “other” Instagram book account. Which you all know about. I just feel like there is no reason to “be” on there anymore. I don’t really get that much fulfillment out of FB anyway.
My mum and I were just talking about it last night, and she was saying how she knows there are couple of people she can stay friends with. Mainly because, one of them, their partner had a bad reaction to the Astra vaccine, but her friend is still going to get the second dose anyway. Even though, she has a really good reason to be afraid, she’s sensible enough to realise, that just because her husband had a bad reaction, didn’t mean she did.
I said to my mum, I’ve got a couple of friends like that, but we all suffer from bad anxiety issues, lol. So it’s hard to meet up with them. The rest though. I’ve lost a lot of respect for quiet a few, and not all to do with COVID. Some, even though they’ve been in Australia since the 70’s/80’s, they’re still strong Monarchist’s. The Monarchy can do wrong. Meghans the devil. Not just “Hate” Meghan, but full on “I’m British, I know how the system works, she’s lying”.
One) You’ve lived in Australia since the 70’s.
Two) You’re not and have never been part of the Royal Family, or it’s “systems”.
Three) The place you do actually work in, you know how it works and that’s why you know it’s not working. On the outside you have to pretend that everything “works” where you work. Apart from the Royal Family, NONE, of us “know how the system works”.
The problem with the State I’m in, it’s not a big city. We were the first freely settled colony in Australia (meaning we weren’t settled by criminals, but “free people). We’re the third most livable city in the world. But the people…lol. Once you’re in a group, you’re in it. Think six degrees of Kevin Bacon. You can go with another group, but you have a high chance of bumping into the other people. As some “bitches” have realised. Too not really bump into people you know, you have to live on opposite sides of the state.
I was writing a post on Facebook and I started to think about how “real” are we on Facebook, or indeed, any social platform. In all honestly, WordPress is where I am the most myself. I don’t trust social media platforms and I don’t trust people on them. It’s why I stopped changing my profile picture once a month on FB. It’s why I stopped telling people when I’m travelling on Facebook. It’s why I’ll say I’m going to see a movie, but wont tell people what I thought.
I have learnt over my years, there’s no point. The only point is to do it so people you can trust, know what’s going on with you.
How many times have you and yourself going to post something on a social media platform (WordPress doesn’t count), and then decided against it? I find myself doing that more and more these days. And I am perfectly fine with this.
I guess it’s not necessarily about being “real”, but how much of yourself are you willing to put out into the public.
Could the world of Atlantis, actually be based on a real place? Like a lot of Myths and Legends, every Myth and Legend are usually based on a person, or a real event. So where could Atlantis possibly be then?

Who was Plato?
Plato was an Athenian philosopher during the Classical period in Ancient Greece, founder of the Platonist school of thought and the Academy, the first institution of higher learning in the Western world.
What’s the connection between Atlantis and Plato?
Plato’s writing are the writings that most people and explorers used to try and find the world of Atlantis. They’ve all believed that Atlantis must be based on a real place. With modern technology, they’ve gone and taken a look into it. So what if Atlantis a real place?!
Isn’t modern technology brilliant!
There’s a program, where you can scan text (so Plato’s writings), and from that look up any algorithms of places that come from Atlantis. So this machine can match any similar features from Plato’s writing too features from places on Earth. So there is one place on Earth that would have been a active civilizations around that time and had at least 51 specific features to Plato’s writings about Atlantis.
The region is about 200 meters by 200 meters. It’s in Morocco and the little place is called Souss Massa . Around the time, about 12,000 years ago, the desert that is and sand that is now known to be there. Would have been, thanks to soil exploration. It would have been completely different. It would have been a green Sahara and full of fertile plains.
What about the water though?
Well, the sad thing about this area is that it actually called a “red zone”. What’s a red zone. Meaning no one’s allowed to visit there. Which of course means that people wanting to visit the potential “Atlantis” can not go. This is because the spot is rife with beheadings, kidnappings…Scary stuff!
So what did they do then? They literally took to the skies! They used space satellites to track over the land. Guess what they found!
They found a place where water USED to be 25 miles in diameter. There would have been a water, but with a volcanic plug underneath, with possible rings of water. I believe it would have been called a “pyle lake” or “pile lake” (I am still trying to figure out how to spell that. If anyone please put it into the comments!). It is also known as Richat Structure
At first they didn’t think they saw anything…However! … After they looked more closer, they could see shapes that looked like temple and housing structures, as well as large animal pens. Animal pens that they believe would have been big enough to suggest that it was a town, where people would place their animals in these pens for a night or two.
Again though, because it is a red zone. It means that people cannot get out there to explore it further. So who knows, what else could be there waiting to be discovered! Could that volcanic plug exploded one day? Sinking the villages, the people into the ground?
I was thinking about how some people out there, mainly your Conservative Christians or Conservative Religious people. How one of their complaints about trans people is that “God didn’t make a mistake, so stop trying to change your sex”. Now as we all know trans gender people know they can’t actually change sex. (Although with Science this is not actually that far off).
Whose saying though that God made a “mistake”? Apparently God doesn’t make mistakes? And who are they to question whether or not God made a mistake?
The same people who say to others to stop changing their bodies, because God doesn’t make mistakes. Are also the same people who:
Want surgeries done on intersex infants
Bleach their hair, change their hair
Straighten their teeth
By glasses and contact lenses
Don’t stop (and sometimes get some themselves) people from cosmetic surgeries.
In your opinion, what’s the closest thing to real magic?
Nature. Just Nature itself. The birds, the bees…the planet. Am I completely lame?lol…Watching the clouds go by, keeping an eye on them, seeing if they’re “normal” clouds or “rain” clouds. Watching a bee push it’s way into flower. Watching a bee go after the only plant in the whole backyard, a weed. So now I’ve gone out and bought plants. Watching the birds swoop my cat,lol. Telling him to stay away, and rightly so! Watching a humpback whale come out of the sea. Nature is magic =D

Where is the worst smelling place you’ve been?
I haven’t actually been there, more like we’d drive past it. My cousins used to live near a mushroom farm! You didn’t even have to go in to the place to smell it, just needed to be the right temperature and the right wind…Smelly!
What are some things that you’ve heard in your own life, which sounded like compliments but were actually insults?
Oh, my brother is really good at this. I am not so good at it, or cannot always tell when it’s happening too me.

What this couple did was, get so upset by seeing the letters BLM on a road. They decided to take it upon themselves, to paint out these letters. What is HILARIOUS about this situation though, I was arguing with someone by the name of Brandon Straka Founder of “Walk Away”. The reasoning for his “side”? Us Liberals got all upset over a noose, that wasn’t a noose in the end. We were the snowflakes for getting upset about something, at the time, which looked like a noose (Bubba Wallace). Yet, the post we were on, was about two white people getting so offended by letters. That they took it upon themselves, to get paint and paint over said letters in the middle of a road. Not the noose situation. According to Brandon Straka, what these two “people” did was compassionate and morals, something someone like Liberals would never understand.
It was funny as well, because I was thinking to myself. If they didn’t get permission to do that, which I really doubted at the time they had. They were going to get into trouble…And they did! I didn’t expect the hate crime, but I did expect the vandalism.
Brandon is not a nice person. There was a Trump supporter, who was surprised that Brandon was commending it, as Brandon, is also the first to point out about the statues. The TS said “If we are having a go and telling people off for vandalising, then we need to hold ourselves to the same standards” Brandon called him “mentally ill”. All these other TS’s came to Jeff’s defence, because Jeff is actually right. Brandon didn’t “read Jeff” right. As I pointed out though, Brandon read what Jeff wrote, perfectly fine. In case they hadn’t noticed, anyone who doesn’t agree with Brandon Starka is just automatically “mentally ill”. Like I said to Jeff “Welcome to the Red Pill…Have Fun!”.

It's making some people very upset. And it should.
I really do detest that term “real women” or “real man” or “genuine girl” or “genuine guy”. It’s one of my biggest pet peeves. My body is as real as yours, as Chris Hemsworth, as Kate Moss’s…I wish it was more like Megan Gales, but my body is still as real as hers too! Your body is YOURS! I do believe it is harder to stay fitter in this day and age, everything is sprayed or mixed with some chemical or process. When it’s $1 for a burger, but nearly $10 for a pre-made salad. People don’t have the time to spend all day making food, I get it and I don’t,lol.
But every single body is “real”. Abled, disabled, chunky, skinny…We are ALL real. Currently at the moment, I am uncomfortable in my own body. I took off weight during Winter, but I’ve put it back on again. So I’m doing exercises again. I’m never going to dedicated myself the way Megan Gale does, but both of our bodies are still REAL. We’re not living in an alternate reality.
I guess this wasn’t necessarily about my body, but about bodies in general,lol.
