How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are? 

This such an interesting question. Mainly because how often do we all feel like we are not who we are? Sometimes and in some situations, I feel older than my age. Then other situations I feel about 5 (Beauty and the Beast coming out, being one of those moments). A lot of people think that I’m about in my early 20’s. I think this is too do with just my laidback type nature. Being happy makes me seem younger I suppose. So I would have to say if I didn’t know me, I’d probably think I was in my early 20s as well.

So, you’re on your way out and it’s raining. Do you know where your umbrella is or do you frantically search for it all over your apartment/house?

I know where one of my umbrellas is and it’s kind of cool. My mum gave my brother and I each for Christmas. That might sound like a weird gift, but the umbrellas are a bit different. There not as easily ripped, it’s hard to describe them without seeing them, but they are good quality umbrellas.

Do you recharge your energy by going out with friends for a good time or by spending with quiet time alone?

Time alone…Time alone always…I have been waiting for nearly months now to have an entire night to myself. It’s interesting, I don’t work full time, but I go to work all the time and haven’t had just a week off…From everything. I feel like I need that.

Name three things you and your spouse, partner or best friend  to have in common.

• We can be together in silence, but still together.
• We have a similar sense of humour, we know when to not take to each other too seriously.
• We are both terrible procrastinators.

Are you a traveler or a homebody? 

I am definitely a homebody, I enjoy being in my little home. However, I do travel interstate a couple of times a year and I really appreciate the time I have there. I’m always fully booked when I travel. I am one of those people that always seems to need a holiday from my holiday. If I was rich I would probably travel a bit more as well than I do now, and would stay longer. The majority of my time would be spent at home still though.

What kind of TV commercial would you like to make? Describe it.

Oh wow! I’m honest’t sure what commercial I would like to make. I’ve always the perfume/aftershave type commercials were “lame”. So I definitely wouldn’t want to do one of those. Maybe I could do some kind of travel commercial…That doesn’t involved boats!lol

Describe yourself in a word that starts with the first letter of your name.

This is a good one! The first word that honestly popped into my head was “Love” I’m just full of love…Yes, some days are harder than others to love people, and I do say people, people can make it hard to love them. Generally everything I do is coming from a place of love. I do try not to treat people with malice.

List some fun things for a rainy day.

• Reading
• Colouring in
• Cooking/Baking warm food or drinks!
• Listening to the radio
• Watching comedies
• I love to clean out my room on those days, get rid of old things and junk.

Here comes the rain again! = Big Cat Week (18/9-25/9)

For those who are regular readers of my Blog, you will know that I am obsessed with a particular Ustream tv program called “Wildearth Safari” or if you follow Twitter “#SafariLive”. I’ve been watching it for a couple of years or so now. You might have even watched it during Big Cat Week over the last couple of years, as during that week they put the drive live on television.

The last few months have been hard for the animals there, mainly the grass eater/prey type food. There has been a really bad drought and the last month in particular, you can tell how rough it has been getting. A lot of the predators have not even been hunting to much as the prey has been succumbing to the drought.

Coming from a country that also suffers a lot from droughts, I think it’s the only time I love hearing that rain is coming. I have been watching the live feeds with the sound turned up as the rain falls. The animals so desperately need it. It’s been so sad to see them getting worse and worse. Although on the other side the predators have been having an amazing time!

On a completely but kind of related topic…Just to let my American comrades know that this week is “Big Cat Week” on Nat Geo Wild and the drives will be showing. You should take complete advantage of this. I wish we had it here down under.

What is your earliest memory?

My earliest memory is actually a nightmare that I had, I don’t know why it’s stayed with me for so long. I’m more of a, if someone tells me about a memory I’ll remember it, so it’s weird that I can remember a nightmare. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of Mr Squiggle, but I dreamt once that he was trying to kill me. That’s my earliest memory.

What was the last photo you took with your phone?

I could show you … My partners cat cracks me up sometimes.

Have you ever danced in the rain?

When I was little, I used to love doing it. As I got older though, I guess I got less brave and just can’t stop thinking about how cold it is to do and it just didn’t seem as appealing.

What is the longest you have gone without sleep?

It’d have to be about a day, it was the last time that I had an energy drink as well. I could not get to sleep and it was pretty scary. It was weird too because I used to drink them and then stopped for about a year. It was my first one in a year, I just assumed that I’d be alright, but I wasn’t.

Share Your World – 2016 Week 7

What are you a “natural” at doing? 

Apparently I am a natural at reading people. With all my job uncertainty at the moment , I am looking into how to do some of the hobbies I do as a job. I like to do things like Reiki, Tarot reading etc. I’m looking into how I can make money off of that now.

Would you prefer a one floor house or multiple levels?

After what happened to my leg, I never ever want to live in a multiple level house ever again. If you get hurt it is pretty much hell trying to get up all the stairs. Unfortunately living with my Mum at the moment means if my leg plays up again I’m stuck with stairs. Unless I can convince my partner to move in with him.

What was your favorite subject in school?

I LOVED Classical studies. My Classical studies class was made up of Ancient studies, so ancient Greece, Rome, Egypt. All those awesome places.

Complete this sentence: If only the rain.. 

Would fall down on me right now…I’m uncertain at the moment if I’ll even have a job by the end of next week and I really need a good cry. Without worrying all of my family, friends and partners.

  1. “Uptown Funk” Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars…Not matter what, I stop, listen and dance =D
  2. “Wishing you were somehow here again” Phantom of the Opera…Not a happy song, but it reminds me of a couple of people close to me who have passed and it makes me cry.
  3. Anything Celtic, I just love the sounds. There has never been a celtic song that I’ve heard that I hate, the sound is beautiful!
  4. “Heart of Courage” Two Steps from Hell…It’s a really short song, but will fire you up!
• Favorite types of animals
  1. Lions (they have always been a top favourite of mine).
  2. Elephants, since watching the safari drives I have this whole new love for them. They are the cutest!

  4. Dragons! They’re real animals, right?
• Fun things for a rainy day
  1. I LOVE to read
  2. I love playing my computer and catching up on them, or learning new ones.
  3. Sometimes I’ll do spring cleaning on these days.
  4. Sitting in bed and watching movies and having movie marathons.
• Things I want to have in my home (paintings, hot tubs, book cases, big screen tv etc)
  1. I still want one more shelf that can fit even more of my books, but some of my figurines too!
  2. I need a lamp in my room,lol
  3. I want a whole room dedicated to reading and where I can write my Blog, an office type thing
  4. For my dining room area, I would love to have a huge glass window outdoor area, that is connected from the inside to the outside. I have seen beautiful dining rooms that can walk out onto the patio like it’s one big dining area. Just beautiful!
