A little lesson about “mainstream” for the bigots out there.

EVERYTHING in this world, this is accepted NOW. Once had to become mainstream for it be currently accepted as the “norm”.

This isn’t rocket science, it’s simple logic and facts. Like, I can’t believe that I have to write a blog post, because idiots out there don’t understand that we all once, whatever group we’re in currently in now. Had to become mainstream, in order for the world to PROGRESS forward. Except for white men, even saying that though, being white started off as a mutation, did you know that?

When something becomes mainstream, it simply means the MAJORITY of people are now accepting that group. Which IS progression, it IS progressive as a society. Heck, some people out there, including other women, don’t like that it’s become mainstream for women to have a career AND a family.

Mainstream is also representative of the times, and one should look to the younger generation to see what’s “hip and cool” lol. As I mentioned before, even these days, some people thinking that women working and having families isn’t okay. That started to become more mainstream during the War years. When young women, wives and mothers had to start working while the men were away. Before that it was, in fact, mainstream for women to stay at home.

Thursday Theories – If a Alien life exists, that’s older than human life … Would they be progressive?

Would they be more civilized? Would they be smarter and kinder?

Judging by human beings … I say no. You can say yes, but here’s why I think no.

One, Aliens would have to be VERY different from humans, and I don’t mean “Dr Who” Time Lord type “alien”. It’d have to be completely different.

You take a look at current countries, like the UK, like Scotland, like the US, like China, even Afghanistan. These are all countries that have a LONG…LONG…History behind them. Yet, they are probably some of the worst countries “human rights” wise. How, as an example, does the UK, with such a long History behind them, still end up with Boris Johnson? How does in 2021, the UK and Scotland, end up with such rampant racism, transphobia, sexism, hypocrisy in BOTH major parties? HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN!

Like Churchill was a old racist, but at least, he got his people through. Johnson is racist and so is his party, but also he’s not gotten the UK through literally ANYTHING, without it being a complete fiasco.

How does a country like the US, whose entire reason to leave the UK was because they wanted to practice their religions freely and without persecution. All these years later, end up electing people who want their people to be like the people they were escaping in the first place? That’s why the forefathers had the “FORE”-sight “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;”

But then you look at a young country like New Zealand.

Strongly progressive with a lot of modern issues. The amount of people who want to live there, would probably be more than any other country.

So would a older culture than human beings, and possibly older than the Earth, be more progressive? Be kinder? I personally don’t think so, haha. If we judge anything to do with Earth and Human Beings, then no. This is why I’m saying for “aliens” need to be more and completely different than human, to be progressive.

A point of view

I was just thinking about things in the shower after watching an Australian tv program that I really liked. Until they talked about the removal of statues in America, of course it was a whole white panel. Too break it down it sounded like they were saying that people were trying to erase history and they should be used a tools to show far America had come.

First of all the alt-right protesters marched with torches (all be it Tiki torches) AND swastika patches. A symbol that HAS been outlawed in Germany since WW2 over 50 years ago!. Exactly how far has that point of view progressed exactly?

This is my other view of that is Germany has outlawed that symbol and yet, still, in 2017 we are still talking about it. So how does taking down a couple of statues make people forget History? It doesn’t. I know how a lot of people tend to only think about things that have happened to them. So let’s look at this situation this way. Which is nowhere the emotional level, but is a similar way to think about it.

When you break up with someone and you burn everything of theirs, or just get rid of it. Do you stop thinking about them, do you even stop talking about them. I know personally I can have nothing in my life that relates to everything about my ex’s , but I still think about them. I still make jokes with my friends about them. They never truly ever “disappear” just because their stuff has “gone away”. Yet, why would you keep it? Especially those ex’s that were truly horrible? Would you keep things of theirs that are just out there and you go past ALL the time? It’s illegal to promote the swastika symbol, yet have we forgotten it, no we have not.

Put these statues where they belong…In a museum, that does not glorify them for being…well losers…They lost…
