What do you do when you’re not working? If you are retired, what do you that is not part of your regular daytime routine?

I love to play computer games, both on a console and on a pc. I’ve also gotten into mediation recently, it’s really helping me with the anxiety issues. I actually really enjoy taking my dog for a walk, if she’s not involved, I do not enjoy it so much…She’s so cute, because she gets herself so excited, she’s exhausted before we get out the door, lol

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Oh wow, what wouldn’t I do?!lol … I would pay off both my parents mortgage and I would then by myself a nice house, which hopefully I could design from the bottom up, with my own Library. I would also love a beach house, but I’d rent that out during the Winter, lol…Travel would definitely be in the immediate future.  I would love to help as animal sanctuaries/zoo’s/places as I could.

What makes you laugh the most?

Probably my pets too be honest, they’ll do a movement, or a little sound and it’s so silly, it just makes me laugh. I also feel terrible for admitting this but those animal type fail videos, they make me laugh too. I think a lot of it is too do with their reactions after, they look at the camera like they are saying “What”lol

What is your biggest pet peeve with modern technology?

Stupid people have access to it!lol

I have dyslexia!

I’ve known that I’ve had dyslexia for years, but I have learn how to cope and used my “tools” to make me speak English proper =P

I was lucky. I went through the whole of high school feeling extremely stupid and dumb, I could never understand how I had the same ideas as my A+ friends and I was getting by on C’s. I was largely ignored by teachers and my projects/assignments would all say the same things (great ideas, sentence structure wrong). I believe this was because my year had a large amount of students who were incredibly smart.

It wasn’t until I entered my final year of High School that I finally had a teacher who recognised that there was something about the way I structured my sentences, that were just “off”. So he sat with myself and my project and it was the first class and the only high school class I was to have where I would get an “A”.

There was an article recently on Facebook about grammar and how well could you score at this test. There was this woman who thought it was alright to put down people who have ESL (English as a Second Language) who didn’t get full marks….And she’s a teacher…supposedly…Oh the flashbacks! I was SO angry with this woman. Who is she to judge people? She doesn’t know and to call them an “idiot” just because she teaches English as a Second Language. She is the kind of teacher that would have just ignored me and let me struggle through high school.
