What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word “fun”?

Being truly happy, I don’t think that you can have fun unless you really truly feel happy. There was a group of people that I used to get REALLY drunk with and I honestly believed for a while it was because I was happy. Then I started to realised that I was drinking because I was extraordinarily bored with these people, it was the same conversations, the same “cliches” over and over again. Don’t get me wrong I still drink, but I haven’t been “drunk” in a long time and I can definitely go a whole night out without a drink and have way more fun that I used too. I haven’t “needed” to get drunk in a long time.

What is your favorite time of day?

Around about an hour before I go to bed. Now when I say “Go to bed” I generally am in my bed but I’m not going to sleep. I’m either reading or watching some tv before then. It helps to come my mind and if I’m feeling down or something, I can watch a comedy and relax my mind. I cannot watch a horror film before bed,lol

Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want have a evening with?

I’m going to go with an “alive” person, still doesn’t make the choice any easier though,lol … I think though honestly it would have to be Orlando Bloom mainly because I’ve had a crush on him my my whole life. Well it feels like my whole life it seems.

My dog … Every single time, without fail.

The Liebster Award nomination!

So I was nominated by the extremely lovely The Little Blog of Stuff. You should definitely all head over and check her out. It’s a sweet Blog full of reviews, book and very inspiring thoughts! So here are my questions.

1. What is your least favourite food?
Offal food! For anyone who doesn’t know what offal food, there is a good reason that it’s called “Offal Food”. It’s food like internal organs: livers, kidneys…Just to name a few!

2.How did you come up with your blog name?
Well a few probably know that I actually started this Blog as a school assignment. To break it down simply, Lolsy is one of many, many…many nicknames. The studies I was studying at the time was called “Library and Information Services” So it kind of just clocked together perfectly.

3. What is your pet-peeve?
Probably people who spread fear, mainly from seeing something on the Internet and thinking “Well it must be true then!”The other thing that is a new pet peeve of mine, is people who will comment “Who cares?” or “Is this really news”? Get a life! To some people it is interesting and it is news. We can’t be wonderfully perfect like you all the time. If is really something you don’t care about, scroll pass!

4. If, you were to be given a ticket to anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I would go to either Queensland or Disneyworld…I’m not fussed!lol

5. What is your favourite topic of conversation?
I always have a smile when I talk about my Puppy.

6. Which actor/actress would you most likely run away with?
Oh without question, Orlando Bloom, I have had a crush on him for nearly half my life now. He’s just so pretty!

7. Which TV series/ book sequel do you most enjoy?
I think that it might be easier to list which one I least enjoy!

8. Name one thing that you think needs to change in this world.
I really believe that people need to be kinder and just listen to people, like REALLY listen. There’s a saying that goes something along the lines of “People don’t listen with the intent to listen, most people listen with the intent to already reply”….Something like that, but it’s nothing like that,lol.

9. What do you do to unwind?
It depends what’s wrong sometimes, I can read, just lie down for a while, listen to music, have a shower, etc.

10. Do you prefer Apple or Android?
Android! (Ditto)

11. Do you like sneakers or formal shoes?
I just love shoes! How could I ever pick between the two! They are both fantastic for different reasons.

Legolas aka Orlando Bloom!

This week is my ‘birthday week’ so I am posting whatever I want =D This man though I have been in love with him from before I even saw him! This is probably the first time I have ever admitted this publicly other than to a few close female friends. One night I had my first ‘lucid’ dream of a man with beautiful long white hair and even now I still remember everything that happened and all of the details. A few months later I go to see another movie with a girlfriend and I walk past this huge cardboard cut out of my dream man! A dream that I had previously told my friends about. It was one of the most freakiest moments of my life!

I admit though when I heard he was going to be in “The Hobbit” I was sceptical, BUT, I really liked how they have fitted him in. Any-ways some facts about Legolas. Although the character does not feature in the novels, Thranduil does feature. So this is how it was justified to use, he more than likely would have been there.

Leoglas is an elvish  fictional character in J.R.R. Tolkien’s  literature. He is a Sindar Elf of the Woodland Realm. Legolas is also one of the main members of nine in the Fellowship of the Ring. Legolas is the son of Thranduil, King of the Woodland Realm of Northern Mirkwood, there is no mention of Legolas’s mother or if he had any siblings. He was first introduced as a messenger to Elrond of Rivendell to let them know that Gollum has escaped from their holdings. 

As part of the Fellowship of the Ring, Legolas is armed with a bow and arrows and one “long white knife” which hangs by his side. Legolas can see and hear from great distances as well. Another quality is he can walk lightly over tonnes of snow. He also has a killer smile (in the movies)
