I’m going to be that person today =D

Oh yes I am going to be that person today, that person that you just hate, that person you’ll want ‘unfriend”, that person that makes you want to scream “Shuddup! I don’t wanna know!” … Oh yes today I am going to be that person!

I’m only posting this because I had a conversation with my partner and I started to realise how some people don’t even panic. I guess because I’m a natural worrier I plan for Christmas months ahead. When I wasn’t working at the beginning of June I would put something away each fortnight, saving a bit each month. Then at the end of the August I’d start buying presents.

You might be able to guess that I’m a big Christmas person =D

This year has been such a great year for myself, mentally, things would have crushed me a year barely bother me any-more. Although I do have days where I get down, as we all do, I feel that I know have the tools to help myself get through those days…As well as having the “right” people in my life, instead of the ones that are just…there…You know what I mean?

What’s to be done with this Homer Simpson?

I just thought that I’d put this video up because how true is this?! I’m at a point in my life where I can feel that everything is just changing. But what’s to be done? Where does one start? I can’t keep living the life I’ve been living, I am so happy in my romantic relationship and I am enjoying too much just hiding away every single weekend with him, I just can’t keep doing that any- more.

Naturally I am an introvert, but even I have to get out and see people. Unfortunately a lot of people are driving me nuts at the moment, which is why it is easy for me to hideaway.

The other problem is that I have possibly TOO many ideas going on in my head, so many ideas and no idea where I can start with any of it. I would love to do something, possibly using my Blog to sell stuff, start my own fantasy jewellery online shopping. Cosplaying is something I’m looking into, but even with that. Sewing is not my “forte” and I have no idea where to start!

Any help?!

 

Online dating tips

It amazes and saddens me to constantly read in the news and on the television another life wasted after meeting up with someone through a “dating” site. It’s a serious issue as more and more people take the the web to find their future “somebodies”.

Unfortunately not everyone is on these dating sites to find a future somebody. Speaking from some  of the experiences I’ve been told a lot of stories of people who use genuine dating site as a hook up, instead of the sites created to be a hook up site.

So a couple of tips from someone who has actually found her possible future someone online and has also had some interesting stories that she could share with you!

1. Do not go to anybodies house, meet out in a public place and in mutual territory…Especially on the first date!
2. Meet up somewhere where you can get out of a uncomfortable situation, quickly.
3. On the first few dates let someone you know well and trust, where and when you are going on this date.
4. Make sure you have a way to get home. Do not let them take you home, no matter how earnestly they offer.
5. If someone automatically wants to meet up at their house on the second date, chances are they are only in it for one reason. Be honest, let them know it makes you feel uncomfortable and if they don’t offer another public place, or just quit speaking with you. They were clearly in it for one reason.
6. If you feel uncomfortable in any situation, whether you are on a date or just chatting online with them, listen to your gut and stop the situation.
7. As I mentioned before don’t be surprised if someone is using a genuine dating site, rather than a hookup site, to, infact, hook up.
