Nurt Thurs – Gratitude and Thanksgiving

While Australians don’t celebrate Thanksgiving. Personally, I am still very grateful and thankful that we’ve managed to make this far and not completely lose our minds. Or our kindnesses for others. We may have lost some people and furries along the way this year, but we’re all still kind. We haven’t, like some others, giving into grief and fear, and this year, that has been more important than ever!

I will get to a good saying about Always on Time. But how disrespected do you feel about people who are always late for you! I think it’s the height of rudeness. I used to have a friend, never late for work, but always late for gatherings with family and friends. We lost so many tables, because of her. The funeral I went to last week, my partner got mad at one of his cousins. We didn’t see the guy when the funeral started, we didn’t see his cousin until after the funeral. Then the cousin went onto Facebook and said how much of a sham it was, because they didn’t give priority sitting to family…Well, maybe you had gotten there on time.

I’ll tell you what is never on time, my sciatica, always shows up when I don’t want it too. Like right now. Although, I never want sciatica on time either, lol

Nurt Thurs – Competition

I decided to refer this to a Halloween type Nurture this week. What I am going to write about for “Competition” is about costumes. Every year, I always see these one kind of memes, especially when it comes to girls/women and their costumes.

Generally ones that are like

“Slutty” Girls vs “Nerdy” Girls or

“Other” girls vs me

What I am trying to write is, dress up how ever YOU want too! You want dress with a costume that shows all the curves, do it. If you want to dress as a favourite character, that may not show as many curves, do it, or one big curve (haha). I’ve always found Halloween to be a time, when you can be who you want to be, who you’ve always wanted to see what it might be like. Put that mask on, put that “costume” on, be who you WANT to be.

Oh my goodness! What a year this has been, even though there is no pressure to learn something new or too…something…Haha…I run out of thoughts

However, I do think that we have learnt a LOT about ourselves. Now, THAT is important. Everything spiritually important comes from within.

Happiness, Forgiveness, Mental Health, Love, Hate, Anger … Failure is a inside job, Success is a inside job … It’s ALL an inside job. Never ever let anyone else have power over that.

Nurture Thursday – Preparation

Nurt Thur – Preparation

The best advice I could ever give someone, even though, it’s not more “fun” If you can prepare yourself though…Do! As I’ve mentioned a couple of times before, I have anxiety. Every now and then I triple…sometimes…quadruple my bag before I head out, make sure I’ve got all my stuff “just in case”.

Now saying this as well though, every now and then, when I’m feeling alright, I push myself a little bit more and more.

Basically, moderation is the key.
