I just found out that not only is it Good Friday, but every 25th of March is http://www.tolkiensociety.org/events/tolkien-reading-day-2016/ and according to the “The Tolkien Society” there is a theme every year, and this years theme is “Life, Death and Immortality”

So what will you be reading today? Also excuse me for a looking a little “Witchy” (also I apologise for the URL link stuff up, I’m not sure what’s happening there).

This or That … #29

this-or-that

This week I want to know…..

Do you prefer to read short

OR

Long novels

This isn’t going to be a “long” one, I have a lot of things going on right now and they are cluttering up my brain. I prefer long novels, mainly because you usually can caught up in the story and the character and you can just dream away. Short stories are great when you need a quick escape, but if you want to get really lost, really pulled away, there’s nothing like a good long novel.

This week I am wondering…

Would you prefer to write a stand alone novel that turns into a movie

OR

Write a series that turns into a TV show?

Oh I LOVE this question! Mainly because throughout the years I have written fantasy episodes for my own “dream television show”. I have written my own personal writing for a television show. So I would love to write a series that turns into a TV show, mainly because I’ve already written an episode guide for a television show.

Jackie Collins

So I was a bit shocked to discover that the great Lady Jackie Collins had passed away, I hadn’t even realised that she had breast cancer and was so sick.

Now I am not a fan of the whole “romance genre”, that’s just me, but I knew very well of Jackie Collins and the impact that she has had on that particular genre (or as some have said the “BonkBuster” genre). R.I.P to the great lady!
