One Name…

There’s a really good reason why I don’t listen to anything Trump says anymore, it’s either all:

• Stupid
• Dumb
• Misinformed
• Inflammatory

My partner though, for some reason, even though he doesn’t like Trump either. Will listen to news reports with Trump speaking. It drives me nuts! Mainly because he’ll say something really that makes me VERY annoyed.

My partner recently played a news report where Trump was talking about Covid19, I swear, he said “It has many names…The Virus, the Chinese Virus, Wuhan Virus”…No, it doesn’t have MANY names…It has ONE name…Covid19. It is definitely NOT “The Chinese Virus”. No leader, should be calling Covid19, anything else BUT Covid19 either.

Just like you and I, even Donald Trump, we all have ONE name. We may have nicknames, but we all have one name.

Maybe, he doesn’t know how to pronounce COVID19?

Blog Name Change

This is something I’ve just started to think about and I thought of a different name and was wondering, as my usual readers, what you would think of the name

instead?

The reason I ask is because the name Lolsy is also a nickname, but it was given to me by one of my ex-friends and I’m sorting hating using it. I have a feeling if she found out that I was using it still, it might cause a problem…That’s the kind of person she is…Most people though know me by Lolsy, as well as Lolly! Some of my nieces and nephews call me Aunty Lolly.

Please let me know if changing my name would be alright with you all? It’s not that much of a change, but I don’t want to do it “unawares”.

Does your first or middle name have any significance (or were you named after another family member)?

I don;t have a middle name (total weirdo, I know) but I do have a first name! I was named after Lauren Bacall…Which I think is kind of cool, she was a very cool lady. I try to be that cool, but I fail,lol

Music or silence while working?

It honestly depends, but most of the times I do listen to music, but it does help me focus. I have a couple of playlists on my ipod, depending on what I want to do. Most of the time it really does help and I don’t even usually get distracted, it does really help. The only time it doesn’t seem to work is when I’m already focused on something else.

If you had a special place for your three most special possessions (not including photos, electronics, people or animals), what would they be?

1. My Mufasa plush that I’ve had since I was a teenager. I bought him from a Zoo and he’s just the right size for cuddling and laying my head on.
2. When my Pa passed away I bought a bracelet with the money he left me. It has his birth stone in it and I love wearing it when I’m about to go somewhere and I am really nervous.
3. Anything with Belle from Beauty and the Beast on it. I just love Belle.

I’m not even sure how to answer this one because i’m a person who often says “Never say Never”.

List 2 things you have to be happy about?

My furbabies, they were honestly the first thing that popped into my head. The other thing that popped straight into my head is just those who I am very close to. So my family, my partner, my good friends. I honestly don’t know sometimes how I got so lucky. I’ve been losing and getting rid of “unnecessary” people from my life. It’s been great!lol

If you could take a photograph, paint a picture or write a story of any place in the world, what and where would it be?

There is something about beautiful and powerful a sun poking through the clouds. I would love to be paint something like the below picture:

The other thing is when I see a gorgeous image like this, it inspires me to want to write about fantastical places.

Should children be seen and not heard?

My mum always takes pride in the fact that myself and my brother were well behaved children. We knew our inside voices, we knew how to behave in restaurants etc. It sounds like though she might have just been very lucky. So I’m not 100% sure, there are some terrors out there. Wooo, what a sensitive subject! I don’t want to answer,lol

Would you rather take pictures or be in pictures?

I would rather take the pictures, than be in them. When I’m feeling pretty though I might take a picture of myself or a “selfie”. No one see’s them, I use to post them on Facebook, but people would pay me out too much (even though plenty of others were doing the exact same thing…Who knows why one can and one can’t). I did actually have an Instagram for a while, but I got bored of it pretty quickly.

Where do you like to vacation?

I LOVE Queensland! The people are gorgeous, the weather is pretty much always lovely 90% of the time. It’s a great place to be, if I ever won the lottery I would definitely buy a holiday house there.
