Failings.

Yesterday I went to stream at a time I have never really streamed before. And it didn’t go well, lol. I will be returning to my usual time for streaming on Mondays, lol.

Sometimes the way we do learn, is to fail. It’s a horrible though, but it’s a truthful one.

I saw a person I admire say “if the best thing that happened to you during 2022, is that you survived. You’ve still accomplished a lot”. This is true. Some of us did not make, and while like 100% of it is through not fault of their own. They did not make it, you did it, and contributed to the 8 billion people on earth.

  • You still here? That’s a win
  • You got up on a bad day, that’s a win
  • You took care of yourself on a bad day, that’s a win.

What I learnt in 2022

  • They USED to give pregnant women ECT (Electroconvulsive therapy).
  • If you’ve never heard of Dolly Oesterreich, look her up!
  • Daisies are actually closely related to artichokes, and they’re a great source of vitamin C. They’re known to slow bleeding, relieve indigestion, and soothe coughs.
  • Watching a medical show, did you know in a heart transplant, the old heart will still beat out of the body for a time.
  • You have pretty much as many guns as you want, In Texas. But legally, you’re only allowed to have 6 “sex toys”.
  • Empress Sissi
  • How Jesus’s disciples died, and I think Jesus got it the easiest.
  • I did not know that Australia share’s their water bombing helicopters/planes, with California!
  • The electric chair, was invented, by a dentist.
  • Not something I “learnt”, but rather something I learned about – https://au.yahoo.com/news/scientists-exciting-breakthrough-amelia-earhart-065623255.html
  • The Supreme Court DO NOT, even have a code of ethics.

Trans Awareness Week

My little life for #TransAwarenessWeek There is a trans woman, I did not know for years is trans. I also know a lesbian whose engaged to a trans man and a lesbian whose dating a trans woman. Such a “fuss” I can fit it all in one tweet, lol. Its just not a deal in my life.

Also just want to say being a cis woman during #TransAwarenessWeek I have learnt so much about bodies, science and importantly #language from trans people. How it changes, how it has never stayed the same. How beautiful it is when used properly, and I don’t mean just grammar. I suspect that a lot of transphobic leaders know perfectly well what they’re doing. They know perfectly well the language they use, is only used to hurt and harm. Which is why when people start coming around, don’t let them forget it.

I have to admit I do laugh a lot when transphobes in particular, think that trans people, non-binary people DON’T know anything about sex. Apart from those in the medical and health industry, I would trust trans people more than others to understand how our bodies and sex works. They’re living it every single day.

When I started to write about my little life on Twitter. The first thing I was hit with was about the rape crisis center’s thing again. I am going to give credit too only two TERFs here. You can, in fact, apply for a female only crisis center, it just makes sense, right? I know of at least two TERFs who tried to raise money for them. The TERFs decided they wanted to sue Stonewall instead. The amount of centers Rowling could raise on her OWN, but CHOSE to sue Stonewall.

So, don’t come at me with “what about those women who want same sex crisis centers” You can literally raise the money for one yourselves, so clearly NOT that big of a deal for them. I’m not even going to start with jails/prisons. That’s a big topic.

Saying it again

I got into an interesting “argument” with a Rabbi yesterday.

He was pretty much just lying about trans people, in the “name” of women’s safety. I don’t like that. Now I did learn something new, when I called him a typical white Religious male. I did not genuinely know that Jewish people can be seen as an ethnicity.

Did you all know that?lol.

I did not. I was horrified, so I did apoligise. What I did though was totally turned it around on him. With saying to him, that if I apoligise, would he apoligise for lying about human beings? I got blocked, lol. So my initial point of Religious people are not always kind, still stands.

After everything had calmed down. It struck me as a really terrible thing, that a Rabbi would LIE about another group of human beings. It doesn’t matter if you like or dislike trans people, or indeed any group. But when you LIE, when your own people have REALLY felt that ramification of people lies That hit me as terrifying. He should not be a Rabbi.

You can block me as much as you want, GOD, still sees you.

TAKE THE U.S. TRANS SURVEY

What am I learning?

I don’t know people, I don’t know, lol. It’s been an interesting week, just taking away “news” stories, especially from Fox and Sky News, has made life that little more bearable. I am not sure that I’ve really learnt anything this week. I think what has happened though, my brain has been able to think. Which sounds like I don’t think, lol. Taking out the unnecessary “news”, feels like my brain is freeing up. Too think about things a little bit more clearly.

I find that I get so consumed with the stupidity of it all, that I don’t see the good news. But the good news is out there. I totally get it why my brain is so consumed with the negative, but it’s so stupid, lol. You all know what I mean. All the things happening right now, it’s all dumb and unnecessary. Like just shove Trump in jail. If people “rebel” shove them in jail too.

Since trans people are real people and fought for their rights, like all groups who are not white religious straight men and , every human right Law, should be afforded to them, not taken away from them! Like, that’s not even a question too me.

No, one group on this planet can claim “perfection”. If we start punishing people because of one, we all need to be punished.

What I have become more clearer though. One of my problem this week was that I really hurt my leg. It’s an old injury and I had to walk fast through the rain one day and it flared it up. So I couldn’t even do things around the house and I had horrible sleeps, because of the pain. Because it’s not technically a week yet, since I started to want to pro-actively change my mind set. I’m not going to everything I’ve done this week, so far. Probably Monday.

I can feel already a change, just refreshing news stories, and blocking “news” papers/stations from completely pointless, Right Wing “news” people. I am also noticing that if I do ever come across, I am a lot more calm as well. As Right Wingers, tend to say the same things. So when you see what the “news” article is about. You know what to expect, which can be very useful. Sometimes I didn’t even have to read the comments to know what was being said.

Thursday Theories – Understanding

This is the problem with society today. It USED to be common that if you don’t understand something, you shut up and learn. It’s called having good listening skills. These days people will admit they don’t understand something, but it’s everybody else whose the idiot for you not understanding.

A quick break down.

Birthing person, pregnant person – Is inclusive language. It pretty much includes people who are not women, but are pregnant, so trans men. Birthing person can also include women who are pregnant, but will not be keeping the child after (for what ever reasons).

You might just be in an echo chamber.

One of the reasons I don’t block people straight up (unless they are particularly horrible) is because, unlike Joe Rogan, I am willing to hear “bad things” about myself. Because you know, I might actually learn something. Of course getting the clown emoji has happened to myself so many times, I always ask why now. Personally, I don’t think they actually know why, they just react.

But, what’s makes me different to someone like Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson, who don’t listen to criticism about themselves. You don’t learn, and you compound it by only surrounding yourself with people who only agree with you. Well there’s no hope for you.

That’s what an echo chamber is. You surround yourself with only people who tell you how are fantastic you are and never question you.

This is what happens on Facebook and Twitter a lot.

Like take for example the trans community. Pretty much every “first world country” cept the UK Government, and Texas. The majority of woman support trans women. It’s hard to see that with Johnson, or the BBC etc. But every single time something important comes out, women support them. It’s the men who don’t. So when I see a bigot say that FEMALE Prime Minister’s are pandering to men, ask them “How is she pandering to men, when men don’t support trans people”?

I don’t know about you all, I find that not agreeing with men, isn’t very “pandering” to them, lol.

Go Higher!

Long Post!

Every day we learn how to be a better version of ourselves, learn every day to push that.

Obviously, within reason. If you’re not feeling it that day, don’t feel it, lol.

I was “inspired” to write this post after seeing the ridiculous assertions from some (we know who they are) that Putin is doing this because of “pronouns”, because the West is too “weak” because of LGBT.

The Ukraine isn’t really “Western” and it’s about NATO, despite NATO clarifying that the Ukraine wouldn’t be placed in the NATO list. Also, it’s Putin. There are rumors that Putin had/has COVID and it made his brain a little addle. We will never be able to tell with Trump … Oh, I had too, lol

I also saw a picture a cartoonist drew of POTUS Biden shouting at a solider while that solider put lipstick on. Now I don’t know about any of you, but putting on lipstick while you’re being yelled at, is pretty hardcore, lol … That is definite “I don’t give a f”, and is not a weak thing, on any level, lol. Also what’s wrong with wearing lipstick? Wearing lipstick doesn’t make you gay, I’m looking at you, right wing religious conservatives. Maybe THEY should try putting on lipstick while being yelled at.

Now, this is not permission to start in-fighting. The amount of people who have “rules” on their profile. I’m sorry to tell you all, the only rules on Twitter, Facebook etc are their rules. If you want rules for your profile, then you make your account private or make sure only certain tweets, posts get out. Twitter and Facebook do have it so you can make sure only certain people can see it. It’s one of the worst thing about “left” and “woke” twitter, lol.

So many of them have rules! With no irony at all, that no one is THAT obsessed with their profiles. I’ve been “called out” a couple of times, because I didn’t follow their “rules”. One, I just retweeted something, if you don’t want to be hassled, you can actually stop people from retweeting. Two, the whole reason they claim that you’re not allowed to retweet them is that they’ll get hassled by TERFs. My Twitter account is a small account, only one person liked the tweet. Where as their “calling out” was liked by over three hundred accounts and many people questioning my “allyship”. Some people were asking “Are they (me) an genuine ally” and I’m like “I’m right here, I don’t have rules, my profile is public and I have open DM’S. You can literally tag me, see my profile and DM me. You don’t need to act like I’m invisible”. I ended up blocking everyone who did that too me.

It’s thing like that, from my side I can’t stand.

I have seen many an ally, say something or do something that someone doesn’t 100% agree with, and then they turn into who they hate, and when you point out to them what they’re doing is exactly what they say they hate, you’re called a fascists’, or not an ally.

By the way you don’t “earn” to be an ally, you either are you are not. Allies do not get it right 100% of the time. We don’t get it right all the time, we just don’t and we are always learning. But I have seen trans people come down hard on allies and literally dictate that they are or are not an ally. I get everything is emotional right now. There’s no point in-fighting. If you don’t agree, tell that person, but don’t attack them. Who does that help? By the way despite that harshness from some trans people on if I’m and others are “allies” are not, we’re not stopping helping others.

The sad part of this story though, a couple of months after what happened too me. One of these people lost their job, they’re now relying on handouts from people and hoping to make money from their Art. I feel sorry for them, but I get why they lost their job. When you’re that emotionally caught up, you take it everywhere you go. There work already was making it difficult for them and their disability.

I get emotionally caught up a lot, but I’m not taking it everywhere I go. I take it where it matters. That’s the trick. I’m not going onto Twitter and expecting people to follow MY rules. The rules are Twitter’s rules, the rules are Facebook rules. That’s it, and if you want to make your account more specific, you can do that, easy peasy.

Black History Month (US and Canada)

I feel terrible! I’ve been so wrapped up in myself lately, that Black History Month has just flown straight over my head. In the US and Canada, this happens in February, and in the UK and Ireland, it takes place in October. I would love to have on Australia, I just don’t think Australia is ready for that though =/

So for the rest of the month, I am going to make mentions throughout. This post is mainly about how you can support Black History Month, and I will probably repeat it in October. However, for this month, I am going to focus on America’s Black History.

We’re all here to read, learn and create. So I am hoping that you will help me learn throughout this month as well. If you feel I am over stepping my place, please let me know. Just as I am not trans, am I also not a person of colour, so please, let me know if and where I might be going wrong. I want to do this as respectfully as I can.

1. Support Black-Owned Businesses:

2. Learn About Noteworthy Black Figures and Their Contributions:

3. Donate to Charities That Support Anti-Racism Equity and Equality:

4. Purchase, Read, and Share Books by Black Authors:

5. Support and Learn About Black Women:

6. Listen to or Read “The 1619 Project” by the New York Times:

7. Participate in Online Events:

8. Attend Virtual Black History Month Celebrations:

At the moment, the US, is still very much in the COVID pandemic. So the more you/we can do at home, the better.

The creation of the month-long celebration stems back to 1915, when noted historian and scholar Carter G. Woodson created a themed week to honor Black history. In 1976, February was officially recognised as Black History Month, which over time graduated from being nationally celebrated to globally like it is in current day.

I wanted to start this off with something fun! What could be more fun, than dolls! This for the young ones, or the collectors or the “child at heart”. For boys and girls! But that will be my next post =D

What a beautiful woman, there’s so much beauty in those eyes ❤
