Some Silly Questions:

Is it better to suspect something (bad or hurtful) and not know or to have your worst fears confirmed by sure knowledge?

I would rather my worst fears confirmed. I’m kind of going through this at the moment, I am like 95% sure there is someone who doesn’t want to be friends with me. I tried to reach out a few months and it was such an awkward conversation, but I don’t get why they don’t just say something? I feel like it’s really rude. They keep liking things of people I’ve actually introduced them too, and ignore me. With everything that I’ve been through, I don’t feel hurt. I just feel annoyed. I’m in my mid-30s, I don’t got time for that!

What makes you laugh aloud?   Crack up?   Laugh until your sides split?   When was the last time you had a great big belly laugh?

It’d have to be watching “John Olivers – Last Week Tonight”. I really enjoy the show, but this particular show was about Australian voting. They paid particular attentions to one candidate, Clive Palmer (he didn’t get in…thank god…but it’s starting to sound like the Liberals are still keeping their promise to him…Look up #Adani). My mum and I knew he was a bit of a twit, but it was so funny this segment. Look up Clive Palmer, Titanic 2…Yep, Titanic 2. Let the spirit of Jack and Rose live on…

Do you suppose Noah had woodpeckers in the ark?  If he did, where did he keep them?   Apologies to the Darwinians in the crowd…this is merely for fun, okay?

I think he would have kept them possibly in a wooden cage, inside of a guilded cage. So they couldn’t really couldn’t get out, but still had something to “wood peck”. Probably need some back up wood.

Why is “Charlie” short for “Charles when they are the same number of letters?

Oh god, that’s like one of those “What is the meaning of life” questions…Nobody knows, lol…My mind is actually blown, I’ve never realised that before, lol

Thankful, Joyful, Grateful

What  happened in your world this past week that made you feel thankful, joyful or grateful?

I’m thankful, even though it was annoying, especially the night after I slept badly. I’m glad I got some more shifts at work rather than no shifts at all!

QUESTION:

  • What does a successful relationship look like to you?

I think there are definitely varieties of “success” and what would make a successful relationship to each individual. For myself, personally there are a couple of things.

  1. You’re not constantly having “dramas”, including breaking up and getting back together.
  2. No matter how hard the subject is, you feel comfortable enough to go and talk with your partner.
  3. Saying that, you can say that your partner is your best friend. Maybe not your only best friend, but at least one of them.
  4. In the day of social media, if you have a partner that doesn’t really like using social media or having their picture taken (like mine). You actually respect that, you don’t push them into anything.
  • If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning medal for?

The only thing I could really think of was honestly “listening”. I know that I am really good at that. People tell me that one all the time and also how I’m nice and how rare that is.

  • What do you wish you knew more about?

Everything! Honestly everything! I always feel like I don’t know everything, about anything.

  • What is better in your opinion – asking for forgiveness or permission?

I think it’s better to ask for permission. Forgiveness, implies that you, or them, have already done something that maybe they should have asked for permission!

GRATITUDE QUESTION

  • What’s the best thing about your life right now?

It’s been a frustrating week for myself, it’s gotten pretty dark to be honest.  I am just fed up with a lot in my life right now. However, what keeps getting me through is everything in my life. Those who are close and personal to me, I mean. Not just the general population.

Conservation Work

As you would probably expect watching a live safari drive web live (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/wildearth-safaris) the conversation about conservation comes up. How much money it costs to run a conservation park, why can’t we all win the lottery. I hate that I have all these ideas and yet I don’t have the skills or the knowledge, or the backing to set something up. Especially when it comes to conservation work, I think animals deserve to be here more a lot more than we do.

#ideasworthspreading

  • One idea is to make plushies, mainly of endangered animals and each plushie that is purchased you give the money to conservation.
  • Making fantasy type jewellery with all of the African wildlife on it.

Wild Earth Safari

Since the beginning of October I have been watching a web cab feed called “Wild Earth Safari” and in Australia they run from 2:30pm-5:30pm and 12:30am to 3:30am. The web cam feed runs until January the 31st (although I, and many others, have asked, if there is any possibility of them running longer than that).

These feeds are taken from the game reserves of Djuma Game Reserve and Arathusa Safari Lodge in the Sabi Sand Wildtuin. You can all sorts of animal Lions, Leopards, Hippos, Ellies and Impala…Oh My!

They have experienced rangers and guides that drive around and along the way for the couple of hours they are with you. They will inform, and educate on a wide range of the flora and fauna of the animals and plants within their game reserves. They are incredibly good teachers and even when you see the true side of nature and the wild. They remind of you of “This is nature”.

I suggest you go and have a look at Wild Earth Safari and I’ll see you on the drive!
