St. Patrick’s Day

I am a little tipsy while I write this. I mean it’s a big glass of wine, but I am letting down my ancestors right now, haha…I am starting early, lol…I hope I can go to work!

Saint Patrick’s Day, or the Feast of Saint Patrick (IrishLá Fhéile Pádraiglit.‘the Day of the Festival of Patrick’), is a cultural and religious celebration held on 17 March, the traditional death date of Saint Patrick (c. 385 – c. 461), the foremost patron saint of Ireland.

I’m not sure I even have anything green, I am something like 1/16th Irish. On Saint Patrick’s Day, it is customary to wear shamrocks, green clothing or green accessories. Saint Patrick is said to have used the shamrock, a three-leaved plant, to explain the Holy Trinity to the pagan Irish. This story first appears in writing in 1726, though it may be older.

What would be your ideal birthday present, and why?

I think it would honestly be that makes everyone that I care about have some fun and just have a good time. What that actually is, I’m not sure.

What color would you like your bedroom to be?

I have actually really been thinking about this sort of thing lately, if I had my dream house type thing. I am really into Celtic and fantasy type things at the moment. I’ve started doing some personal fantasy writing and the music I listen to, to inspire me is Celtic and Celtic type music. It would be fantastic if I could have some sort of office (maybe a Bedroom) where it was inspired by the Celtic theme. A lot of Celtic themes come from Ireland and Irish history, so I guess I would need it to be some kind of nice green colour.

Would you prefer snowy winters, or not, and why?

I have never actually seen real snow before! I would love to see it, but I really hate the cold, so I’m not sure how long I would actually even last, lol.

Would you rather go a week without bathing, but be able to change your clothes, or a week without a change of clothes, but be able to bathe?

Hmm, during Summer being able to do neither of those two options would be preferable (it’s Summer here). If I really had to choose though, I would have to go with a week without bathing, but able to change clothes. It’s funny really because of my damaged leg thats what I’ve had to do over the last month or so. It was hurting my leg to much to move about so I had to limit what I could do. My poor boyfriend with my hairy legs though!lol
