What will finally break the Internet?  Do you believe it can be broken at all?

I don’t know if this is breaking the internet as such, but I think once Trump is out of the WH…God willing, this November. I think it’ll be quiet on the internet…Not totally silent, but I think people are going to want to take a loooooooooooong break!

What are some ‘red flags’ to watch out for in daily life?  (take it as you want)

This is more a phobia of mine, than a red flag. I always freak out a little bit whenever, a huge nameless van parks up next too me. I don’t even care whose driving, whenever a big nameless van parks up next to me, I freak out a little inside…Too much SVU, I think,lol

Anyone who can’t stop saying how nice they are.

Anyone who says that they don’t hate Transpeople, they just…you know…want them all gone…But they TOTALLY don’t hate them,lol

Anyone who doesn’t like animals.

What’s the silliest thing someone has argued with you about?

I don’t think this is really an argument, mainly because they all blocked me before I could say anything. But the silliest argument I have ever found myself was with my ex friends. Where they started off with “I debated whether or not to bring this up on new years eve…But you’re a horrible person and I don’t like the way you’ve treated me the last couple of years”. Then she blocked me. I just know that it was the narcissistic part of her was like “Would I really want to be told I’m a horrible person on new years” Personally I don’t think there’s a GOOD day to say that to someone.

What’s the strangest thing you’ve found lying on the ground / side of the road?

QUESTIONS:

What makes you laugh?

Oh, so many things make me laugh. I’ve been holding onto them so much these days. I always tape a couple of comedies, just to make sure that I have something to laugh with. At lot of the “laugh out loud” shows, they make on the television. I love those. My brother has a fabulous witty biotchy side, I wish I had it!

What’s the world coming to?  (Credit to Mel of Crushed Caramel…)

Doom and Gloom!lol…Just kidding. I think we’ve hit a bump, but I think after this is all over. Changes will definitely take place. There’s no way we can just “go back”.

In one sentence sum up the Internet.

A place to communicate.

If over time you replace parts on a car, at what point does it stop being the same car you bought? How many parts do you need to replace to make it a new car?

I have no idea how many parts a car even has,lol.

Gratitude is an attitude.   Yea or nay?   Explain your viewpoint please!  

Oh I absolutely believe it is, sometimes it’s a case of fake it till you make it.

Wow, I didn’t even notice with everything that’s been happening this week that I am now up too 600 readers!

This is amazing too me! I am honestly surprised when I had my first reader follow me, so to get here is an amazing event for me! Not too many people in my “irl” know that I even have that Blog. It just feels like this is something just for myself.

And it’s been great!

It’s pretty appropriate that I have noticed the gain in my readers (I hate calling readers ‘followers’…I just personally don’t like the term). I want to change my Blog this year, make it more relevant, have a little more fun it. See how I can it more Library and Book related. I have been inspired by my readers that’s for sure!

 

Politics and Celebrity

I think of all the issues this year, this has been one of the biggest ones…People telling American Citizens, that they’re just a celebrity and they should “shut up”…While at the some time voting in a celebrity for President.

So why the big ho-ha?

Whether you are a celebrity or not, if you are ultimately an American citizen, you have just as right to speak as anyone else…

However I am of the opinion that just because you are a celebrity or an entertainer doesn’t mean you HAVE to speak out on political issues either. Most celebrities don’t start out for a career in entertainment to become a politician? Some just naturally veer that way and that’s fine, but some don’t and that’s fine too. Maybe they just genuinely feel like they don’t really understand what’s going on and don’t want to look the fool?

I don’t know when it become a pre-requisite for celebrities to have to speak about political issues? … Or any kind of issue … When did that happen exactly? Unless you have an actual conversation with that person, you don’t really understand where they are coming from. Some I think as well don’t bother as well because like the saying goes ”

“You can’t win the internet”.

I know from reading what other people have said about these celebrities. That even when they have said something or done something “good” or to speak out. They get called fake and not genuine. Let’s be honest here, you are a complete stranger to these celebrities and yet revel in their mistakes. It’s kind of  feels like a sickness. This is what I think of people who complain when a celebrity tries to do the right thing and they just continue to call them “fake” or something along those lines..It’s almost like they don’t want them to change and do the “right thing” by them.

I think sometimes people forget, celebrities are human too. I think each of them hope for success without really thinking of the “responsibility” that could possibly happen with the fame. I watch these “feuds” and how people take sides, complete strangers. They take it to such a level that I cannot understand. I remember the days when people just liked the entertainment. I just want to listen to the music again…Not the feud. Sure, people like Gary Glitter and Jimmy Saville should NEVER be played in any house ever again. It’s not up to a celebrity where I stand or what views I think they should take though, or how they should do it either.

Literally every single artist on this planet is not doing something right by some and is “God” to others…It’s almost like we’re all human and nothing is just black and white.

Twitching to Twitch

I finally thought of something to write about, something that is really quiet magical to myself and I hope that it becomes magical to you as well.

I call myself a “creeper twitcher” which basically means that I watch a lot of Twitch streaming…

What is Twitch, I hear you ask? (Maybe)

Twitch or Twitch tv is probably the leading platform when it games to live streaming gamers and their games. More than 45 millions…that’s million…gamer use Twitch to live stream their games and other related live gaming type entertainment. This can be anything for watching other people play, people who cosplay making their latest costumer to food and drink. Some people will just literally streaming themselves having a party.

I call myself a “creeper twitcher” because I watch quiet a few twitchers. Some are harder to watch than others just purely because of the time different. As I’ve mentioned before it is LIVE…So this means because we are watching people from all over the world, sometimes you do miss a favourite twitcher. However, there a couple of Australians I LOVE to watch and luckily, they like to Twitch a lot as well!

I have often thought about becoming a Twitcher myself, instead of just stalking everybody on it. I just do not have the guts to do it! I honestly feel like that people on the Twitch community are becoming celebrities on their right. A new media for celebrity maybe?

Thank you … Part 2 … My Online life

Last week I promised myself that I was going to think at least 80% positively for the week and I have to say that I think I did really well. I was probably more 70%, but it was still a good number! I think that we are finally getting that first Spring weather is helping me a lot to think more positively. I am not a Winter person at all!

Part of my positive thinking was saying thank you my local Chemist (as seen here: Thank you … My Local Chemist) and I thanked them for help they had given me during my time when I developed an odd form of anxiety.

This week I would LOVE to say thank you to my “online life” and the people I’ve met via the Internet.

I don’t think many people realise the amazingly positive impact that they’ve had on me through my online life. This includes people who I interact with via WordPress, my Safari Live family, sometimes Instagram etc. I have met someone awesome incredibly people on these sites, who have helped me expand my mind, shocked me (in a good way) and have become more a part of my daily life and probably know me better than even my real life ‘life’ people.

It’s introduced me to a world of people who think the same way as me, who will allow people in and out of their lives based on what’s on the inside rather than the outside, or what they want people to perceive them as. I was at a point in my life where I was SO tired of losing “friends” because I didn’t want to pretend anymore, because I wanted to fight for things, rather than swear all the time and be a certain way (I swear people told me I should swear more because a certain girl they want to sleep with swears…a lot) I was tired of feeling like a bad person because people would literally tell me I should be more like “Girl A, or Girl B” or had to impress people to make life easier for themselves. I had someone tell me once I shouldn’t wear headbands, so now I wear them all the time when they’re around…I think my headbands are gorgeous!

I was tired of the same dramas I have been involved since High School, especially when I’m supposed to be in my 30’s and all the people still doing the drama’s are in their 30’s.

This is what you all brought me, you brought me a family that accepted me as one of your own, because of what I already bring, not what you think I can bring, or what you *think* I should bring.  You actually like having me around, for me ❤ I’m not sure you will ever understand how much freedom you have all give me, how much power you have given back to me.

What is your favorite go to beverage?  Water, coffee, tea, coke, soda (non-alcoholic)

If I had to choose from all of those it would have to be a nice cup of tea. Tea just always makes me feel better, it’s always a nice drink during Winter and when you are feeling poorly. Even during Summer, tea always seem like a good choice. It’s just so soothing.

Can you change a car tire?

No,lol

Are you a listener or talker?

I am definitely a listener, I am usually the quietest in all of the group I’m in. Sometimes I’m even an “unwilling” listener. You know the types you don’t want to  or can’t deal with people that day, but they don’t notice the little signs that you keep putting out.

Would you rather have no internet or no cell phone?

I would rather have no internet, because at least with a cell phone I could keep in contact with everybody still. I could with the internet, but not everyone has a computer or something like an internet connection. Nearly everyone I know though has some sort of phone. I also find having a cell phone is much more handier in an emergency.

Live Web Feeds

As many of you probably know I am a big fan of Wild Earths/Ustream web feed of Wild Earth Safari Live…Pretty much I think sometimes I borderline on the obsession. Anyways because people are aware I watch these I’ve started to realise that there are so many other feeds through Ustream that I watch and I very rarely mention these other ones.

Sea Eagles – Australia

Currently this Ustream channel is filmed in Sydney Australia and it follows two parent Sea Eagles raising their young. This particular hatching season, they have managed to, so far,  successfully hatch two baby chicklets and know you can just watch them feed and eventually start to learn to fly.

Owl Channel – America

Here you can watch wild Barn Owls (Tyto alba) in live 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They roost and nest in an owl box we call the Hideout. We have a camera inside the Hideout as well as cameras outside to see them come and go.

Explore – Brook Falls

Watching exclusive live footage from Alaska’s Brooks River in Katmai National Park. Every year over a hundred Brown Bears descend on a mile long stretch of Brooks River to feast on the largest Sockeye Salmon run in the world.
ALSO though through this particular Ustream feed, you are also able to view other cameras through the website explore.org/ . You can look up feeds on Puffins, Panda and Walruses…Just to name a few!

 

Little Gunga <3

Today I was a little shocked to come onto the Ostrich Egg cam live and to see that there was no more little Gunga! Luckily after about a minute of investigation I could stop panicking because little Gunga had not passed away suddenly. Which was so relieving to me, because Gunga was so fiesty!

What had happened was Daddy Dash and kind Rancher Joel decided to break the other egg shells and were sad to discover that the other eggs had not developed properly. So they were not going to grow any further. So what they have decided to do was to take Gunga out and let him/her run free with a kind Rancher Joel other baby Ostriches. Baby ostriches thrive much better when they have other ostriches to run around with.

Of course this all happened while I was asleep.

SO at the moment it’s just some last chatting before the chat comes off and probably waiting a whole another year for the next lot =D

If you are long time reader of mine you will know a couple of years ago I fell in love with little Pip. The baby Ostrich that was hatched and raised by the Dash family for a little before she tragically passed away. Baby birds, or birds in general are extremely sensitive and so the littlest thing can easily kill them.

Please join me on the 25th of this month and we can witness this awesome moment together, I guarantee you will not be disappointed! Please read my previous posts about the other viewings.
