Never judge a book….

During the weekend I went into numerous toy shops looking for a plush Hyena…I dressed up as Harley Quinn for an “Heroes and Villians” party over the weekend, so I thought that I would give an Easter twist to my Harley Quinn costume. I could not find a Hyena anywhere! They had Serval Cats (because I hear kids want them all the time) and some Wild Dogs (The number one Hyena enemy!)…But NO Hyena!

Anyways, while looking in one store, I came across this little treasure.

There was a whole bunch of them together, I didn’t get Belle because as you can see even just behind the Beast here, I have a lot of Belle.

I detract from my story. I was a little shocked to discover the name of the company and the stand that these figurines were all standing on. Why was I shocked you ask yourself? Well I was shocked because it wasn’t exactly the first name I would think of when thinking of Disney Figurines.

The company’s name you may ask? … Bullyland … by Paragon Toys. It was just a little bit of a shock, it’s a bit of weird name right? It wasn’t just me, was it?

Baby Animals

As you many of you probably know I am pretty obsessed with UStream TV channel of “Wildearth – Safari (Ustream)” I watch it as often as I can. At the moment it seems in the Djuma Game Reserve and Arathusa Safari Lodge in the Sabi Sand Wildtuin are just bursting with baby animals!

Now there have been a lot of Impala and Wilderbeest and all sorts of herbivore babies being born, but as you can probably guess, there has also been a lot of hunting and eating by the predators. So below are photos of just the first few cutie being born. No baby lions/cubs … Yet!

Indefinite Wild Earth Magic!

Everyone who follows my Blog knows about my obsession with Wild Earth’s Safari Live, which is presented by both Ustream and Nat Geo. Originally the Live Safari (tweet: #SafariLive) was supposed to end of February, but then they made an announcement that they were going to extend it by three months.

Now for the exciting news! They’ve decided to introduce all new guides, so they don’t actually know when they are going to end the drives! Forever Safari’s.

Bella

This is Bella, we have been watching her grow up. She is such a little cutie. Hyena’s are a matriarchal society and unfortunately she has two younger cubs that she hangs out with that are her “superiors”, but she has such character! We know that the other two cubs one is a girl and one is a boy, because if Hyena have two cubs of the same gender, one has to be killed =/

(The other two…They don’t have a name yet).

Bud and Lou = Baby Hyena!

Watching my Safari Live, as I do, and there were these baby hyena’s born a month or so ago and they are freaking adorable! I can absolutely understand why someone would have thought that Hyena’s would be great for Harley Quinn…I mean just look at these pictures! Baby animals are just the best!

They are simply magical ❤
