Idiots >.< lol

Oh my god, people…When did people lose their sense of humours?

So, here’s what happened.

The UK media and both sides of the Government were doing their normal bigotry shit.

I made a joke that was about how the UK, with their current Government and Media bigotry and lack of spine, would never have won the WW2 without the US. I thought it was hilarious and my “followers” on Twitter got it, so I posted it on my Facebook.

Well! lol

People I never hear from, decided to “tell me” to not re-write History, and there was more too it…

Like, I know, lol…All these monarchists … Jebus Christ! … When I wrote about “Prince” Andrew and the amount of grown women putting all the responsibility on a 17 year old girl’ shoulder…NOT A PEEP.

This is why I don’t let people know on my Facebook what my new Twitter account is. I get that people have lost their humor, but it’s like people just scan things to see what they can be offended about sometimes.

The next time I came on FB and I saw all these “don’t let people let you rewrite History and blah blah”….I just burst out laughing. That’s what my next post was, just a few laughing emoji’s and a laughing gif. It might be the Irish Catholic in my descendants, but I just have no time for that kind of idiocy anymore.

Questions:

Do you snore?  How do you know it, if you do?

I think I do, but not all the time. It seems to happen a lot when I have a cold, or the weather is a bit colder. My partner told me, he’s definitely a snorer though. Sometimes it drives me so nuts, so I have to wake him. At the moment I haven’t been, because he’s just bought a house and he’s just started work again for the year (he’s a teacher). So if he can sleep I let him.

What do you find funny?  (credit for question given to Rory and this post in particular:

https://aguycalledbloke.blog/2020/02/05/ha-ha-ha-ahh-what-do-you-find-funny/  )

What was the last furry thing you touched?

Well considering I’m sleeping when this will be posted, I have a couple of plushies on my bed. So, I’ve probably hugged them before I fell asleep, or at least laid down with them in some way.

How do you handcuff a one-armed man?

Where did this question come from this week?lol. I really had to think about it. The only thing I could think of was to cuff them to the top of their bottoms? If they have hook or something? But then what if they don’t. You’d have to handcuff them to yourself, maybe? I think I’ve seen on the tv them doing that, but mainly on tv shows and the movies. Whether or not that happens in real life, I’m not sure. I watch a UK show called “Death in Paradise” absolutely love it. There was one episode where the lead detective was handcuffed to a criminal, and the criminal was killed…while handcuffed to the detective.

An Attitude of Gratitude

This week I challenge you to list five things you’re grateful for.   Credit to this goes to Sadje ( https://lifeafter50forwomen.com/ ) because she’s started a challenge to do that daily.  #5 Things.   Daunting?  Well it is to me!  I’d have trouble finding five one time, let alone each day.

  • As always I am very grateful for both the furbabies being here still. They both have different issues and my mum is always talking about how the Chihuahua is probably going to die soon. I hate it when she talks about it, because yes, she is slowing down, and she’s completely deaf. But she’s fine. I think she’ll be good for at least another year. The way my mum talks though, you’d think it’s going to be next week and I hate it. The cat is still twitching, but no fits. So I suspect he will be with us for a long time yet, lol.
  • For all the work I’m getting at the moment. I found out our CEO really doesn’t like Casuals. So end of March, I have NO idea what’s going to happen. I’m working a lot, so making a lot of money. Which I need for the dentist and my partners moving house. His mortgage brother underestimated how much one fee will be. It’s going to be about $6000. SOo I might need to help him.
  • My mum. My mum offered my partner some money when the mortgage broker forgot a pretty big fee (over $6000). Even my own partners family offered him nothing, my Mum did. Even though she can’t afford it. She knows he’ll be able to pay her back pretty quickly.
  • Someone made the movie LotR and The Hobbit in my life time.
  • David Suchet  … Now HE is an actor!

Those last days…

I have to go back to work tomorrow…Don’t get me wrong I am grateful that I even have a job for the moment. The team are fantastic, but I am having  a hard time feeling happy at the moment. I had really honestly thought that I was getting the job that I had recently gone through and had to make adjustments to other parts of my life, just so I could be there for training. Usually after about a day I am able to get up, smile and continue, but I have really been struggling since the day I found out I wasn’t getting the job.

Maybe it’s a sign? I have been thinking of doing that side business I keep talking about, maybe there’s a reason it never stops coming up, maybe there’s a reason I can’t get no job satisfaction. My Gran who is probably the biggest influence in my life  and is also the most no nonsense person I know. She has been telling me for YEARS that I need to get more serious with writing and possibly looking into Cosplay, or something to do with it, since I love dressing up. I have so many wigs…It’s ridiculous!

The Single’s Womans Blogging Challenge “Day 8 – 14”

8)      Five things that are most important to you in a future mate

I crave honesty now more than anything else! I have realised how important it is and how much respect you have for the other person when you are honest.
A good heart, he can be as broody as he wants, but as long as he has a good heart and genuinely cares for others and myself of course!
An open mind, I know a variety of people in my life and my partner would NEED to be open minded to all of it.
Being polite is a huge plus for me, not necessarily opens doors and lifts his pinkie when he drinks tea. I have been with someone who would literally sulk every time we were around my friends, but if we were around HIS friends I had to be charming and entertaining.
A good sense of humour, I don’t think that I could ever live with someone who had no sense of humour…Oh that’s a horrible thought! lol

9)      Your favorite “weird/funny single behavior” – Anything you do that is uniquely YOU and that living alone allows you to do (For example, I sometimes dance around the house with my cat to Frank Sinatra)

Oh my, I think everything I do is weird any ways! I always feel that if you can’t do it around your partner…well that’s a bit sad. So I am not really sure what my weird single behaviour is to be honest. There are plenty of things that I wouldn’t do if front of others, but if I can’t do it in front of my partner than it would probably mean I wouldn’t trust them. I have nothing to hide from a partner!

10)   Google the meaning of your name and talk about how it fits or doesn’t fit you

Lauren may be a given name or surname. The name’s meaning may be “Laurel tree”, “sweet of honor” or “victory of wisdom”.

Well I’m not a tree, hehe…I think I agree with the other two though, sweet of honor is definitely me, even when the rest of the world calls me crazy I know I am honourable and that’s why they think I’m crazy. Instead of being with everyone else and talking behind their backs, I ask them of what is going on. Victory of Wisdom is something that I believe I am starting to believe in myself only now.

11)   Your worst/funniest/most embarrassing date

It’s funny because I don’t really date. Every single one of my relationships, I’ve never actually ‘dated’ them, we just spent time casually together and decided that we like each other. The most embarrassing type dates I find myself in, is when a guy will invite me to go see a movie and he hasn’t made it clear that HE intends it to be a date. I rock up thinking I’m just hanging with a friend and he thinks it’s date…That has made for quite a few awkward situations.

12)   Your proudest accomplishment

My proudest achievement is going back to studies to pursue in a career I want to do, rather than being in a job that was physically making me ill just to get money. I just wish I could find a job in this field now!

13)   Describe how you met the last person you texted and talk about your friendship/relationship

Well he’s my cousin by blood, so that’s pretty simple to explain, lol

14)   Describe the last moment you felt really, truly blissful

I have had quite a few moments over the last couple of months. I do have two different moments that stand out though. One was when I dressed as Katarina from LoL to a conventions, that was an amazing day and I was so happy. My feet were killing at the end of the day, but I just LOVED it all! It was an amazing day.

The second was on New Year’s Eve. I debated if what I was doing was alright or not and now I know that it was an amazing! I definitely made the right decision for myself. I salsa the night away, it was amazing! I kept dancing with random men, which was not the safest plan, guaranteed…I had just assumed that my friends knew this guys…They did not! lol.
