I have rewritten this post about 3 times now, lol. That is okay. Stuff is happening and things change.

It’s weird to think we have now entered a world without Queen Elizabeth the II in it. It just really is, lol.

On top of which, if you’re not feeling great. How about out some vulnerable people, who do a lot of good work for the LGBT community!

It’s hug time!

Oh my god, so this has been a hard year. Even though I know we’re not allowed to touch at the moment…Sometimes when we touch…

What I would like to know, is who would love to give a hug too? Personally, I would love to give a hug too Dr Fauci. Now he is a human being who could do with a hug.

Teddy Bear Day =D

It’s an ideal time to get together with others for a teddy bear’s favourite activity, having a picnic, as immortalised in the classic song, ‘Teddy Bear’s Picnic.’ This was written in 1907, shortly after teddy bears were first manufactured in Europe and America. The American toy bears were named Teddy, in honour of President Theodore Roosevelt, who had refused to shoot a small captured bear on a hunting trip. Many teddy bears have become famous over the years, including Paddington Bear, Rupert Bear, Pudsey Bear and, of course, Winnie the Pooh.

If you know me, I am the teddy bear Queen! Even though I am pretty sure that it’s an American holiday.

List 2 things you have to be happy about?

1. My furbabies…No matter what you’re always happy to see them and they are always happy to see them.
2. A secure roof over my head. Having a secure home to come home too, it’s so safely reassuring.

Have you ever owned a rock, pet rock, or gem that is not jewelry?

You know I think I did own a pet rock, I can kind of remember what it looked like as well. It was very smooth, I think it was made too look like a “pet”. We must have bought it from a store.

Are you a hugger or a non-hugger?

Well this is an interesting questions. I am only a hugger if I know you well and I trust you. I’ve unfortunately had one too many male friends try to cop a feel while they’re hugging me.

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination. 

It hasn’t happened yet, but I am really looking forward to spending a nightaway in a beach town with my partner =D

Are you a hugger or a non-hugger? 

Haha! I made a comment a few months ago about this very subject. I am hug-non-hugger,lol…I have an issue with hugging people mainly when I feel uncomfortable around them, or when they call you weird or something for not wanting to hug. I have some issues when being hugged mainly by the male gender after an incident with a male friend. It’s not something I feel comfortable with explaining and feel like I shouldn’t have too. If I don’t want to hug, I don’t want too.

What is your least favorite Candy?

Anything with that aniseed flavour, I can’t do it. It just tastes horrible to me. My tongue does not like it.

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word “fun”?

Honestly, I think of my dog. She just loves us being around, and having “her family” around her and whenever we are around, she’s just fun. She even makes waking up pleasant, she’s so cute and wiggles a lot when we wake up. It’s hard not to feel like fun when something is just fun and lovely to be around.

List of Favorite Smells: What smells do you love? Whether it’s vanilla scented candles or the smell of coffee in the morning or the smell of a fresh spring rain…make a list of all the things you love for a little aromatherapy.

• When you first open up that new jar of instant coffee, moccona coffee, indulgence…Bliss!
• My dog sometimes has this popcorn smell when she’s been sleeping for a long time, mainly during Winter…Makes me hungry too,lol.
• I have this candle that I’ve only burned a bit the once, I loved the smell so much and when I went back to get more there were none left! So I’ll probably never burn it again.
• I love the smell of freshly mowed grass at the beginning of Spring, after Winter has started to die down.

However, there are some of us who do not enjoy hugs as discussed in this article by the (Huffington Post(Australia):  National Hug Day: A Horrible Holiday…I am actually really not a huggy person *listens for collective gasps and shocks* However, I am very comfortable with people hugging me who I am incredibly close too and I HATE when people think somethings wrong with me because I don’t actually like hugs and when people point it out, it makes me hate the hug even more and makes me wonder why they are so desperate to hug me. I have my reasons for hating hugs and they are good reasons, but you just gotta respect it.

Are you a hugger or a non-hugger?

It honestly depends who I am with, if I am comfortable I am totally a hugger and a cuddler too. If I feel uncertain (and that can change too) I wont feel comfortable hugging. I’ve hugged someone I didn’t feel comfortable hugging and it didn’t end well, so I learnt from that one! By “change” I mean (for example) there was a group of friends that I thought I was close too and hugged them all the time. However (and to be completely honest) as things changed …ie Younger and more ‘exciting’ models came in. There “true” friendships came out and I started to stop hugging them…Now I barely see any of them any-more.

What is your favorite toppings on pizza?

Woo, there is two that I really love and because of the vast difference between them. My two favourite are “Ham and Pineapple” and the other one is called here, at least, “Double Bacon Cheeseburger”.

If you were the original designer of one existing corporate logo, which one would you select?

I actually really had to think about this one! But  I am going to go ahead with my first thought. I thought of the Barbie Logo. It’s a globally well know logo, that has been standing the test of the time.

Complete this sentence:  Where I can seek my solace is… 

In the quiet of my bedroom, my bedroom is definitely my safe place. I definitely cannot find solace if I don’t feel safe.

Dedicated to Teddy Bears everywhere!

Trawling through Facebook today and it is terrifying me the hatred that is out there. I mean hatred by ALL men and women from all backgrounds not just one in particular. Do these people even realise that they even sound like the very people that they hate?

Anyways I was having a really hard time not giving into the fear and yelling at them all (by writing in cap-locks of course) and telling them how stupid they all are. Then I found this video. It’s time to all hug our teddy’s (press for link to article and video) If you ever feel scared and alone, just hug your favourite teddy (because it might not be a bear…Mine is a plush Lion and now a Olaf)
