Just a few of my favourite things…Halloween

Well first week of work down, and I had all these plans! The first night, my mum said that I looked like a zombie, haha

Which means that the last couple of days, I have been really struggling to think of anything to write. Which normally, I’d be fine with, but this is Halloween week! It’s like not having any “flow” at Christmas!

I am so tired, I just don’t want to do these blogs at the moment, haha. Excuse the lack of entertainment

Winter Favourites

Australia is now heading more and more into Winter…Never fear though! Now it’s time to crack out those Winter Time Favourites!

Winter Clothing:

I have a weakness for beanies. I used to really like ear muffs, but for some really weird reason, they make me feel off balanced.

Do you have any favourite Winter clothing, or accessory? 

Winter Food:

I have a favourite REALLY bad comfort food Winter dish, that I just love and I probably wont eat this Winter, because my cholesterol will go out the roof!…It’s two minute chicken noodles AND mac ‘n’ cheese.

Do you have a favourite Winter food?

Winter Drink:

There is nothing better than, well I think, a nice hot cup of tea on a cold Winters night. I can’t really drink coffee anymore, it heightens my anxiety. I hate drinking anything cold, but sometimes I get sick of drinking just tea. I also love hot chocolate or cocoa with marshmallows. I’m very much a kid at still really,lol.

What are some of your favourite Winter Drinks?

Winter Activities:

Of course above all my favourite activity is reading and writing. However this year I am (if you’ve been a regular reader of mine) I am planning on starting to make my own Candles. Who knows? Maybe this will become my favourite Winter activity! Maybe I’ll do this for Winter and Autumn, something else for Summer and Spring? Let’s see!

How do you like to spend a rainy day?

I love to curl with a cup of tea or coffee, depending on my mood. You will also probably find me playing one of my favourite computer games, either, Sims 4 or Guild Wars 2. Lately I have started roller-coaster tycoon lately.  I am also watching the Safari Live that I am obsessed with. You might also find me though cleaning the house. I find that if it’s a cold rainy day it helps me keep warm and keeps the heater off for a while (helps with the bills as well) but it also makes me feel like I’ve actually done something that day.

List at least five favorite treats. (They do not have to be sugary).

• I love these things called “Soy Crisps” except if I have too many, I will throw up though.
• There’s a yummy summer treat that I love making called “Rainbow ‘Broken Glass’ Jelly“. Link is too a YouTube video recipe. It’s really simply and you can use whatever colours you makes. I usually make them around the Summer/Christmas holidays.
• I loooooooooove chocolate custard and or mousse.
• Chocolate Chip cookies…Especially Double Chocolate Chips. I used to get just them at Subway, no sandwiches, and now I’ve discovered a recipe that I make myself =D
• I enjoy chewing on healthy fruits as well, sometimes I feel the need for them. My favourite fruits to chew on are granny smith apples (the green ones) and I love to eat banana’s.

Where’s your favorite place to take out-of-town guests?

We usually will take them for a walk around the city, which depends on the weather. A great place we like to take is this little German town called Hahndorf, it’s so quaint but is a great place for a holiday day out. it honestly depends on what the weather is like, most people come and visit around Summer/Holiday times. We have a couple of gorgeous of beach towns around as well.

You are trapped in an elevator, who would you want to be trapped with?

Definitely my partner, mainly because he’s the only one I could trust not to talk about my anxiety while we’re trapped in the elevator,lol

Favourite Places

27…My favourite place in my city….

I knew instantly in my head where my favourite place is in my city, my head honestly went straight there. I am very lucky in that there are some extremely beautiful beach towns and places and in my city. I am actually organising a room at one of these places for New Years. It’ll be Summer and they have fireworks on the beach we’re going too. We haven’t booked the rooms yet, but when tax time happens. I’m hoping to have enough money to book them (I should). We have some completely gorgeous beach towns, they are probably not as well known as Queensland, but every Summer time (Dec-Feb here) the beach towns are always booked.

Also though not being Queensland is something to be grateful for, because unlike a lot of the other major cities in Australia. You can plan things in the last couple of months. Rather than needing to organise your holidays nearly a year in advance. I went to Sydney for New Years once and my best raved how great it is on New Years…I honestly didn’t find that to be true. It was overcrowded and no space to sit and then trying to get home…It took nearly 3 hours to travel 30 minutes usually, just for a 15 minute firework display on the Sydney Harbor Bridge. That’s ridiculous and there is definitely not enough public toilets in the mean time either.

When you’re alone at home, do you wear shoes, socks, slippers, or go barefoot?

My feet get really cold whether it’s Summer or Winter, I must have really bad circulation or something. If you were to see me at home being myself with no one around I would most likely be wearing socks at the very least, during both warm and cooler weather.

What was your favorite food when you were a child?

I was a weird child, I actually really enjoyed my vegetables and I still enjoy eating Brussels sprouts. It’s funny because I don’t know why but I eat so much more junk food these days, probably something with it to do with being fast and easy ~.^ lol…I’ll enjoy the first couple of bites and then think “Why did I eat that?” Yet, when I eat vegetables or fruit, i seem to enjoy every bite.

Are you a listener or talker?

I am definitely a listener, I’m not sure if it’s because everyone I know is just louder than me or if that’s just the way I am too be honest,lol…It’s probably a little bit of both…I don’t mind being a listener though because I feel like that’s when I learn the most.

Favorite thing to (pick one):  Photograph?  Write? Or Cook?

I guess that I’d have to go with Writing, I love to do it and I really love doing it for myself especially. Every now and then I will just get in a mood and write, and write and write. I do also enjoy taking photos, but mainly of myself, my pets and honestly of scenery. All of which would probably bore a lot of people. Yet, sometimes the scenery pictures also get me motivated to write.

New book excitement!

I was so excited to read over this past week that one of my all time favourite authors Jodi Picoult is having a new book coming out and I am so excited! I haven’t bought a new Jodi Picoult book in a really long time.

It looks like an amazing book, not that I’m bias or anything. With most of Jodi Picoult books that are usually about some kind of topic that can cause some controversy. What I love the most about her writing is that she tends to write the book from every point of view and she does a lot of research for her books. I am not going to write a little short of the article, because I want to try and encourage you all to read the article. Instead of listening to just my point of view of the article and what I think.

At the moment I’m wearing my works official uniform. We only have to wear the uniform at the busy times of the year.
Have you ever been in love?
Oh, absolutely.
Have you ever had a terrible break up?
All of my break ups have been fine, a lot of the times we’ve broken up because it was the “right” thing to do. However, the way they all treated me a couple of weeks later. That was the terrible part, I actually said to my last ex it felt like all of my ex’s had all just secretly hated me, that’s how horrible they were. I still can’t understand it.
How tall are you?
I’m 5″2
How much do you weigh?
You should never ask someone that! My weight honestly has been going up and down a bit, especially when I hurt my leg and basically was doing nothing but sitting for a month.
Any tattoos?
Nope, I would really like one though. I know though I would get bored though and getting the tattoo off would be costly and apparently the lasers used to get them off are really painful.
Any piercings?
One on each ear.
OTP?
It’s funny, I like putting couples together from different television shows or from the same show but different characters. For example, Legolas and Arwen, River Song and Loki. I would have to say though at this moment I love Mary and Francis from the television show “Reign”.
Favorite Shows?
As mentioned above my favourite is probably Reign, but the other that I just love is Homicide Hunter, it has to be one of my favourites of all time.
Favorite Bands?
I’m one of those annoying people that can like everything. Just to name a few I like Enya, Nightwish, Marylin Manson, Jennifer Lopez, anything Celtic. I like what I like.
Something you miss?
I miss people using common sense,lol.

I have no favorite songs. I love them all equally. (Ditto)

I guess the ones that I’ve been faithful to over the years are: Orlando Bloom, Matt Smith, Ben Barnes … I seem to have a thing for the “tall, dark and handsome” type.

Depends on my mood.
Where do you go when you’re sad?
I go to my room, or sometimes to the shower.
How long does it take you to shower?
It can honestly depends, sometimes I just need a quick 10 minute shower sometimes I can stay in there for a good hour.
How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
I take about 30-45 minutes depending on how good of a sleep I got the night before and if I have my clothes organised from the night before.
Have you ever been in a physical fight?
Does fighting with my little brother count, when we were younger.

Some who genuinely finds everyone interesting.

When someone thinks the way a person “should” be.
What is the reason you started your blog?
I actually started it for a school project, where we had to learn about other social media sites.

“Official” fears are Octopuses, those things are freaky creepy and are way too smart!
The last thing that made you cry?
Well for some reason I couldn’t stop thinking about death. That happens to me sometimes, it just gets stuck in my head and for the next couple of days I have a hard time getting it out of my head.

Would have to be my boyfriend … or my dog,lol.

It’s hard to actually insult me, I’m so weird and crazy, I know100% that I’m not always considered “normal” to some. I respect those though who can tell me when I’m being crazy and “crazy”.

Nacho Cheese Doritos … I just love them, is that even a flavour?
What instrument do you play? 
I used to play the Piano, but I don’t anymore. I’m not sure how easily I could pick it up either.

I don’t usually wear jewellery that much, when I do it’s usually at least earrings.

I don’t really play Sports, the closest I come close to doing a sport is the general walking that I do.

Halloweenie is Here =D

So the day is here! I was cleaning the house yesterday so I didn’t have so much to do today…How clever am I =D Except for the whole loving with somebody else who still has to move their stuff.

So what is your favourite Halloween game, movie, food? Oh I am so excited…What are you going as? I am dressing up as “Miss Beetlejuice” and the costume fits so amazingly well, I can’t wait for people to see! =D Have a fun (and very safe) night =D

  1. “Uptown Funk” Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars…Not matter what, I stop, listen and dance =D
  2. “Wishing you were somehow here again” Phantom of the Opera…Not a happy song, but it reminds me of a couple of people close to me who have passed and it makes me cry.
  3. Anything Celtic, I just love the sounds. There has never been a celtic song that I’ve heard that I hate, the sound is beautiful!
  4. “Heart of Courage” Two Steps from Hell…It’s a really short song, but will fire you up!

  1. Lions (they have always been a top favourite of mine).
  2. Elephants, since watching the safari drives I have this whole new love for them. They are the cutest!

• Fun things for a rainy day

  2. I love playing my computer and catching up on them, or learning new ones.
  3. Sometimes I’ll do spring cleaning on these days.

• Things I want to have in my home (paintings, hot tubs, book cases, big screen tv etc)
  1. I still want one more shelf that can fit even more of my books, but some of my figurines too!
  2. I need a lamp in my room,lol
  3. I want a whole room dedicated to reading and where I can write my Blog, an office type thing
  4. For my dining room area, I would love to have a huge glass window outdoor area, that is connected from the inside to the outside. I have seen beautiful dining rooms that can walk out onto the patio like it’s one big dining area. Just beautiful!
