I’m doing a little bit of a twist on the Share Your World, meaning when it’s usually about sharing some questions that the beautiful Melanie (and sometimes Roy) share with us. What am I going to share with you, is what I like to do to celebrate the more “Americanised” Halloween.

Favourite Halloween Films:

I’m honestly, not into the scary films, like your very scary, violent films … Real life is scary enough after all.

Favourite Halloween Foods/Treats:

• Candy Corn…I think it’s delicious!
• I love making chocolate mousse and then putting gummy worms through it.
• I haven’t yet, but I do want too make mead!
• I do like toffee apples, but I can never get through it all.
• In the past, I have made popcorn with white icing, and candy corn. You have to use either salted popcorn or buttered, for a really good flavour. Nothing plain on Halloween! The white icing sticks the candy corn to the popcorn.
• I don’t know why, but I really love Oreos on Halloween.
• Smores…I’ve seen a recipes call them Ghost Smores, they just put little eyes on the peak.
• Hot Chocolate … with the Marshmallow!

Which tastes better: black or green olives?

Honestly…I don’t really like any kind of olive.

What’s your favorite room in your home?

It has to be between my bedroom and the lounge room. The reasoning behind that is sometimes if I’m in bedroom for too long. I start to feel cut off from everyone and that can feel a little confining. Being in the lounge can feel more opening, especially since the couches/lounge that we have is just so darn comfortable!lol

What fictional family would you be a member of?

I would love to be a member of the Undómiel. Which, for those who do not know. Is a Middle Earth family and consists of Arwen and Elrond and Galadriel.

This week I can definitely say my family. I got to spend a lot of the week with them before they all left to their various places. I love being with them, honestly if I could live with them all the time…I would!lol

In regards to puzzle what’s your choice: jigsaw, crossword, word search, mazes, logic or numeric puzzles, something else, or nothing?

I actually enjoy all of them. Except for numeric puzzles, mainly because though Maths is not my best skill. =P

List at least five favorite treats and it doesn’t necessarily have to be food.

• Peppermint sticks. I just bought a few of them recently, I haven’t had them for years! They are fantastic!
• Is there anything better than a bath with nice smelling candles?
• A hot chocolate on a cold Winters night.
• Anything nacho cheese Doritos flavoured, you just have to be careful that they don’t have palm oil in them.
• New clean sheets on the bed =D

What is your favorite type of dog? (can be anything from a specific breed, a stuffed animal or character in a movie)

I have always wanted, but I know I would never ever get. Would be either a Rottweiler or a Husky, or even the two together! I love how they are just so cuddly and they have such a horrible reputation. I’m sensible enough to know that I could never control them though, I am far too laid back.

What is your favorite color of hair? You can name your hair color or a color that you just like.

My natural hair colour is dark brown. I would love though to have fiery red hair…I’ve tried dying my hair, but I would have to completely bleach my hair to get that…Let’s be honest, it’ll probably look great after two washes, and that’s it. I am honest enough to know that I am too lazy to keep up the maintenance.

• I have a lot of stuffed animals and I love them all,lol

My partner just actually cuddling me…Cuddles and nothing else. Usually he tries to tickle me or “feel me up”, he doesn’t ever just “cuddles”,lol…He’s started this new habit as well very recently…If you’ve ever watched Shrek 2…They are on the way to meet Fiona’s “Mum and Dad” and on the way Donkey keeps clicking with his mouth in their ears…Yep, my partner keeps doing that,lol

How do you like your eggs?

I honestly like my eggs every way that you can think of, I don’t really dislike one way or the other. However, my favourite has to be scrambled egg. Just thinking about it, makes me hungry and I just had dinner!

Have you ever met anyone famous?

I kind of have. I’ve been to a lot of those “nerd type” conventions where people “Cosplay” and you meet and take photos with different types of pop culture icons. So technically I have, but I haven’t sat down and had a conversation with them. The ones that I’ve taken photos with (I’ll just name a couple..Mainly the ones I can remember):

• Benedict Cumberbatch…but he was so popular it was so quick!
• Jason Momoa…He was totally gorgeous! So tall…and mhmm =D He’s been my favourite so far, mainly because he was SO personable. I think that’s why he keeps doing them.
• Jewel Staite from Firefly and some others…I think she was in a Stargate as well?
• James Marsters – Spike from Buffy and Angel…He was so shy!
• I got a photo with a Dwarf and a Hobbit =D

I’ve got a folder full of the photos I’ve gotten over the years. I’m just waiting for David Borenaz and Matt Smith!

What was the first thing you bought with your own money?

I think it would have been a cd?…I am actually almost convinced that it was Hansons “mmmbop”.

When it comes to the #safarilive group, there are other cams that we watch when Safari Live isn’t on. It’s just been nice this week too just been chatting with them causally this week. We seem to have all had a semi rough week this week and it’s been nice just chatting with them all.

44. Your favourite Holiday

Without a doubt my favourite holiday is Christmas. It’s just my favourite time of the year. Have you ever seen this picture?

I just love what Christmas represents too me. It’s not even about the gifts, it’s about spending time with people that I love and who love me…and the food! It’s about family, sitting together, laughing and just having a good time together. Where for one day I am lucky enough to not worry about anything.

If you were given the opportunity to ride in a helicopter would go?

No! I get air sickness as it is. I can’t imagine my anxiety would much better either on a Helicopter either. Oh this sounds like a terrible idea! Let’s not do that idea!lol

What are some of your favorite type of proteins to eat? (meat, seafood, eggs, soy, cheese, nuts)

Can I say all of them? =D It’s my favourite food group! If I had to choose something for the rest of my life, it would have to be seafood. The rest I enjoy and to have to find something else to cook that isn’t meat would be hard for a bit. I would miss seafood though.

What would be your preference, awake before dawn, at dawn, or awake before noon?

Oh that’s made me think, it also depends on how well I’ve slept the night before.  I actually have no problem with waking before Dawn as long as I’ve slept well. I would definitely would want to be awake before Noon, that’s way to long of a sleep! I’d probably end up with a huge headache.

My own brain has inspired me this week. It’s fighting this week, it really truly is. It’s been one of those weeks where I just feel hopeless, but my mind keeps going, it keeps fighting.

What color do you feel most comfortable wearing?

This is an interesting question because there is actually a colour that I really love to wear, but normally when I’m feeling a bit more extroverted. I like to wear red when I’m feeling a bit “extra”, but I cannot wear it when I’m feeling shy. So this is a really interesting question. I do have this kind of awareness, that certain colours can project certain emotions. When I’m at work for example as well, I tend to wear, not all black, but darker colours. Colours like purples, blues. I do have a green top and I love the colouring of the green, but I haven’t been brave enough to wear it anywhere.

What is your favorite type of dog? (can be anything from a specific breed, a stuffed animal or character in a movie)

Although I do have and have had Pomeranian and Chihuahuas as the only dogs that we have ever had. The type of dogs that I have always wanted is either a Husky, or a Rottweiler. They just always seems like really sweet dogs especially when they are properly taken care. However, I will probably never get one because I know that they would be a lot to handle, I’m too laid back really.

1. Roses (I know, cliche)
2. Lilies…I know they are the “death flower” but they are so gorgeous!
3. Cherry Blossoms…They are so beautiful!
4. I actually kind of like cactus, they are sort of weirdly beautiful.
5. There’s nothing better than a big old oak.

I have had a lot happen this week, some good, some not so good…and this all I can think of…A lot of people like being treated like dirt…lol…Not the nicest of inspiration, but it was just something that I’ve noticed. I have always been of the mind of why make your life harder than it already is? I’m starting to wonder if some people actually enjoy it? It has inspired me in the way though that maybe I am normal,lol…I have more of a good self esteem. I might actually write  Blog about some things that have been happening to me this week, because it’s been a really odd week,lol
