Do I believe Johnny Depp is a serial abuser? No

Do I believe that Amber Heard being an abuser, makes it alright for someone else to be one? No

Do I believe that alcohol and drugs can sometimes make people do crazy things? Yes

Do I think his “fans” letting him off because of his looks (because we don’t actually know the guy) make them enablers and contribute to his downfalls? Yes.

DON’T BE AN ENABLER!

QUIT BEING “YES” FANS!

Let me put it another way…If that photo of Johnny was a photo of someone you cared about, what would you do? If you had seen the video Johnny and his anger towards Amber, but Amber was your family or your friend…Would you be alright with what he did?

I have had friends who are enablers. The irony is that they don’t realise it, until it’s too late. Don’t be that person! It’s okay that Johnny isn’t “perfect”, but he and we can do better!

How do you like your eggs?

I honestly like my eggs every way that you can think of, I don’t really dislike one way or the other. However, my favourite has to be scrambled egg. Just thinking about it, makes me hungry and I just had dinner!

Have you ever met anyone famous?

I kind of have. I’ve been to a lot of those “nerd type” conventions where people “Cosplay” and you meet and take photos with different types of pop culture icons. So technically I have, but I haven’t sat down and had a conversation with them. The ones that I’ve taken photos with (I’ll just name a couple..Mainly the ones I can remember):

• Benedict Cumberbatch…but he was so popular it was so quick!
• Jason Momoa…He was totally gorgeous! So tall…and mhmm =D He’s been my favourite so far, mainly because he was SO personable. I think that’s why he keeps doing them.
• Jewel Staite from Firefly and some others…I think she was in a Stargate as well?
• James Marsters – Spike from Buffy and Angel…He was so shy!
• I got a photo with a Dwarf and a Hobbit =D

I’ve got a folder full of the photos I’ve gotten over the years. I’m just waiting for David Borenaz and Matt Smith!

What was the first thing you bought with your own money?

I think it would have been a cd?…I am actually almost convinced that it was Hansons “mmmbop”.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination. 

When it comes to the #safarilive group, there are other cams that we watch when Safari Live isn’t on. It’s just been nice this week too just been chatting with them causally this week. We seem to have all had a semi rough week this week and it’s been nice just chatting with them all.

I am loving the place where I am currently working and I’m sad at the time time because it’s only for a month and I’m actually trying to move away for the area I am currently working at. However, one of my duties is, for the moment, Library duties and this book happened to pass across the check in table. One of the Librarians suggested that I take a look at it as it was writing by someone who in the past had done our creative writing course. Which I thought was very exciting, and kind of sad, because we don’t have the course anymore.

Needless to say that it has completely inspired me and I have even found her on Goodreads, with really good reviews. Between reading this and writing all weekend, I’m surprised that I’ve even had time to sit down and write any Blog post whatsoever! It truly did inspire me.

What genre of music do you like?

I am one of those annoying people who likes what I like. It doesn’t matter about the genre (except for that screaming heavy death metal genre) if I like the song I like. Some genres I’ll also like better depending on what my mood is…and whether or not I’ve been drinking =D

What is the worst thing you ate this last week?

It was surprising really, myself and my partner went and tried this new Asian type restaurant (because he could not find the one he wanted to take me too). Everything was really nice, except for the pork dumplings. They were basically a clump of watery, something. They were pretty bland and was just a big clump of water really.

Would you like to be famous?  In what way?

It depends on the fame I suppose? If it was fame that set myself up and the rest of those I care about for life, I could live with the rest of it. I would also love it if I could use my fame for good, like showing the plight of endangered animals. I really want to help them!

Here are your questions for this week

What’s your favorite charitable cause and why?  

I donate to a few, but the one that I love donating too is our Guide Dogs. I have a special soft spot to animals just in general, generally because they are way kinder than humans and they cannot speak to us, so we have to listen to them even harder. Animals can bring comfort and  a special kind of friendship to those who are blind.

What color do you feel most comfortable wearing?  

Oh this is an interesting, there are two colours that I feel most comfortable wearing. When I went to look nice but remain comfortable and more “inconspicuous” I like to wear Blue. When I want to stand out though, I love wearing Red. I have had many people say that “Red” is my colour.

If you had your own talk show, who would your first three guests be? (guest can be dead, alive, famous or someone you just know) Good Question! (Took me a while to think of some answers)

• My Great Grandfather, not only do I miss him SO much, but he had such an interesting mind! Very ahead of his time.
• Gene Kelly (just LOVE him).
• Oprah…I think she’s interviewed and covered the most interesting topics and people, she’s had an very interesting life. I believe she’s got a very interesting and open mind.

List:  What are at least five places you’ve enjoyed visiting?

• Queensland, beautiful people and beautiful place…Always semi-warm too!
• Arizona and the UK (I’ve put these two together because I’ve family and friends in both these places).
• Our local Zoo … I know that Zoo’s keep getting a bad rap lately, but the really good Zoo’s (like my local one) are great educational and awareness tools!
• I love going to the beach when it’s nice and cool, not to hot and not too windy either!
• Then there’s my “secret place” it’s a couple of hours drive and when I go there I tend to stay the entire weekend.
