Have you ever participated in a distance walking, swimming, running, or biking event? Tell your story.

No I have never. I’m just not that into those kind of events. I walk and go for walks with my dog and I dance, but those are all for my pleasure and in my own time.

Name one thing not many people know about you.

A lot of people in my life don’t know about this Blog. I’m not ashamed of it. One of the problems in living in a small town, people like to gossip and not to you, but rather about you. This is just a personal thing, just for me. Where I don’t have to write about something that means something to me and get into an argument with someone because they think it’s about them…When it’s not. If it is about someone I don’t write “friend of a friend” I will literally say my friend, or a family member. My Blog is also a lot about me and what’s going on in my mind and how I’m feeling about something.

What is your favorite flower?

It would have too be between just a simply beautiful rose and a gorgeous Lily. Depending on my mood and what the occasion is. Lilies are well known more for being a “death flower” but they are simply gorgeous!

Things I want to have in my home (paintings, hot tubs, book cases, big screen tv etc)

I think a shorter answer would be “What wouldn’t I want in my home”. So I’ve come up with a list below of the things I would really just love to in my “fantasy” type home. :

  • Spa Bath
  • At least two toilets…Seems like a weird thing, but my Mum’s house has two and my partners has only one and it is amazing how more comfortable things are with two toilets.

Exercise!!!

Probably not the first words that you want to see on a Monday morning…or maybe you do, I’m not here to judge you and your freakish ways (I am totally not being serious by the way ~.^).

However, I came across this article over the weekend and I thought that I would share it with you.

A new Canadian study finds exercise, anger may trigger heart attacks

According to the article going out to do a “full-on” exercise routine when you are particularly angry may actually increase your chances of getting a heart attack. I guess because working out when you are angry increases, pretty much everything. Your heart rate increases, your breathing does…EVERYTHING!

Which I found interesting, because I don’t know about everyone else, that’s the time I go out and have a long quick walks. I used to do them all the time in a past relationship! I used to just take off and go for a long walk.

Being angry or upset doubled the risk of suffering heart attack symptoms within an hour; heavy physical exertion did the same. Having both at the same time more than tripled the risk for a heart attack. The risk was greatest between 6 p.m. and midnight, and was independent of other factors such as smoking, high blood pressure or obesity.

I guess my question to you is what would you do instead? Do you, my lovely readers, have other ways to calm yourself down? Personally, I like listening to music, to soothe me.

Cleaning Spritz!

I am a weird human being, I actually enjoy cleaning…Okay, I enjoy cleaning up my stuff and the mess I made. When I go to somebody else’s house though I will help clean up, but I don’t enjoy it…Cleaning up my own room, my own house, my partners house…I really get a kick out of it.

We are heading into Winter, here Down Under. So not only is cleaning kind of a meditation for me, but it’s a good work out as well and keeps me nice and warm. I have also been trying to get rid of things and stuff, it’s been going on for about two years now and I am still going. Sure, it’s like one bag every three months or so, but I have a lot of stuff!

In your native language which letter or character describes you best?  Why?

I wish that I spoke another language, I’ve always wanted to speak Spanish or Elvish (lol), unfortunately though I only speak English =/

What is your greatest extravagance?

I know what I would like to be extravagant about. In fact just the past weekend I went to a convention and this convention was one of those “nerdy/geeky” type of conventions. They had a couple of stores there that had some gorgeous figurines and I told my partner “I wish I had enough money so I could have a house with a room for just “stuff” lol

Do you prefer exercising your mind or your body? How frequently do you do either?

It actually depends, I’ve been really badly injured in my leg over the last couple of weeks. Which has meant a lot of sitting around and a lot of thinking. I’ve been trying to get into my exercising my body a lot more, but I’ve kind of hit a snag obviously,lol. I’ve always felt though you have to exercise both as you see fit, you need to listen to your body and mind and see what they need.

List at least 5 things that makes you laugh.

  1. My puppy when she has one of her “crazy minutes” and runs about the house.
  2. Any good comedy shows, sometimes I need to watch one before bed.
  3. My partner when he relaxes, he can be quite silly,lol
  4. There is a Drag Queen that I LOVE (apart from my brother, he’s the best one out there!) and her and her brother have this YouTube channel that I have just discovered and it’s amazing! Search for “Bro’Laska” in YouTube.
  5. Pretty much any cute animal/animal fail video…Check those out too,lol

What do you do to make a living or during the day if you are retired.  If you are a student what are you studying?

My main source of income is through working our local Tafe (which is kind of like America’s College’s). It’s only casual work so I can go from working all five days to no shifts at all. Since they’ve hired a bunch of new casuals, I’m getting even less shifts than I did before. So I’m looking for something else now. I also do Volunteering and I just finished my studies. It’s been really weird not having any homework, so now I’m doing more crafts. Hopefully will be able to make money from it if I get good enough!

No, I know a LOT of people who do those sorts of things every year. However, because I don’t have a license I walk around a lot. I also have a xBox Kinect and I play a lot of dancing games on there.

What is usually your first thought when you wake up? 

It honestly depends where I wake up,lol…My partners bed actually gives me a bad back,lol. So when I wake up at his house I tend to be in a little bit of pain. When I wake up at my house, I can’t lie, I feel good,lol.
