As you can see by the title tomorrow night is World Book Night. It is held on the 23rd of April and is there to celebrate William Shakespeare birth and death.
The reason I am posting about it now is press the link and you can see where the places where they are holding events tomorrow night…World Book Night – Events…You can also check out the numerous Facebook pages, by just typing in “World Book Night” into the Facebook search bar.
I am so completely envious as this event seems to be only held in the UK and the USA, I would love to have something like this down under!
So I was ask the question today “What music am I ashamed to admit that I like” and I gave back my honest answer “I don’t have any”. I like Marilyn Manson just as much as I enjoy Enya and I enjoy Rammstein (can’t understand a word they say) just as much as I have enjoyed songs from One Direction. I love Selena Gomez as much as I love Joan Jett.
I love what I love.
I don’t really understand this whole if you like a certain type of music there’s something wrong or right with you. To me music is about how it makes you feel, how you relate to it. I feel sometimes that I am the only one that still feels like music is about how it touches your life. If it makes you sad, glad or mad.
So when someone tells you suck for liking the music that you do, play this in your head!

Well…I finally got around to seeing the above movie title “The Hobbit…The battle of five armies”…What can I say? I am emotionally drained. While I don’t want to give to much away, I mean it must have affected me in some way, I feel really emotionally drained. The only other time that I’ve felt like this was after break ups. I guess though it is more than likely the end of an era. I keep randomly bursting into tears.
I realised a little while ago as well, all of these JRR Tolkien, Peter Jackson movies have been around in some form or another for HALF my life. I guess when something has been in your life for that long, I guess it does feel like a little like I have to “let it go”. I mean how often is anything these days in your life for half your life. I mean how marriages started and ended during 2001 and ?lol.
I have to say that I enjoy it, I did feel though like a lot of others it seems, there were just some scenes that should have been left as it had originally written. I don’t even mind the whole love triangle thing right up until it killed a scene that really should have been between two other major characters that were actually in the book.
It’s just so weird though! I feel SO drained, I think unless you’ve felt like this it is hard to explain. Can you be in love with a fictional character? Can a fictional character truly represent everything you want in a man…or dwarf in this case. Even with all of his faults, there is something about Thorin Oakenshield that I am completely and utterly in love, and that’s what it feels like, I can’t help it. I am a 30 year old women, it feels totally crazy to feel like this. Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield makes me feel like somehow being human and not being apart of the world that is Middle Earth, I am lost here. I don’t fit in here, I fit in there…Yet, it is totally not reality.
On a completely different subject, completely loved Legolas!

Remember to watch in HD!
I cannot believe that I have not written about this before! About once a month myself and a group of girls (although guys are very welcomed to join us as well) and we do crafts! This can be anything from sewing, making little clay-type characters, colouring in (for those who have come with a hangover)…Anything!
The reason for my post today is that I am looking for ideas for my current project. I recently bought a unique figurine for a beautiful little dragon, it’s no bigger than average size of a women’s hand. I have decided to make a little nest for it, in my room…YAY to inner child! I’ve got the basket I want for it and I am going to be making it a little more nesty….BUT…I have no idea what I should put in there as well?
SO it’s a Saturday Night here and it’s all warm and uncomfortable “Down Under”. Been trying to think of what to do, since I have the house to myself tonight.
The reason I am writing this Blog is because thinking of what has happened this week, I’ve never felt more alone and felt more like I wish that I had at least one person who lived in my country, actually would talk to me about my problems and someone I could actually rely on. Then I started to feel really down about myself.
Then I thought to myself, I shouldn’t feel sad! There is so much that I can be grateful about and SO WHAT if I’m not going out this weekend. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, I even looked up some online dating sites. I’ve made a promise to myself. If I don’t meet someone between now and the New Years. As soon as the New Year happens I will be registering onto one of those dating sites. I’ve already seen one or two guys I actually liked the look of.
Here are some rules for surviving a single night by yourself:
- Do NOT watch videos, listen to songs and watch tv shows that say how horrible being single is.
- Buy yourself that food you can eat when no one else is around
- Drink all the bad things, but do not get drunk!
- Dress in the most comfortable clothing you own.
- Dance like no one is watching and turn that music up LOUD!
- Stay OFF of Facebook
- Turn off your phone (or at least keep it on vibrate).
I promise you, you follow those steps and you will have a very successful single night in =D In fact you may never want to go out ever again!
