Ladies, Google is free

One of my wishes, but probably wont come true. Is that TERFs actually learn something. I doubt it, especially after what I saw.

I wont go into too much details, but we really do need to start talking about sex education and bodies in general when we’re younger. I saw a group of “older woman” call a trans person a ‘moron’ because they were talking about period poops. The older women were talking like this trans person was making it up.

Period Poops are a real thing.

As I said above, I wont get into details. These “women” were making complete asses out of themselves.

Then there was “Rob” who was complaining about how the left was “making” him have to like people, like immigrants, like trans people, like Unions. (retweet if you agree…blah, blah, blah). I pointed out that no one is saying he HAS to like anyone. What the left actually want, is for people like Rob, is just too let others live in peace. Especially those who have no affect on your life whatsoever.

I feel under no obligation to like people like Rob.

It’s true though

I wish I could actually find the saying. But I saw an amazing quote about “Critical Race Theory” and why so many white Governors, and parents want it banned. It’s because, there’s nothing there for white people to be “proud” of. Let’s be honest, if there was something that white people could be proud of, they would have NO problems with teaching it.

But like I say myself. I have issues with my hamstring and sometimes my sciatic nerve. Here’s the thing, it’s like the pain in my leg. I didn’t cause the pain in my leg. If I don’t do things to help heal it, not only will the pain stay, it will only get worse. So I do things to heal it. When I feel the pain, I do things to make sure it doesn’t get worse. I will probably always have it, but I know how to heal it. If I work on it, it will take time, but I might even been able to help it completely, but it will take time.

No more talking

I am so OVER the hard right, saying that “Liberals” and the Left want to silence the Right. They don’t want to silence anyone, they just want people to think about others. Think about the consequences of what their words and actions have done and do do. I’ve said it once, I will say it again, America’s arrogance that they’re the greatest country and full of the greatest people, there’s no problem with America, will be it’s downfall. By voting Trump, by the PEOPLE…That has been proven to be true.

Here in Australia, we are a good country, but it would be arrogant of myself to say we are the greatest, we simply are not. We’re better than America though =P

As an outsider, this is what I think America needs

A better education system.

I was horrified people, HORRIFED people. When I witnessed a conversation on Facebook.

I went on to write a post, that only people who knew would know. When I saw the conversation.

Someone asked another person “Are you saying that you would have no problem with a Doctor opening you up without a mask on”. Then the conversation got silly, because they started to talk about Walmart and how Doctors wouldn’t open you up there.

However, it went on and this MOTHER OF CHILDREN said and I quote “Are you saying that I would be less at risk from a deadly infection, if a Doctor opened me up (at Walmart), if they slapped a mask on their face”.

For some reason, people had either given up with this person, or just didn’t come back to Facebook yet. So I replied and “Yes”.

Also though, my partner made a good point that I then pointed out too them. This mother has young children, so I asked her “Are you teaching your children to cover there mouths when they sneeze? Doesn’t matter if it’s with their hands or their elbows. Are you teaching them to cover their mouth when they sneeze?”.

America doesn’t need guns, doesn’t need prayers, doesn’t even really need a President…No country really NEEDS one person governing it. What every country needs in a good education and America is in DESPERATE need of it. I think that if the US had good education, everything else would just fall into place. INCLUDING GOOD HEALTH PRACTICES.

Did you know?

Did you know that Australia didn’t have their “Australian Anthem” until 1984…I didn’t even know that! (Fantastic year though!) I found that out because of this douchebag…This is a Minister for Education -.-

So if we didn’t even HAVE the Australian Anthem, how can they have fought for the “anthem”? …That didn’t exist … Fact is, they didn’t. We had to stand under “God Save the Queen”… Surely a Minister for Education should know this basic information?

As @DoodyDarren said though: (I feel a few Americans can relate to this one!)

Our veterans didn’t fight for the anthem (or flag). They fought for their friends, family and the rest of us. They fought for PEOPLE. The anthem is supposed to represent us, but when we are divided (mostly due to politicians) it fails, and protest is warranted. #qldpol #auspol

Luckily, pretty much all of the respondents on the post were common sense.

I started…

I cannot believe that I forgot to mention this to pretty much everyone, except for my partner.

I started an online course to do health administration. Which are the receptionist/front desk people at General Practices, Dentist, etc. I am honestly, excited to be doing it. I am already learning the differences between viruses, bacteria, pathogens etc. I started at the beginning of this week (online, so I can keep working) I’ve already passed one test and I handed up my first assignment today.

It has been really nice learning something again. I think that learning is just something I’ll be doing for the rest of my life. Learning and Studying. I’ve been trying to get into courses on how to start your own business, but they are just all so expensive! I’ve been finding with this online course, I can keep working, learn and hopefully get myself something more permanent.

Share Your World, 9th July, 2018

What would you name the autobiography of your life?

Oh, this is a hard one! I’ve come up with a couple…”Life Lessons with Lolly”, “Walks with Lolly”…Something with my nickname in it.

Which do you prefer sweet, salty or buttery? 

Can I have all three together?lol…It honestly depends. There is this popcorn called Johnny’s popcorn “sweet and salty”. It is SOOOOOOOO good, but the combination isn’t great on everything. If I had to chose though, I’d do with healthy sweet,lol.

What’s the finest education?

This is going to sound SO lame…Life is truly the finest education. I believe everyone should go to school, it helps gives you the basics (well they should, not all do). Of course there are specialised. Everything else we learn from our every day life to life.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination. 

This has been a great week! Last week was so uncertain, but this week has been fantastic! I got all the things I need to start creating for my little business. The bag that I thought was gone after I tried to find it, last week, I got a call saying someone had found it. Everything was still in it!

A good Education

25. Education 

I do feel very fortunate that I was able to get a good education through the Public School system. I was very lucky with one teacher in particular, VERY lucky. If it hadn’t have been for him I would have never have realised that I suffered from Dyslexia.

I should start from the beginning…

Although I was lucky with the schools that I got into, the teachers weren’t exactly the best kind. They had their favourite smart students and pretty much the rest of us, were sort of ignored. I would get the same remarks over and over and over again, great ideas, your sentence structure is all mixed, even my English teacher made these remarks and she still did nothing. Why worry, when you’ve got the first group of really smart students in the same group. These students were the first group of “special students” who were ‘smarter than your average bear’.

It was SUCH a frustrating experience, I’d have the exact same ideas as my A+ friends, but something was always wrong with my “sentence structure”. My teachers just had their favourites, even my Drama teacher. He said for the big play he was going to let us audition and get in a real life experience. Then when we came back from holidays, he just gave the parts out…To the people we all know he was going too, and I got a walk on part.

Who knows…Maybe if I had an actual positive experience, where I would have gone? Even know I still think…Maybe I should do something…

UNTIL!

I started studying Classical Studies (Ancient Histories) and I was getting the same comments. However, my teacher actually pulled me aside and said that every major project he wanted to see me one-on-one. I had great ideas, but my sentence structure was all wrong. So I started to see him one-on-one before handing in my projects…Guess What…I got all A’s and B’s for that class…Amazing! It made me love Ancient History, it made me love learning and I felt less stupid…Which was probably the most rewarding things of the whole experience.

 

Finally!

After what seems like the whole of my life, I FINALLY got my Parchment today!

Wild Earth Safari

Since the beginning of October I have been watching a web cab feed called “Wild Earth Safari” and in Australia they run from 2:30pm-5:30pm and 12:30am to 3:30am. The web cam feed runs until January the 31st (although I, and many others, have asked, if there is any possibility of them running longer than that).

These feeds are taken from the game reserves of Djuma Game Reserve and Arathusa Safari Lodge in the Sabi Sand Wildtuin. You can all sorts of animal Lions, Leopards, Hippos, Ellies and Impala…Oh My!

They have experienced rangers and guides that drive around and along the way for the couple of hours they are with you. They will inform, and educate on a wide range of the flora and fauna of the animals and plants within their game reserves. They are incredibly good teachers and even when you see the true side of nature and the wild. They remind of you of “This is nature”.
