Dreaming

I know that I have written about this before, but it’s been a while. I love to dream, but unfortunately, we cannot always control what we dream of. As I experienced. It was a total nightmare, the most scariest dream I have ever had. I include the one that I still remember from childhood. Which was of a huge black and white snail eating me alive.

It was my ex best friend trying to apoligise.

Hahahahaha…

I always have wondered if she ever did (she will never), how I’d react. I know that dreams aren’t a 100% factual situation. When I woke up though, I don’t want her to apoligise. I just want to live my life, you know? If she did, would I have to say a thing? I did wonder what I’d say, but after that dream. I don’t have to say a damn thing.

Does that surprise you?

Every year when my birthday comes around, I like to let myself dream. About the past year, about the year coming. What I’d like to achieve, what I have actually achieved. What might be possible in the next year.

I like to day dream more at this time of the year, than New Years. For myself, birthdays are the day of renewal for each of us. I like to day dream about silly things, how I can draw really well, all the visions and images that I have in my head. I really need to learn to draw. I like to day dream about the successful books I had written (both not actually happened).

About the celebrities…hahaha….

I have always wanted to be an Ice-Skater, they just all look so beautiful in the ice! They almost feel like they’re floating sometimes. I have always loved Torvill and Dean, and I have their film on DVD. I was obsessed when I was a child. I’d go over my Grandparents and watch “Fire and Ice”.

A piece of clothing from your younger childhood you still remember?

I do. I have a dress, it’s kind of hard to describe, but I looked so cute in it! It was a mid blue, sports style with a hood. It had these white and black checker pockets too,lol. I LOVED it! Good quality too, it lasted for quiet a while. I had to stop wearing because I grew out of it.

In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?

Although I cannot actually drive. I am starting to learn, but I’d rather not be doing that. I’m doing it mainly because I feel I have too. With myself and my furbabies getting unexpectedly sick and my Dad having a triple instead of a double bypass. I feel like I have too now. I prefer being the passenger though.

What do you do when you’re not working? If you are retired, what do you that is not part of your regular daytime routine?

I love to play computer games, both on a console and on a pc. I’ve also gotten into mediation recently, it’s really helping me with the anxiety issues. I actually really enjoy taking my dog for a walk, if she’s not involved, I do not enjoy it so much…She’s so cute, because she gets herself so excited, she’s exhausted before we get out the door,lol

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Oh wow, what wouldn’t I do?!lol … I would pay off both my parents mortgage and I would then by myself a nice house, which hopefully I could design from the bottom up, with my own Library. I would also love a beach house, but I’d rent that out during the Winter,lol…Travel would definitely be in the immediate future.  I would love to help as animal sanctuaries/zoo’s/places as I could.

What makes you laugh the most?

Probably my pets too be honest, they’ll do a movement, or a little sound and it’s so silly, it just makes me laugh. I also feel terrible for admitting this but those animal type fail videos, they make me laugh too. I think a lot of it is too do with their reactions after, they look at the camera like they are saying “What”lol

What is your biggest pet peeve with modern technology?

Stupid people have access to it!lol

What’s your strongest sense?

As long as I haven’t burnt my tongue, I think that my taste is probably my strongest sense (I’m assuming we’re talking about the 5 senses here) As soon as I start eating I usually can taste a lot in it, including that special taste of “I really need to stop eating this”lol

Which of Snow White’s 7 dwarfs describes you best? (Doc, Happy, Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Grumpy, Dopey)

It’s probably somewhere between Happy and Bashful. It honestly depends on how well you know me, if I don’t know you very well, I would probably be more bashful. I’m still happy, but I am definitely a lot more shy. If you know me well I would probably be a lot more happier.

If you could be one age for the rest of your life, what age would that be?

I probably would have stayed 30, but as long as I get to keep the people that I have in my life right now, and the people who are not apart of it now, still aren’t apart of it. That year that I turned 30 was probably my best year ever and I constantly wish that I could relive it. It seemed like once I turned 31 everything started to feel more frustrating, my body just started breaking up/down and I was getting nowhere with getting a library job. If I could just be 30 now with everything that I have in my life now, I’d be so happy.

Not only did I get a great accidental photo of this smiling fruit …

but I got it…I got my first step into my dream job =D

I have been fighting to get a position in the Library field, for such a long time now, and in a small town it is an incredibly hard feat. Once you tend to get into a Library here, you tend to be in it for life. Even with all my education and volunteer work, I wasn’t even getting close. I always got overlooked for other people who were already in the industry, but wanted to work at the location I wanted too. I came pretty close earlier in the year, but nope.

It was literally a catch 22, I was always told, you would fit in great here and we wanted to give you the first step in the door, but we’re going to give the job to someone whose already working.
