Appreciate a Dragon Day

Well, who doesn’t love a Dragon!

Mother of Dragons

Anne Stokes

Oriental Dragons,

I love them all! I don’t think there is a Dragon, I don’t love. Even the real ones! There are dragons all over my room. The Appreciate A Dragon Day has been celebrated since 2004. Donita K. Paul has established this special Day as to appreciate the dragons which thought to be lived and the ones that are living in the literature and imagination. She has created such a Day to celebrate the release of her book, DragonSpell.

There are numerous ways available in which you can appreciate a Dragon. As it is a Day for literature, you can indulge in reading books that let you know more about the dragons, its history, origin, and historical significance. Let out your creativity to paint, draw, or make dragon pictures. Tell your children a story of the dragons. You can even organize a dragon puppet show in the nearby location. Start collecting stuffed dragons and you can take pictures and share it on the social media using the hashtag #AppreciateADragonDay.

So appreciate your Dragons!

St George Day

(I’m English and I love Anne Stokes)

St George’s Day in England remembers St George, England’s patron saint. The anniversary of his death, which is on April 23, is seen as England’s national day. According to legend, he was a soldier in the Roman army who killed a dragon and saved a princess.

Little Wings

I have spent this entire last week completely sick, it’s been horrible! Usually, when I get a cold or flu it lasts for a couple of days and then it’s over, sometimes I might have a cough, but usually I’m not sick for long. I’ve had this thing for like 5 days, and it’s only just starting to get a little better.

However, one of the things that has gotten me through is my own little plush Dragon from the awesome Dragon Lady Art, and you have only a few days left to get make sure that you can get your own! I try really hard not to “advertise” but everyone who knows me, knows that I love Dragons and I loooooooooove projects like these! I am so disappointed that I can’t really justify getting another one at this point, and being a little selfish here too. I want to be able to get another later on,lol.

The Dragon’s Loyalty Award is meant to acknowledge those who regularly read and comment on your blog. The rules for it are pretty simple:
–Show off your achievement by displaying the award.
–Link back to the person who bestowed this award upon you.
–Nominate up to 15 of your regular readers (less than 15 is just fine, though).
–Let them know that they’ve been nominated.
–Share 7 interesting facts about yourself.

Seven interesting facts about me:
1- I’m more of a “dancer” in the shower, rather than a singer.
2- I used to have a “dream diary” and I will kill you all if you try to find it =P lol
3- I am into Reiki http://www.reikiaustralia.com.au/
4- I have always preferred vegetables and fruits over everything else, I was always the weird one,lol
5- I am actually not a chocolate person, I have to be in the mood to eat it…I like my chips/crisps much more!
6- I am really enjoying the tv show Gotham and I am honestly really surprised.
7- I have such a diverse life, I have people from all walks in my life. It’s great!

Now, I’m supposed to nominate 15 regular readers and alert them all of said nomination, but I am just going to nominate a few (possibly I would love to know more about them ~.^) It’s up to them whether or not they want too do  it.

Crafternoon!

I cannot believe that I have not written about this before! About once a month myself and a group of girls (although guys are very welcomed to join us as well) and we do crafts! This can be anything from sewing, making little clay-type characters, colouring in (for those who have come with a hangover)…Anything!

The reason for my post today is that I am looking for ideas for my current project. I recently bought a unique figurine for a beautiful little dragon, it’s no bigger than average size of a women’s hand. I have decided to make a little nest for it, in my room…YAY to inner child! I’ve got the basket I want for it and I am going to be making it a little more nesty….BUT…I have no idea what I should put in there as well?

Any ideas?
