Of course it’s okay and completely natural to feel “blue” every now and then.
But: The reason why Disney Princesses wear Blue
So if you are feeling a little “blue” try to wear a little Blue.

Now this is something that I had never noticed before and now it completely freaks me out!lol
Disney Princesses without fingernails
It shouldn’t even really bother me that much, but it is just so freaky! I mean I am always that person that says “It’s just a fairy tale”, but I’ve always had a thing about fingernails…Dirty fingernails are just a dead turn off, and no fingernails…Is just freaky!lol
(Just posting here, I am not posting any spoilers … So please do not post any spoilers in the comments)
I’ll just start off by saying that yes, this another Star Wars: The Force Awakens (IMDb) post. The funny thing is I am not “fanatic” per-say, but I do enjoy the Star Wars (not the ones that were made in the 00’s … They were just truly horrible). I do have to say though that this new Star Wars is actually really pretty darn good. It is extremely relevant and very familiar to the originals, so if you are a fan of the originals, I would highly suggest that you go out and see it.
My favourite character in the whole film is definitely Finn (played by John Boyega). He has the right amount of fun, combined with the perfect element of cowardly heroism (trust me, you will get that reference). I can just see a whole new generation of little girls wanting to be like Rey (played by Daisy Ridley) and can see a lot of “Reys” at the next conventions.
The Force Just Got A Little Sparklier As These Disney Princesses Get A ‘Star Wars’ Makeover

I have been noticing lately that my posts have been a little bit depressing, I hate being mad and sad, I really do hate it, but hey, I can’t be perfect 100% of the time =P Something about birthdays that make me depressed, it’s not the getting older part. It’s the way that I always feel like something is missing from my birthdays. Either I get a whole pile of presents that make me feel guilty because I look at them and go “Do you people know me at all?” and you have to do something with them…
Anyways, there is this site that I love called “Oh My Disney” http://blogs.disney.com/oh-my-disney/
I love this site, they have so many types of Blogs based all on everything Disney related. One I reently happened to stumble upon was Belle’s Fashion tips.
It is really quite interesting, it takes a look at all of Belle’s fashion style and what she wears, but the main emphasis being on “be yourself” wear your style, your way. Go and have a look!
Welcome to another Monday morning folks, now all sit back, pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee as Lolsy’s Library proudly presents a collaboration of Disney Princess songs (mainly because it’s got my favourite two Princesses and their songs right at the start! Hey, it’s my “birthday week”). What could be a more magical way to wake up on a Monday morning…Maybe some Disney Villains, if Princesses aren’t your thing…

This isn’t exactly “Friday” today and I apologise for the slackness in my blog posting this week.
On November the 22nd 1991 a little Disney film was released. A little film that would become one of Disney’s biggest successes ever and at the time the only Disney film nominated for a”Best Picture” Academy Award.
(Please press picture for more IMDb information)
This film has my favourite Disney Princess in it, Belle has always be the Disney princess that I have been able to relate to the most. The song below really explains my entire life. Belle was one of my inspirations to become a Librarian. Others do definitely think that I am a Beauty, but definitely…”Odd”
Today is a public holiday in my state of Australia and I have been really struggling to decide what to write for today’s Magical Monday post. I think I have done enough “misery and heartbreak” posts and I am going to be positive =D
So what to do…what to do…I woke up this morning after a lovely sleep in, which I have not had in the last couple of months. It is amazing how having just one morning to sleep in can make you feel so well and happy =D That’s when I had a spark of imagination, why not talk about my second favourite Disney princess!
Now I say second, but especially with the whole new bunch of Disney princesses that have come out over the last few years, that list seems to be changing a lot these days! Sleeping Beauty though has always been a favourite of mine. I am definitely a good sleeper! I have just always thought that she was so beautiful and since I am a dark beauty of course I want to be the opposite of everything that I am! ~.^ I love her long wavy golden hair, her eyes are purple…I have always wanted purple eyes. Also I have the same love as she does, running through forests.
Aurora (also known as Sleeping Beauty) isn’t always in the group pictures of the other classic Disney Princess (mainly because she is asleep for a good quarter of it). I think though, she is just as lovely and sings with just as many of the forest animals as any of the other Disney princesses. Also I think that she has one of the best songs. Every girl (and boys too!) has at least once in their life felt like this about someone.

If you haven’t already though you NEED to see Maleficent with Angelina Jolie. The film is stunningly beautiful, the acting is utterly gorgeous. It is a great story from the point of Maleficent, the Sorceress (bad fairy) who puts the curse on Aurora where she will prick her finger on her 16th birthday.
A little history on Sleeping Beauty:
There are many different versions of the Sleeping Beauty the “The Beauty Sleeping in the Wood” by Charles Perrault or “Little Briar Rose” (German: Dornröschen) by the Brothers Grimm is a classic tale involving the princess, a sleeping enchantment and a handsome prince. The version collected by the Grimms was an orally transmitted version of the originally literary tale published by Charles Perrault in “Histoires ou contes du temps passé” in 1697. This was based on “Sun, Moon, and Talia” by Giambattista Baslie (published posthumously in 1634).
In the Grimms version Maleficent is the 13th fairy, where as in Perrault’s version she is the 8th fairy.
Alfred Lord Tennyson wrote two poems based on Sleeping Beauty.
In one version an Ogre lineage is a major part of the story.
This week has definitely been feeling like it has a magical type feeling behind it. What if i was to tell some truths behind some of the most famous Disney fairy-tales?
Beauty and the Beast
Beauty and the Beast is probably one of my most favourite Disney movies and Belle is my favourite Disney princess.
The “real life” is pretty accurate expect for a couple of little differences that don’t really make too much of a shocking difference. Belle’s father is actually extremely rich but is in extreme debt. The other major difference is that Belle has two stepsisters (not so much of a shocker in a fairytale)…The Beast allows Belle to go home as long as it is only for a week. Belle’s step-sisters try to keep Belle at home for longer than that in the hopes that the Beast will be so mad at her he will eat her alive!
The Lion King
It may not seem like such a stretch when you really think about it. “The Lion King” is apparently loosely based on the Williams Shakespeare play “Hamlet”. (The jealous brother wants to kill the King, comes up with a scrupulous plan and manages to unleash the plan, and the son wants revenge…Yeah…Think about it…).
Pinocchio
This one you will not see coming!
Pinocchio runs away as soon as he can walk, Gepetto is arrested after police believe that he is abusing Pinocchio and Pinocchio kills a talking cricket! Gepetto is eventually released and insists that Pinocchio goes to school. Pinocchio sells his texts books to attend the Great Marionette Theatre, encounters a fox and cat who to try to hang him and steal from him. Pinocchio does eventaully end up shaping up and becoming a real boy though.
