Ladies, Ladies, Ladies

Stop misrepresenting us as “weak little things” It’s demeaning and not right.

If you’re a pregnant person, why are you risking yourself becoming arrested? Stop USING your baby as a way to get out of crime. It’s disgusting’s it’s beneath us. If you want to fight for something, or commit a crime. Know that you have the potential to be arrested! This isn’t THAT difficult.

A couple of years ago, we had two “mothers” get off with nearly killing two ambulance workers. Because, they’re “mothers”.

It was disgusting, and there was such a public outcry. One of them had to retire, and the other ambulance driver has PTSD.

It’s pathetic ladies, it truly is.

We also had an anti-vaxxer, arrested for organizing an dis-information parade. All of them outrage “She’s pregnant” SO WHAT! She knew perfectly well what might happen. Didn’t stop her. She doesn’t care about her baby, or others lives. I do, so so what. There were a LOT of children used here by their parents to not be “arrested” at the dis-information parades. It was pretty gross.

Don’t do the crime, if you don’t want to do the time. We’re in 2022 ladies, you want equal rights? That includes being charged with a crime, if you commit one. Pregnant or mother

I don’t see a lot of these people saying new Fathers should be let out of jail. Why is that?

I choose, when/if I become pregnant, I will not be participating in any protests. Even if I choose to be peaceful at a protest, there’s no guarantee that one, the police, in all their power, arrest me, because I would be an easy target. Two, it wouldn’t turn violent. You can’t guarantee that, that although YOU maybe peaceful, that it would stay that way.

Share Your World – 06/22/2020

Questions:

Have you ever ‘dined and dashed” (i.e. eaten the meal and then run out the restaurant door without paying)?

No, I had never done that. God knows, that I want to do that though!

Have you ever been in a car accident and either left the scene of the accident (providing it was a fender bender and not serious) or denied culpability for causing it when you did, (if it were minor or serious)?

As an adult, I haven’t been involved in a car accident, when I was a kid I was. It had been raining a lot this day and my mum just misjudged and we went spinning. We hit a tree, which we discovered later that the people had purposely planted that tree, because it seemed to happen a lot there. It was near a pond. I still remember what it felt like, the spinning.

(Oldie which has been asked many times before)   Have you ever found a wallet or purse or some money (over $20) in the street and just taken it, thinking ‘finders keepers, losers weepers?   Or would you be ‘good’ and hand it in?

At the moment, I would never do that. Actually I have never done that. I’m such a square, but you know I couldn’t live with myself. What if that $20 was all that person had left over even for a week or two?. So I would hand it in.

What was the last thing you stole or shoplifted?   If you never ever considered doing that, tell us your secret!   🙂

I’m such a square, I never have, lol. I have considered it a lot, especially when I see something that’s really lovely, or a fun toy. But I don’t know why I stop myself. It might be because the things I would want to steal are really expensive. The things that I would want to steal are more like really fun toys, like your big Lego sets and those “Fur Real” toys. So I don’t think there’s a “secret” it’s just that I couldn’t get away with it,lol.

Gratitude.

Today I’m again giving folks a free pass from sharing (you’re still welcome to share if you want to of course) and re-blogging a really thought provoking post by Pam of Butterfly Sand.  This was brought to my attention by Di of Pensivity101.   Thanks to both awesome ladies for sharing a post that I’m very grateful I got to read.

QUESTIONS:

Earlier this week Rory asked a question that I found so interesting, I thought I’d share it.  Another question, similar to this one was asked in August, but this one is unique.

If confronted with a violent crime against a single individual in progress (severe beating, rape, assault) do you try to do something about it (phone authorities or confront the criminal, stop the crime) or do you figure it’s none of your business and walk or drive on by?  Worse (to me) would you record the crime for social media use without doing anything else?

I just actually watched an episode of SVU. Where the whole story line is around a woman is raped, and everyone heard her screams in this unit block, but for one reason or another didn’t even call the police. Except for a woman who had been attacked earlier, but they had threatened this other woman.

I hate to say it, but other than calling the police. I think the most I’d do is shout out that I’ve called the police. It also depends on how many people are there. If it’s a group of people, I’d call the police and shout out. But if it was one on one, I’d call the police, see what they say I should do. If they think I should go out or not.

Okay now we got the heavy stuff out of the way, let’s get to some less stressful questions.

If someone asked to be your apprentice and learn all that you know, what would you teach them?

What a great question, and it has me stumped. I guess it’d have to be how to be a kind person. Making sure that you don’t forget to be kind to yourself in the mean time.

First think of a product. Now, what would be the absolute worst brand name for one of those products?

I don’t even have to make one up. I’m not sure how far this particular commercial/product has gone out globally. The product is called “V.I.P” It stands for Very Important…Poop…I’m not even kidding, and the commercials for it are unbearable.

What ridiculous and untrue, yet slightly plausible, theories can you come up with for the cause of common ailments like headaches or cavities?

Bad joo joo =D hehe

GRATITUDE:

If you’d like to, please share a photo or an example of gratitude that you have.  Thanks!  🙂

The Rules …

1] Thank the nominator

Thank you so much! Life Lessons around the dinner table! I had so much fun doing this, it got dark there…But oh so much fun!

2] Answer Q1 – Q19

3] Nominate three bloggers of your choice and notify them.

4] Each selected blogger MUST answer 16 of the asked 19 questions, but also insert 3 new questions to make up the 19 compliment. Every time a new blogger is selected they MUST only answer 16 of the asked 19 questions as well as answer their own 3, and choose 3 new bloggers. Each time a new blogger sees the questionnaire it will be completely different to the next blogger along.

[Hint: delete three of the questions you don’t like or have no answer for and insert your own in its place]

5] Q20 & Q14  Must always remain intact.

The Questions:

1] Have you ever seen a show where there was no “ending”to the case, does that frustrate you?

Oh yes! I watch the Crime channel and there is nothing worse than getting invested in a show or someones murder. Then the show doesn’t end with anything happening…That’s the worst!

2] Do you believe in the “Slender Man”

No. I hate what’s happened to those people whose “friends” pretended about the Slender man though.

3] Have you ever had your tarot read?

I have…But I also can do them! But I’ve lost my Tarot Cards and I’m still looking for them.

4] What unsolved murder unsettled you the most?

Without a doubt, it has to be the “The Staircase Murder/s” It’s an interesting case, mainly because it’s so confusing! They made a whole documentary on it, I’ve watched it from start to finish. It’s such a mystery, even though Michael Peterson was arrested for the crime. The whole thing is “off”. I don’t really know how to describe it, because I don’t know how he was convicted. Yet, there’s something there. I want to know what happened!

5] Would you sleep inside a coffin underground for a night?

Oh Hell No!

6] What is your best detective series?

Homicide Hunter…Don’t know if that’s a “series”, but it’s about the real crimes investigated by Lt Kenda. It’s a great series! He’s one of the most successful Detectives of all time.

7] Is there a horror movie you simply could NEVER watch because of the advertising hype?

No,I don’t actually enjoy horror films at all, in fact. Usually though I also really hate hype. I tried to watch one of the “Saws”, I hid behind my hands. Then I went to the cinema with a few people, including my boyfriend to see “Hostel 2”. I nearly walked out when they killed the kid, I just didn’t watch the rest of it.

8] What is the worst nightmare you have ever experienced? – Describe.

I don’t think it’s the worst nightmare that I have ever experienced, but it’s the only one I keep remembering for some reason. I had it only the once and it has never repeated, it’s weird what we remember. It was all black and white, like an old films and it was just a huge snail eating me, alive. It’s one of the weirdest nightmares I’ve ever had and I’m sure it means something.

9] Do you believe dreams/nightmares represent something else?

I believe that they do most of the time. Sometimes it might just be of something that you watched just as you were falling asleep. I do believe they do, even my above nightmare, at the time, did actually represent something I was going through. It was funny because I was stressed out at the time and thought that the situation was taking a long time to resolve.

10] Would you agree to take part in a seance?

I would love too! I know that they have a bad wrap, but I would absolutely love to take part in one one day.

11] Of all the ways a person could commit murder which do you think is the worst? Why?

There are so many horrible ways to die. I think anything that is slow and painful is horrible. Being buried alive, bleeding out slowly.

12] If you were a detective investigating a murder what would your first steps be at the scene of a brutal death?

After watching Homicide Hunter, I would also scan the room without touching anything. See if there are clues to where the body was found, does it look like a struggle took place, was the house broken into or was the murderer let in? Speak with the first responding officers and double check to see if they have changed or who they have spoken with.

13] Hanging, Injection, guillotine or firing squad what would you prefer?

Guillotine. It’s the quickest.

14] Which 3 questions will you be deleting to add your own in?

1, 2 & 9.

15] Is there justice in the death penalty, or is it pointless?

Oh, this is a tricky question to answer. Sometimes, I think that yes, it can be justified. In fact, I know that some people facing the death penalty have asked for it. They know within themselves that they wont be rehabilitated. Yet, at the same time, they have people who have received the death penalty and they were found later to be innocent.

16] Do you look guilty?

No. I always look sweet and innocent! 🙂

17] If the purge was real, would you hide yourself in a bunker, or would you participate?

Honestly, it’d depend on how I am at the time.

18] Do you think victims of rape or abuse should have the right to murder their attacker?

This is another tough question! I don’t honestly think it would make them feel any better and what about the chance people have to learn and redeem themselves? They should always have a say in their sentences though.

19] What is the best way to test for a psychopath?

I’m not sure…Although I am sure that I have met a few!lol

20] The three bloggers you are nominating are?

Please feel free to do this one! It’s really fun, so I don’t want people to miss out! DO IT NOW!!!

Evidence

I don’t think that I have too many Australian readers on here, but for those who are and for those who are not. One of Australia’s most famous “cold cases” in Australia is the “Beaumont Children“. Breaking it down a little, at Glenelg Beach (which is a gorgeous beach) Australia Day in 1966, three siblings went missing Jane Nartare Beaumont (born 10 September 1956), Arnna Kathleen Beaumont (born 11 November 1958), and Grant Ellis Beaumont (born 12 July 1961).

Their bodies have never been found. It was probably “that” case that changed a lot of things in Australia. Adults felt less safe too let their children go anywhere by themselves (the Beaumont children had gone to the beach on their own). Over the years there have been leads and the case is continually brought up over and over again.

So once again it has made it into the spotlight again, but it seems like it could be something that actually opens the case wide open, if it can be verified….Watch this space for more…

Rhyme: Hollywood Horror vs Real Life Horror

lizzy-borden

  1. Abby Borden was not Lizzie Borden’s mother, she was her step-mother.
  2. Abby was found to have been killed first, with 19 blows. Andrew Borden was killed second, with 10-11, but half his face was gone.
  3. Lizzie Borden’s jury consisted of 12 men.
  4. Although Lizzie was found “Not Guilty” she was ostracised by society.
  5. There have always been rumours that Andrew and Lizzie had a incestuous “relationship”.
  6. Modern techniques have found more, evidence to suggest that it was Lizzie Borden who committed the murders:
The Lizzie Border Murder Mystery: History Channel
  7. Fingerprint testing was in it’s infancy stages at the time of the murder, but police did not trust it and therefore never used this technique during their investigations.
  8. You can stay at the Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast. I don’t know why you’d want to, but you can, lol. Guests can tour the property at 92 Second Street, watch an annual dramatisation of the events, stay overnight in the bedrooms originally occupied by Lizzie, Emma and their parents, and even enjoy the same breakfast the family shared on the morning of August 4, 1892.

Leaving Time

Generally I don’t actually like writing reviews and such, mainly because I think with my dyslexia I can’t always think of the right words to write and use to make it sound like I know what I’m talking about. I love to read and I am always reading a book, sometimes it’ll take me a week, sometimes it can take me a month or so. I’m usually a fast reader, but I just have to find the time to read.

However, saying that, I just LOVE all of Jodi Picoult books, I have read all of them now am eagerly anticipating her next novel.

At the moment though I have just finished reading Leaving Time. Leaving Time is about the young daughter of Alice Metcalf searching for her missing mother, an accomplished researcher into how elephants grieve and mourn. With the help of both a psychic and a retired police officer, this books takes the most interesting twists and turns. It also looks into how Elephants feel and they grieve and mourn.

It’s what I love most about Jodi Picoult books, there is always a twist that you just do not seem coming, and this one had one of the biggest twists of all! I literally looked up and went “Huh” read on and was happy to discover that I did not see it coming.
