It’s video time!

I also apoligise, my post from this morning wasn’t actually finished yet. I pretty much got home from work and just slept, lol

Well, nearly, lol…

I was on Twitter earlier and there is so much activity on there! Not positive, but Twitter is not a good place to write down every single thought you have.

So I have decided to make a video about my thoughts on a few things. But the reason for this post, is that I was thinking of another video, based on blogging and all of you. What would you like to know about me? Would you like to know my thoughts on something specific?

How are you creative? WordPress Prompt

As I wrote yesterday, I will be writing more today about what I want for 2023. Uusally, I think that it’s our birthdays where we should be make new year resolutions. The last couple of birthdays though, have just really sucked for me. So now I will just be taking the “general route” of new years resolutions, on new years.

The prompt was “How are you creative?” That’s inspired me to write this post. I feel like, over the past year, I have lost my creative juices. I want to do achieve something next year, that will give me that “boost”. A wedding will certain test that. But I want to do more than just a “wedding”. Its a one day thing, and I want to set up a home.

Do you know what I mean?

I want upgrade the backyard and make it more bird friendly.

I want too redo my “website” and actually do something with it.

I want to write more, but take the time to do it well.

My god, after the dentist, Sydney, Christmas…I need to save money. I have nothing left in my savings.

On the random, I want to learn to draw. My mind if full of images.

Cook better and more healthier meals.

After more than likely failing at my Goodreads challenge this year. I am plan on focus on reading more. And making my Twitter account more BookTwitter

Not many of the things I want to do, have to do with a Wedding, lol. I want a small wedding, but I also want the party and the pretty dresses. I want to make my home, a home. At the moment I am thinking of making a lot of the wedding stuff myself. Make a little wedding box, with all the things I made. There are so many great ideas out there!

I would like to know, apart from turning off social media, apart from the turning off the news. How do you cope when the world is pretty much, well crap.

I, probably obviously, like to read. I will just sit and read.

Now I enjoy gardening. I’ve gotten a couple of disgruntled text messages, because I went to check on the garden, ended gardening for a couple of hours, lol. Do gardening without taking your phone outside.

I play my games, so my Sims, Planet Zoo and sometimes Age of Empires.

I have so many colouring in books, lol

I guess I like to create.

Creating things makes me feel useful, if only in my own little world. I think that’s the important bit. You have to make sure you feel useful, even if it’s only for yourself, or too protect yourself.

I’m also sort of stuck right now, I want to create a home for my partner and myself, but he’s s fussy! Like he’ll say he’s okay with me making the home more of a home, but then you know, he’s clearly not. Because it is his home. He bought it, I help out with shopping and bills, but it’s legally all his. Sometimes I have to sneak things in. Or plan a good time for a “reveal”. It puts a hamper on things, lol. He buys this beautiful house, that I don’t actually like. But then he wont let me do things, so I can make it more “homey” and a house I like, lol

I used to have baths, but the bath plug broke, lol

And of course, music. Mostly Enya when I literally need to “sail away” in my own mind, lol

Fair warning, this is only poem that I came up on the whim. It’s not serious.

Tomorrow was the day that I was born,

Now I am torn,

whether to write the word porn,

as it rhymes with born,

I should have probably forewarned.

Tomorrow will be a chance to be redrawn,

will it be with rose, or thorns?

or will my life become as fun as a fauns?

Family Guy

This actually has nothing to really do with the series. There is an episode though where Peter gets his own theme music. Although I am hit and miss with some Family Guy episodes, I LOVE the idea of having my own theme songs.

(I apoligise as well, I didn’t have my laptop charger for about 24 hrs. Trying to catch up now).

Let’s use our imaginations, what would your different theme’s be? After all, we have different emotions and experiences. Is there a song that you play every single time that relates to a mood? Little note, my partner has hummed through every single song, lol.

Creative Tuesday

Let’s get creative! …

What I would love to do with this blog post, is talk about some of the creative creativeness I’ve been doing lately, and I would love for you to share anything that you maybe up too as well!

I don’t really know how many of you read my blog posts on a continuous level. However, every now and then I write about what my plans are for the future, just recently (I believe) I started to write about how I like to write things down and put them out in the public, so I end up doing them.

What this was mainly referring to was myself starting to learn to draw, which I am. I even bought myself a little sketch book.

Clearly one of my newest things is too stream, which you can watch my previous videos at my channel: Lady Lolsy – Twitch tv … Feel free to judge and critique, luckily I am really new so no huge views yet. I got my partner to watch and for some reason you can’t see my face when I play my games. Which at the moment is Sims 4.

I am also in the middle of making my cat a little house for outside, maybe for something inside too. My partner bought a new huge fancy tv, and the box is huge. While I have not much to do, I can do even more creative things.

I’m also doing my pen pals still. I’ll be trying to write them up and post them over the weekend.

I’ve also decided that not only will my first post on a Monday and Fridays will always be a positive and fun post. I am also, on Mondays going to give myself a fun challenge for that week.

So, for this week my challenge for myself is to either just head out and grab some herbs and start to grow them. Or to grab some herbs and/ or grab some type of flowers. Start to grow some vegetables or fruit.

My partner moved, nearly two weeks ago. I have never gardened before, and my partners new back yard has so much garden space to do so much with! So why not start now?!

I was not nominated for this award, but I thought that An Upturned Souls questions and answers were so beautiful, that I was completely inspired to answer the questions.

An Upturned Soul 5 Questions

#1 – What is the best compliment you could get or have received for one of your creations?

I haven’t honestly created anything yet, everything I am creating is in the middle of it’s creation. I feel like this is the year where all my creations are going to finally come together. I think one of the best compliments you can give someone is just to tell them how their creations moved you, honestly. Did their creation inspire you? Did it move you, what feelings did it make you feel. I don’t mean “It sucked” That is neither constructive or helpful.

#2 – Which creative person has had the most influence on you and your creativity?

I have to say it is my Grandmother (the one I wrote about in my previous post) You know how sometimes you are lucky enough to connect with a person, especially from your own family? Well my Gran is “my person” and she’s probably the biggest cheerleader for all her children and grandchildren. That’s why it’s been upsetting me, I feel like we had to take care of her, instead of her watching over our dog.

#3 – Which work of art, literature, invention, song, film, etc, which has already been created do you wish you could have created?

I think if you read my posts a lot, you will know of my complete love for the world of J.R.R Tolkien. That’s my jive!

#4 – Do you have a creative muse, someone who or something which never fails to get your creativity flowing? Do you want to share your muse or keep them a secret?

My Muse is a “something”. It’s a music something. For some reason whenever I listen to Celtic music, but more specifically Celtic Women…Whenever I hear the music, I want too either jig, if I’m walking, or write, if I’m at home…I even have a video clip for each one of their songs that I really enjoy.

#5 – You find a book and begin to read only to discover that it is your life. You get to the point that you are at now, do you turn the page knowing that you will not be able to change the events to come? (weird-funny question from Mantelligence: 83 Hypothetical Questions)

No! Oh my goodness…As tempted as I would definitely would be, I would never be able too. I don’t want to know. It’s just too much pressure, whether it’s something good or bad. Even if it’s something good, the pressure to wait for it too happen, would be just as unbearable.

Help!

I need some “Creating” help!

I need to find a good, but yet cheap photo-shop type program. I want to create some bookmarks (and some other ideas) and the programs that I have, are not very flexible. I need a program where I can create more patterns, just do more.

Good Week Wrap-up

Although I feel like I’ve been quiet this week on the Blogging front. The quality of the Blogging has been good. Not only that though, on Monday was I not looking forward to this week. Although physically I am so tired because of different reasons of lack of sleep…Everything that I feared is…

I got swapped when I wanted too and I didn’t even have to deal with the person who’ve been giving me trouble. I got to speak with the regional manager and binga banger boom…Got swapped =D I found some things that shall be simple and still lovely for my Lolsy’s Library Shop…Exciting!!! I also have an interview for a course that I’m interested in doing. I got more work for next week…

I cannot wait for next week! I am so busy every day next week. Not including all the fun stuff I will be doing after the busy stuff.
