I’m going to do it!
So this is how this works right, I let you know what I’m want to do…This way I cannot back out!
For YEARS now I have wanted to learn how to start drawing. In my head I am such a visual person and I LOVE to start getting some of my ides onto paper. Instead of getting someone else to draw them for me. As beaitiful as the drawings are, it would save me so much more money if I did it myself,lol
The other thing that did occur to myself over the weekend was this. I LOVE the little creations that Little Fat Dragons, Plush Like Creatures etc
They make the cutest little creatures, but they are all overseas and a lot of the time not only are the expensive (but totally worth it)…but sometimes I miss the sales because of the time differences. I think they are mostly in the America areas…Why don’t I just start making my own?!
Yes funny dog meme…I am going to do it! I want and feel like I need to do this! You ever get your feeling, you’re supposed to be doing something? Well I am getting that feeling right now!
I feel good writing this and getting this out there…So i must be right?!
Something you’ve created
37. Something you’ve created
I’ve been trying to think of something that I’ve created and it’s been really hard to think of something. Whether it’s been physically made something or emotionally/mentally. I didn’t really want to ask anyone either what they thought.
I guess the closest I can say about something that I have created is positivity. I remember a couple of people in my life have said to me that I can see the positive on a lot of topics. Even when a situation in completely negative, I can see the good in the situation.
People are always saying to me that when I’m mad or upset, people should listen because there is clearly something wrong. The ironic thing about that is the first person who ever said that too me was also someone who ended up being one of the worst bullies that I have ever encountered. However, it has been said time and time again. There was also another incident, a natural disaster and people were criticising those who kept saying “Pray for … so and so”. I just pointed that sometimes that’s all people can do. They can’t afford to spend even a dollar for others. A lot of people live pay check to check, so it’s all you can do. As long as you’re trying, sometimes that’s literally all people can do.
One of my friends actually said to me that it made her really think because she’s never thought of it that way before. She’s criticising people who may genuinely not be able to do anything but Pray. How bad would she feel if someone felt so bad that they weren’t able to do anything that gave money or items that they can’t actually afford and then put themselves in a vulnerable position?
Getting started
This is for all my drawing/artist/creative type readers/Home Business followers…At the moment I have two casual jobs and while I enjoy both of them I am just not making enough money. I’m making enough to “survive” and luckily my partner and my mum charge me rent/bills on a percentage of what I make, rather than a set amount.
As I mentioned before I really do enjoy where I’m working at both places, I am really lucky that all my co-workers are lovely people and even with that one expected customer that’s always causing trouble. The work is good too, not to difficult that I just can’t do it, but keeps me busy and my mind off other things. Some weeks though I just don’t get the shifts, which when you’re a casual means, you get paid…well…nothing.
So this is where all my drawing/artist/creative type readers/Home Business followers come into play. I want to do something from home where I can make money as well. I love doing little crafty things and I would love to make a little business of bits and bobs. However, I have no idea where to start. So I was hoping that someone could give me ideas of any web pages or any sites that are good for people who want to get started, what sites are good to sell on, any legal information I may need. I was thinking of making things like:
- Themed candles as well as just random scented
- Handmade cards for all occasions
- Flowery headbands
I am writing a couple of stories and am even writing what I call “script ideas” for a tv show for a role playing game that I used to play and I would love to be able to draw. I am a very visual person, but I am honestly also too lazy to learn how to draw properly. I can start and try, but I’d probably never get to the point where I could sell the art. The writing is mainly for myself and I’m not sure that I have to confidence to try and sell the ideas to someone either…It makes me feel kind of sad too at the same time as well. Who doesn’t want to be the next J.K. Rowling?
Up, Down and all around
So all your usual there were ups and down … But I just wanted to say this that this has to be one of my favourite years of all time! It’s been an amazing year! I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve had this year where I actually cried with happy tears … HAPPY TEARS =D I actually put on weight from being happy and for the first time in a long time, I felt like a Lady … I have gain so much of my confidence back and instead of thinking “Screw this year” I’m kind of sad it’s over, but excited for the new year … I already have so many ideas in place =D
This Blog and you, my readers, are a huge part of all of that. I’ve been able to write things here and start creative steps and been inspired here to be a much better Blogger. One of my goals for next year is to make my Blogging something more meaningful. Even with the Vlog, which I actually had a lot of fun with I want to make those better (I’ve downloaded some programs, let’s see if I can make those work). So many ideas and 365 days to do something all on those days!

Living Doll
You may notice that I have a theme today, but it’s that time of year and I get all silly and nostalgic, but these dolls are just stunning! The hours it must take to create these … I think that 2016 is going to be the year that I get back into my creative side again … I definitely have gotten my confidence back, it’s time to do something with that. If you have a “thing” against Barbie, what about these ones?

Cool news is always welcomed here!
So I had two pieces of really most excellent news…Oh yeah, I went there…I said “excellent”…Well one is “news” that I received and the other is something I cannot believe that I’ve forgotten to mention!
The first piece of good news is, there is a society in Australia called “Guide Dogs Australia” which to be honest I thought they only helped raised dogs for the blind. I sponsor one of their dogs from the Guide Dogs and you get updates, quarterly during the year. I received my most recent update and my dog is going to be a Autism Assistance dog (which I am extremely proud of). I have a lot of people in my life whose children suffer from Autism, so this was something that I was excited to share with them.
The other piece of news (that I cannot believe I forgot to share) is that my cousin is on Australia’s “Great Australian Bake Off”. I am so proud of him! It’s quiet funny really, the ladies in my family we’re not huge cookers, but all the guys are so creative and good at cooking. It is really funny watching a family member on television and not being able to breathe when something goes wrong for them. They’ve only had two shows so far, but he is still on there! =D
I made a thing =D
We have just started Spring here in the land down under and this week in particular has been a scorcher! Also this year I have been getting more into cooking and such. I mean I’ve always been able to cook to survive type thing, but I am not a big lover of the kitchen!
However this year when I have gotten something stuck in my head to make, it usually has been staying in there until I either focus on something else (which guaranteed for me is pretty easy), or I make it. Since it’s been SO hot this weekend, I have literally been draining, I decided to make something I can never seem to find in my local supermarkets…Pink Lemonade
This was probably the best recipe that I found and it was really simple to make as well….Old Fashioned Pink Lemonade…The only thing is I used mostly lemon juice from a bottle (bad me, I know)…Otherwise be prepared to use and squeeze a LOT of lemons…I am not exaggerating, I mean a lot! It was really sweet and quite refreshing though, I highly recommend it
Watch this space for more cool recipes…I really want to make a “Jelly Cake” next =D I think that would fun for Spring!
Vlog Update
About a week ago I wrote a Blog about doing a Vlog, I just thought that I would give you all a progress report on it. I have filmed it. I am trying to do this all on my lonesome, I’ve re-watched it. So I just have to edit it now and all that fun stuff, I’ve just never done it before. I love learning new things and this will be something new. As I’ve mentioned before I’ve never done this before and so it might take me a couple of days to edit it.
Just another manic Monday
So hopefully readers find this post entertaining, it’s been a bit tough to get on here and write posts since I ruined my computer. It’s been and down process all weekend. One moment I’ve got it working and then it’s emitting a high pitched squeal.
Technology though can be used in such a positive way as well! The images and the art that can be used to create, take for example:

Absolutely beautiful! She took some images of her daughter and the shadows that she created with her phone are moving. Honestly, I still have these images in my mind.
What about Hubble? The space telescope, the images that this amazing piece of technology has brought from the stars beyond our world. Breath-taking and looking at them I can barely believe that they are even real…They are!
