We are a grumpy lot, lol

I am the first to admit that I tend to get grumpier these days, but it’s all over totally legit reasons, lol

I don’t know (obviously) if your computers have the same thing that my personal and work computer do. On the taskbar below, we have a weather things and when you hoover over it, it shows a lot of different news stories.

Well, the public can react to these new stories, and while I understand that a lot of media is either Murdoch controlled, or a lot is just bad/lazy journalism. Gee, a lot of good stories makes people angry. Maybe that’s part of the problem, people who have all this time on their hands, can’t see a good news story for being happy.

Some stories I’ve seen angry faces too:

A penguin protector retiring – The main complaint, anti-climate people.

Starlink Satellites – People complaining about the Scientist’s and astrologers, rightly, issuing warning’s about these Starlink Satellites. These satellites may help with out internet connections, but they’re run by people like Elon Musk. So they’re not necessarily climate safe, and they hide actual stars.

I think what gets me, is that when I see the actual reasons that these “people” are angry. It isn’t ever because, you know, the satellites are hiding actual stars. They’re angry at the Scientist and the Astrologists for correctly pointing out the issues.

And I am not even kidding, there were a lot of angry faces at Bridal trends since the 40’s.

Okay, one more time. People are NOT getting this. Johnny Depp has been found guilty TWICE, in a court of Law, of wife beating. He IS an abuser.

Again, this does not mean, Amber Heard is NOT an abuser. This is isn’t, one cancels the other out. They’re BOTH abusers and they BOTH have been abused.

If you can NOT understand that concept, do NOT talk about it.

This is NOT a case, that will say whether or not Depp is not an abuser. He has already been found GUILTY of being an abuser, TWICE. We all KNOW that Heard abused as well. If you can’t understand the basics of mutual abuse. This is NOT a television show, where you get to determine anything. Everything has already been determined.

Also, Johnny Depp is not going to sleep with you.

This is the last time I am writing about this.

This is not a television episode of Law and Order, this is real life folks. For the love of God, please think about this from a point of view that doesn’t involve you having sex with Johnny Depp. Think about how Vanessa Paradis, the mother of his children was thinking when his text came out as calling her an “extortionist French cunt”, or heck, think about his kids!. He must have known that was coming out. Think about how you would feel if someone you loved, had texted about setting you alight, and burning you alive. Jesus, think about that poor dog, as he shoved it’s head out the window!

This isn’t “hearsay” this is WHY he WAS found guilty, twice, of being a wife beater.

I actually do fear for JD’s life. I think he’s going to go the way of Michael Jackson, Prince, Brittany Murphy. Dying, way before they should have, dying because no one would tell them no.

As it was said in court. Depp was the one turning (or not in some cases) up to work drunk, high, not prepared and not professional, choosing to sue people over fulfilling his contracts. That has nothing to do with Heard, she’s not his keeper. Quiet frankly, she was right in what she said. That she stood up for abuse survivors and she was abused again, by the culture. She was absolutely right. Quiet frankly, there’s a lot of people proving her right.

It’s one of the reasons I don’t want to talk/write about this anymore. No matter the outcome, he’s already established as a wife beater. Depp and Heard are pretty toxic, but I do think that Heard, while not coming out of this smelling of roses. She does appear to be only one who is trying to live a life. Reminder, as well, Depp is the one continuing this. He is STILL trying to control the narrative, and lot of people are letting him.

Very, very tired

*bounces back and forth on feet* Listen up people! It is perfectly acceptable that two people are abusers and abused at the same time. Since D has now been found guilty of abusing A TWICE now, D IS an abuser. But A is also. That’s why their therapist calls it “mutual abuse”. Quiet frankly I don’t like either of them. #teamnoone

America is no longer the land of the Free, the Land that Fears might suit better. Which is pretty ironic when you think that America is one of the biggest “God will protect us”. You are not free when you put killing tools above the lives of human beings. Then turn around, less than 24 hours later, and try to make a group of people non-existent, AND at the same time have a go at legit angry people “burning down towns”. …

Keep going? Cool…

Liking animals does not automatically make you a good person, you still need to be a good person in spite of that. You might be less of a psychopath, but it still doesn’t make you a good person. You SHOULD like animals, doesn’t have to be cats and dogs, but what kind of weirdo doesn’t like an animal of some sort.

Oh, and if white, straight, middle aged, rich, people with huge platforms could shut up, for like two seconds. That’d be SO fantastic, for EVERYONE.

In conclusion, just let other people LIVE! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!

Oh, by the way, the Nazi Swatski, is NOT the same as the older cultures that used the symbol of the Sickle.

Looking forward too…

Ever the optimist that I am, there has to be SOMETHING…we’re all looking forward too next year…Right?

I mean…something…

…Right…

Oh dear, haha.

I think even if it’s something within ourselves, there is something positive too look forward too.

There are some things we cannot control, but there are things that we can!

  • I am hoping to become an affiliated next year on Twitch. I am nearly there!
  • Voting out Scott Morrison (I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t go).
  • Getting healthier. Not losing weight persay, but just getting into healthier habits.
  • Become a more proactive person in society.
  • Host a party!
  • Getting away to a hotel looking over the beach, for a night.
  • Learning to relax, now that I am pretty set with my work and streaming schedule.
  • Learn to bake…well, lol

What I would really like to understand…

What I would really love to know is, and I don’t know if any of you have noticed it as well.

All the transphobic, anti-maskers, anti-vaxers etc. They’re always complaining about the Government trying to control them. Yet, I keep seeing the same Government, be on their side. Johnson, Trump, Morrison are on the side of the, as we call them in Australia, COVIDIOTS. All three were putting money before and above, people.

So which Government is trying to “control” them exactly? They like Morrison, Johnson and Trump, so are they saying they don’t like them controlling them, but they’ll worship them at the same time? It’s just odd. Being the political leader of a country is as political and in Government as you can get.

Then it’s gets weirder for me. As these same politicians are now all vaccinated against COVID, and yet, they encourage people to fight against “Government Control”. I don’t other countries, here in Australia. Pretty much all the politicians got double vaxxed first. However, some of the politicians are all for the Public fighting to not get vaccinated?

Isn’t that weird to people? We actually had one rare politcian, whose not only a state leader, but he said and I quote “I don’t have to get vaccinated, because I don’t deal with the public that much”.

Why are you a STATE leader then, if you don’t deal with the public? It’s not just the public as well, who potentially may get and spread it. It’s your employees as well. If you’re a public official, you are not suddenly immune to COVID. That’s not how it works.

Questions:

Must we have evidence to know the truth?

Ahhh…In a court room, you usually do need evidence. Generally though, a lot of the time, we don’t always need evidence. In fact, some people just ignore it all together *cough Trump was not exonerated* *cough there are more than two genders*. Personally, sometimes I don’t need evidence to know the truth, but it is helpful.

How much control does a person have over their life?

I think about 65% control, lol. We have control over certain things, but we don’t have control over everything. We don’t have control how others choose to treat us, we don’t have control over people to give us that job we really want. We do have control over, if we don’t get the job we wanted, what’s our next step then? We can control how we react to others. Then there are things like cancer, having anxiety feels like you don’t have control sometimes. But we can control, as an example, getting yearly checkups, watching how we treat our bodies. I have reasonably high cholesterol, as does most of my family. So I’m on tablets right now, but I can control my diet and exercise to help bring it down too.

What is gravity and how does it work?

Well gravity, in space, makes you float. Gravity on earth means that we don’t float. It has something to do with how fast earth goes around the sun. I want to ask my partner, he’s a physics teacher. But I’m going to answer it on my own…Can you tell?lol. It has something to do with the sun pulling on earth. Or any planet really.

Can a person be happy if they have never experienced sadness?  How about vice versa?

Of course! I don’t know, but sure, lol. It’s hard to think of anyone who hasn’t experienced both of those, who I can think of.

Gratitude:

Please feel free to share a song, a poem, a quote or an image or photo to show what you were grateful for during this past week.    (Optional as always).

The control question actually inspired me to apply for potential jobs. I’ve always thought that I would do really well at a doggy day care centre, or something similar. So I cold-canvassed a couple of places today. The worst they can say is no, right? At least they have my information and can tell my enthusiasm, if they want.

Do you use paper money? If so is your money organized sequentially according to denomination?

Oh my goodness, I do both of these! I still prefer using paper money, I will use “pay wave” and the like, but I feel REALLY uncomfortable doing it. Where is my information going, is it being stored?….I know…paranoia! I do also organise my money, I have to “notes” section in my wallet. One side will have $5 and $10, the other $20 and $50.

You are comfortable doing nothing? For long stretches of time?

Some might say too much so! Although I guess a lot of time reading. When it gets cooler in Summer and when Spring starts, sometimes I just like to sit outside and enjoy the water. Usually my cat or dog hangs around me and I play with them, but I’m usually just sitting.

What is your greatest strength?

I’d have to say it’s my Heart. I don’t want to sound completely up myself. It’s a little ironic really as well. My great grandparents on my Mum’s side, just dropped, their hearts gave out. My Dad has had a triple bypass. While I say my hearts my greatest strength. I don’t necessarily mean physically. I’m one of those seemingly rare people, who just because I had a bad day or a bad sleep, doesn’t mean I become a raving lunatic. I can still be there for others, no matter what I’m going through. What I have to learn is to make sure people don’t take advantage of that.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

I made myself smile this week. For the longest time since I’ve had these anxiety issues, I’ve really struggled getting on buses…Which since I don’t drive, it’s become very costly. I decided by myself, that I am going to reduce the number of taxis and Uber I take. The best present, I decided, to give myself, is to save some money and take another step forward in controlling my anxiety. SO I did it and I’ve already saved myself in this one week over a hundred dollars =D

Let’s get to it!

I was going to originally title this post “There is no a cure for anxiety!”

Then I thought though, that sounds like a really harsh topic heading to get this post started on and I do not want to upset people.

I was talking on Facebook…discussing, if you will, about how you can “cure” anxiety with good food, lots of exercising…and I do hate it to say it…There is no cure for anxiety…If there was no one would suffer from it anymore. If there was, trust me, it would be the most popular item on the market and would probably sell out ALL the time.

Saying that though, there are ways to help and make life easier…Too “control” it to a certain extent.

Everybody is different and can learn to control it in different ways for yourself. Myself personally:

  • I do not drink coffee anymore, unless I am 100% certain that I am not headed anywhere. Of course though life is uncertain, especially lately!
  • If I’m having trouble sleeping I use my Atmosphere anxiety app.
  • Meditation is so helpful! Make a “space” for yourself. Even if you have to go out to do it. At least once a week, get a space for yourself.
  • I am aware there are days where I feel vulnerable, so I wont go on places like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.
  • Then there are other days where I feel like I could fight back.
  • Computer games, for myself, are a GREAT distraction! I have a couple of games that I can lost in for hours and forget for a while. Then because I’m not constantly thinking about whatever is causing myself anxiety. It calms me down. Especially when I have trouble jumping in Guild Wars 2,lol

Some areas of my life have gotten a LOT better.

World Mental Health Day

As the title suggests, today is World Mental Health day today…So if you are not feeling well, please do not read any further. Sometimes I find that if you constantly talk about something, or its just there all the time. You can’t help but be affected by it.

Normally I make long posts at later time/date and I had originally had this posted for tomorrow as most of my readers are from overseas. However, I feel like this is such an important topic, I’d rather have this posted on the right date for both hemisphere’s.

So although today is a good day to get some information out there. One could understand why this day might actually be a really hard day for those with mental health issues.

10/10 World Mental Health Day (Australia)

So mental health affects people in different ways and people suffer from it in different extremes and have different ways of coping. We are only know starting to understand it, but still have a far way to go in treating it and having other people who don’t understand it. One side of my family have huge issues with it, even when they don’t admit it.

Mental Health over the years has always been seen as people only having things like schizophrenia, major paranoia, serve depression, and so on. Only in the last few years things like PTSD, people suffering from grief and loss, social anxieties, are now being seen as mental health issues. Situations where you or someone else may look fine on the outside, but inside you just feel extremely tired and like you want to give up.

Let me share my experiences with you

I, myself have always had a slight depression. There were days where I just couldn’t stop feeling miserable and I wouldn’t eat and I just could not explain it. The last year or so and through certain incidents that ended up being not in my control, has now turned into anxieties. It’s been an interesting year because things that never affected me before, suddenly are. For example, when we have blackouts, in my mind I completely freak out now. The first half an hour or so, on the inside I am a wreck. I honestly feel like I will have a panic attack. It’s not until we get candles going or we start watching dvds on the laptops and sometimes that doesn’t happen until we’re really sleepy, so we don’t lose much batteries. I am just not okay. Sometimes I’ll have to look outside, where it’s still dark because you can still shadows outside, especially if the moon is well lit. So now I have a radio that can be turned on and off with batteries, as well as lights and fans. I’m looking to getting a portable dvd player, so I can trick my mind that all the lights off gives it an atmosphere.

I also now have a travel anxiety. Where I start to worry that I’m going to desperately need the bathroom while in a car or bus. This is my biggest issue at the moment, it’s been getting a little better, and I’ve had it for about a year now. I’ve been trying to avoid taking drugs and have been taking natural medicine, as well as meditation. I think I may need to take some anxiety pills when I travel on a plane next though. It’s usually alright if I can wind a window down and get some fresh air, but you can’t do that on a plane. Since my brother and my partners brother lives interstate, I can’t avoid it forever.

The other thing I have noticed though if that I far more more susceptible to my depression and that’s been the worst part. I’ve had more triggers this year alone and they’ve gotten, I don’t want to say darker, but I’ve had to fight a lot more this year to get myself happier again. I’ve also found myself on the borderline of a lot more panic attacks, which I’ve never really had before.

Now let me share things that have helped me.

  • Giving myself a break: Every now and then I will just take a day…two if I’m lucky…where I don’t have to travel or work or see anyone. It makes me feel normal again.
  • Natural medication: So far the natural medications I’ve been taking have been helping a lot. Even if they just settle my upset stomach. They are probably nowhere near as strong as actual anxiety medication, but they do work to help me calm, at least a little.
  • Funny videos: They just do, anything funny, or what I consider to be funny.
  • Do not drink coffee when you are in the middle of anxiety: I do not drink coffee nearly as much as I used too.
  • Playing games: I think concentrating on something else for an hour…or more…helps me have a different focus. When I first had my anxiety really badly, the only things that made me panic less was playing games. I’d realise after a few hours that I was fine. I had gotten through a couple of hours with no issues.

Please don’t feel like you have too, but myself and I am sure others would really appreciate any of you sharing any helpful information. Where you go, what you use, what you’ve found to be helpful. Any stories that you wish to share.

History Repeating

I found an extremely interesting article: Goebbels’ former Nazi secretary has no regrets about her role in WWII

To break the article down, Brunhilde Pomsel was the former secretary of Joseph Goebbles, Reich Minister of Propaganda. In the article Brunhilde expresses how she had no regrets about her secretarial role, she was, in fact flatter.

(This is why you should all read the article)

The next part explained from Brunhilde herself (105 years old by the way). That it was part of the Propaganda’s “charm”…

“I know no one ever believes us nowadays – everyone thinks we knew everything. We knew nothing, it was all kept well secret.”

“Those people nowadays who say they would have stood up against the Nazis – I believe they are sincere in meaning that, but believe me, most of them wouldn’t have,” Pomsel said.

“The whole country was as if under a kind of a spell. I could open myself up to the accusations that I wasn’t interested in politics but the truth is, the idealism of youth might easily have led to you having your neck broken.”

I have to say…I believe her. I think about the media today, the people who are in control today and those people who are willingly to just believe anything a particular candidate says…Without saying anything. I read through the comments of a woman who railed racist abuse at an Spanish family. If you read the headline, you’d think this woman was randomly insane…HOWEVER (and I do not condone racism in any form.) She was yelling at this family because they had left their dog in the car on a 90+ degree day.

Ignoring what this woman said, which she apologised later for, and why she got upset. Throughout all the comments there were different news articles “proving” what the commenter or poster believed to be correct. How can you believe what really happened, when there are SO many different article saying different things? Fact vs Opinion – Lolsys Library

Does this article strike a chord with you? Can you think of any situation where this may be true these days?
