Thursday Theories – Reality IS important

I just want to start this post off by saying, that I am so glad that some people “expose” themselves. And I unfollowed them.

I also want to ask, if it’s completely sad that I am sad about Internet Explorer?

What this post is more importantly about, is how important it is too talk about some of the realities in this world.

January 6th.

I’ve seen some people say that what’s the point of these current hearings. He was acquitted, why bother? Are they actually kidding?

This hearing is exposing the people who acquitted Trump, in the first place. Too sit there and actually say that these hearings have no purpose now, is ridiculous. We are talking/writing about the biggest corruption within the Republican Party, the Party who nearly brought America to it’s knees, since Nixon. Of course it’s important, how could it not be? You would have to either be complicit, have no understanding what Jan 6th did to America, or a complete idiot, to think these current hearings have no benefits.

I’m not even sorry for saying this. Trump is now throwing his own daughter under the bus.

It is really refreshing to see Republican’s and Trump Supporters being called out for WHAT they are. I don’t know about you all, but I am finding such clarity in the hearings.

Heroes

In our lives we all have different heroes from all sorts of areas in our life. Jackie Chan is a personal hero of mine, but I do have to say that I am unfamiliar with his earlier work. Just meaning that I know he has been around for years, but I have only ever seen his more “Western” type movie. So, more like your “Rush Hour”, his more comedic action type movies (I was disappointed that the wasn’t part of the Expendables movie in anyways whatsoever).

After watching this video below, I want to go out and find his earlier work. It is just really beautiful.

Jackie Chan being reunited with former stuntmen will make you feel again

Do you have a “Hero”? Have you ever been surprised by something you found out about them?

Friends that are like Family…REALLY?!

I recently read an article on KennethJustice.com which really made me think about some things…I only wanna listen to what I want……REALLY???

I have been dealing with this problem over the last couple of months. As a few things have hit me about certain friendships. People who will tag you in those “Friends are like Family” type posts and your first thought “You are so full of it”…The type where you can literally write “I am not okay”, they ignore that (while tagging you in those “posts…Friends that are like Family) then you write how people suck and THAT one they seem to pay attention to and get all offended by?

Like Kenneth I have noticed a trend of people just not listening any-more other than when they want to prove someone wrong. Some people I only ever hear from when they want to tell me that I am doing something wrong…I admit, I tend to ignore these people. This is generally because you can’t just talk to someone and make bold comments on someone’s words, their thoughts and ideas if you are only ever talking to them when it suits you. Positive or Negative. In order to get a full novel of someone’s life, you have to have conservations with that person…Pleasant and Unpleasant.

Turn Off’s

I had an interesting conservation today with a girlfriend about when I was single, what my biggest turns off were? It was brought up because it made me think what they used to be. It reminded me of a situation that really turned me off one guy in particular, he used to say all the time “Oh, we are totally going to end up sleeping together” Which didn’t actually “turn me off” but I get annoyed by those kind of statements. There was a situation where this married guy who I thought was a good friends to me, basically started “dumping me” so-to-speak for the new young girl in the group. Which I was hurt by and put off for various reasons.

Any-ways, this guy knew what was going on because basically the girl is his sister. What this guy did though and said to me, to try and get in my pants, I will never forget, because it was simply of all comments that were made to me, this was the biggest douchebag turn off ever! He said and I quote “I love *whatshisface* like a brother, but he only likes girls who can’t think for themselves” … Now this turned me off for several reason, lol:

  1. You managed to insult your sister, “brother from another mother” and his wife in one sentence, JUST to try and get in my pants … What do you say about me behind my back?
  2. What kind of person do you think I am just because you insulted people I have little respect for?
  3. Maybe the reason your friend is so disrespectful because his “friends” do nothing about his behaviour and do things like talk disgustingly about each other behind their backs?

After dealing with that guy I was turned off the entire group.

What are your biggest turn offs?
