Why transphobia?

It’s simple, just like all bigotries and all hate. It’s just allowed and people don’t care enough. It’s not really complicated, lol

As examples, the BBC has become extremely anti-trans, as well we as the Tory Government, the Charity Commission and OFM. Just recently the Times in the UK had to do two retractions where they accused trans women of raping more people than cis males. As well as a report about how “women can’t be charged with rape in the UK”, when they can. Twitter does literally nothing, as well as Facebook. And I’ve seen people on here with large, loud and powerful platforms simply look over it.

The US Republicans have literally used Rowlings own words to create anti-trans Laws. But you know, Rowling is having no impact. In fact, the current UK Tory Government keeps increasing the “discussion” time to ban conversion therapy. MOST people want it banned outright, but they’re waiting for an excuse to make sure they can have a loop hole with trans people.

The majority of women support trans women, but you wouldn’t know that when you listen to media, and watch people with the power to stop, not stopping it.

And if I see you NOT being an Ally. I’m coming for you, and your little dog too, and I am going to keep your dog, haha

Now I am not big into the big conspiracy theories. There have been rumours that a lot of the leads of transphobe’s are racists too. All this current transphobia, happened around the time that BLM and of George Floyds death, and then I remembered yeah. There were a lot of BLM marches, in the UK especially, where a lot of transphobes were confronting black cis woman and the white women were trying to shout them down about trans people.

I am not even going to get into Rowling’s anti-semantic and her own lazy racism, it’s all there for everyone to see. So again, it’s not ever just ONE bigotry. There was always something else there. A lot of TERF’s, as an example, hate sex workers and surrogacy. One, they don’t want to make it safer for the world’s oldest profession, they just keep having a go at the WOMEN who are sex workers, instead of the people around them. Two, even though, especially in the western world, a lot of women CHOOSE to be surrogates, TERFs hate it.

I’m not giving in to the conspiracy, it just that you cannot be a bigot without being a bigot somewhere else as well. Although transphobic people will SAY that they’re against Johnson, Trump, right wingers Christian fundaments. Show me a transphobe and I WILL show you someone who wants to control other’s bodies. It’s just what they do.

We are in 2021, right?

As the year starts to close, I was wondering, after a completely weird day at work. Receiving all these texts from my Dad, and my mum was telling me how utterly horrid these customers were being.

It had me thinking. Anyone else think that this year in particular that, the sense of entitlement and narcissism from others has just risen, this year in particular?

I know that I am a hopeless positive person, but I really thought with Trump gone, things would turn to normal and be more calm. It’s just not turning out that way.

The UK is becoming more anti-lgbt, racist, xenophobic, the UK’s current Tory Government CONSTANTLY flouts and breaks the rules/laws…and honestly, just blatantly so.

The US is becoming more anti-abortion and anti-women having control over their own bodies, or people in general. And those mostly on the Right and the GOP, absolutely are abusing the Constitution.

And in Australia, well, our Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, keeps running away. Currently our opposition leader Anthony Albanese is in charge. While our PM went on holidays, and the Deputy got caught up in America with COVID. Just before he left, our PM said this, about masks.

Mr Morrison said Australians didn’t need to be told what to do, likening mask-wearing to sun safety.

“In the same way as we go into the summer season, people will be slapping on the hat and slapping on the sunscreen,” he said.

“There’s no rule or requirement to do that, but it is strongly recommended health advice. It’s in the same category.”

Our Prime Minister compared wearing masks, to getting sunburn. You don’t have to be an Australia, too understand that absurdity. Also though, it should be a rule or requirement to wear sunscreen, in Australia. I actually don’t think that’d be such a bad rule, lol. In schools, you have to a hat on during Summer or you can’t go and play.

Trump supporters have turned on Trump, haha. The really funny thing, personally. Trump is not even likely to be saying to people to get vaccinated, to help them. Someone pointed out that he’s doing it because the vaccines, that are like 99% mostly saving people. Were starting to be given out during his Presidency, so NOW he wants to take credit for “saving” people.

If you don’t talk to the people actually involved, why are you speaking for them?

Too me, it seems, if you don’t talk to trans people about trans issues, maybe don’t talk or make decisions about them. If you don’t talk to sex workers, don’t talk or make decisions about them.

I’m looking at you UK!

But this does apply generally.

I will write about a example though of when you should sort of debate with yourself, who you should listen to within these groups too.

Debbie Hayton is a trans woman, or not, depending on whether you are a “TRA” or a TERF or Gender Critical. Debbie is a trans woman though, who frequently (meaning all the time) sides with transphobic people. One thing she has said is “trans people are not marginalised, and I am trans!”. Now the problem with this, is one, Debbie is a late tranisitioner. Which in itself is not a problem, plenty of people transition later in life. But the reason for Hayton transitioning later? As she admitted herself, not because she didn’t know she was trans, but to protect her children from bullies.

Now…

If being trans isn’t marginalised, why do you (commendably) need to protect your children?

Like, if there’s no problem with transitioning … Surely you can just do it whenever you want? You wouldn’t need to worry about protecting your children. Take POC, a lot of POC parents have to talk to their children about how to be when they’re confronted by the police.

That’s just common sense, right?

Hayton is one example, by what I mean when I say, actually LISTEN.

I hate starting off the week with a sort of, not depressing type blog, but just a like “this should just be common sense” type post. I also can’t let this topic go.

There is a MP called Jackie Doyle, I am pretty sure that she’s Scottish. Who voted against Same Sex marriage, who of course is loved by any TERF, Gender Critical or LGB Alliance member. Yet, they make excuses for her voting against same sex marriage, and I quote “She was more in favour of civil partnership, because a few same sex people told her that they didn’t want same sex marriage, because marriage is regressive”

Okay, but that’s not a excuse to vote no still. Same Sex marriage was on the table, not civil partnership…Which since, has been on the table, because you can’t really have one without the other, that would make sense. Not all straight people want marriage these days, so should the rest of straight couples not be able to get married now?

Basically these transphobic people are excusing homophobia, because this MP is also transphobic.

When you consider the majority of first world countries voted YES on same sex marriage, and got it voted through. There’s not really a good enough reason to have voted “no”. Especially if you are actually for same sex partnerships to begin with, or even for civil partnership. If you are for same sex people being together and legally recognised as a couple, why would you vote no?

Why wouldn’t you just vote yes, and then work on civil partnership?

Do you know what I mean?

I got blocked by the person, by the way. Especially when I pointed out why wouldn’t you just vote yes on same sex marriage and then work on civil partnership, which would just naturally come with it. It’s SO simple, I managed to write it all in one tweet, lol

Not a difficult concept.

So I am going to write a list of things, that in my mind make sense. But others seem to have difficulty with this concept. When trans became more legal. That is usually a sign that it’s becoming more socially acceptable as well. Other things that increased when it become legal or more socially acceptable.

  • Gay and Lesbian
  • and by extension LGBTQIA+
  • Left Handers
  • Women voting (I’m sure the numbers of women voting increased).
  • Different religions, well, some of the actual first religions, being “accepted” into Christian societies.
  • When vaccinations came along, and especially when they became safer.

People like Linehan use a simplistic view to promote bigotry, and it’s stupid. It’s complicated. Our biological sex, doesn’t make us the person we are either. I’m not a women or even female JUST because I have the reproduction organs. #TransRightsAreHumanRights

I’m women and female, because of my brain. As Science has shown, our BRAINS play the biggest part in who we are. Even IF there was only two sexes, that STILL doesn’t make the person. Even if there were only two sexes, that means nothing when it comes to who you’re attracted too and how you feel about yourself and your body. The brain makes the person. Our “sexes” is only about reproduction, not sexuality and not personality. If that was the case, there would be no #LGBTQIA people.

Even in the world of animals, it’s not always so set. True, it’s far less. Even with animals though, sexuality and again, the brain, isn’t always simple. It’s a brain. You show me a brain that’s “perfect” and I’ll show you a liar.

Even if there were only two sexes, that means nothing when it comes to who you’re attracted too and how you feel about yourself and your body.

Why not instead ….

I started to think about this when I wrote my previous post “Polio”.

If anti-vaxxers biggest problems are the side effects of a vaccine … Why don’t they lead, the focus into the side effects. If a big concern is their child getting autism (which is really unlikely). Why don’t they take the lead and try to get more funding, get more support for autism, or for any of the side effects of a vaccine. Instead of treating the side effects like a death sentence, actually DO something about if or when it happens.

If people who want to “protect” women’s sports, from trans people “taking over”. Why don’t they have a problem with HOW women’s sports is even run? Also, considering the fact, that there are none if any trans people at the top elite levels. I highly doubt that trans people are taking over women’s sports. So why not focus on how to improve women’s sports. As I have stated before, women’s sports is under funded AND women/girls are already put at a disadvantage before they even get to the elite levels. In Australia, as an example, there are few-to none at all Football leagues for girls over the age of 12. Why is that? Recently one of the Australia’s top women footballers, explained. There was just no Australian Football Leagues or games for teenage girls.

If the only place you get lessons about racism, is from the unpopular Dr Seuss books…Why not go out into the world. There are plenty of examples of it, current and in the past. Why not instead of relying on a child’s books, read a adult book instead. Take yourself to a Museum, a library, maybe even a Art Gallery. There are plenty of examples of racism, from the past about.

2020…The year that common sense, went on a holiday

I’m getting to this point where I feel like I am saying to GROWN ADULTS…This is just common sense, right?…A lot…

I don’t consider myself a highly intelligent person. I have do consider myself to be reasonably sane and thoughtful though.

However, I am constantly stumped by others, especially on social media. As an example, take that Rowling “letter” that…well honestly…I don’t know the point of it. However, I find it ridiculous! It’s not a letter calling for violence on the internet to stop against everyone, it’s all for ONE person. Yet, myself and my friends, both male and females, daily receive threats. Where’s our letter? By the way, by the same people who say you shouldn’t do it towards, Rowling, but you know…Perfectly fine for everyone else. This is literally happening daily to us.

Then there was my post from yesterday/earlier today…I decided to create this picture.

The above picture is of the police officer about two weeks ago. The below picture of “tank man” China, in the 80’s. How is the officer’s actions happening in 2020, when they weren’t even doing it in China, in the 80’s! If that behavior wasn’t acceptable then, why is it now?

I am also starting to find that both Trump supporters and the Rowling cult, use the exact same arguments for their own cause. Yet, they apparently don’t like each other. They all blame other people for taking away things, that are not even being taken away. I literally had a “conversation” today, where the ‘women’ was saying that British women and Afghan/Pakistan women have the SAME reproductive burdens. Who else would use that “argument”. Oh black people in America are treated the same as white people, there are no privilege’s.

Their arguments being that, two completely cultures, suffer the same things…No, we don’t. As an example, a lot of Western women CHOOSE not to have children, where as Afghanistan and Pakistan women, don’t GET that choice. How someone would think we all have the same kind of “burdens” When we so CLEARLY do not.

And NOW apparently Trump cares about Covid19, because, even though I don’t believe it. Just before the election he get’s it? Common sense would dictate that the YEARS of lying from Trump and the GOP. I don’t blame people for nothing believing that he never had it. I don’t believe he had it.

As the year goes on, I swear something happened last year, that made something or “someone” go…Let’s see how crap and crazy we can make the human race. What frustrates me is that if people actually STOP and thought about what they were saying/writing, for more than a second. They’d be able to see it!

Clearly, there are more personal things in the day to day life, but they are the big topics of the “day”.
