Let’s have a bit of a break from the mean and the bad and the toxic real world.
I have so many colouring in books, I tend to get a lot of them for Birthdays and Christmas, and you know what? I am not complaining. They are such a great distractions. Just put the tv on, or some music, or whatever takes your fancy and colour away. I’ve got Lions, Tigers and Bears that are pink, blue and green and gold and purple, and well a bit of everything.
I actually get a little impatient with the mandala type ones. I think because, well, they’re mandalas. They are like, a shape and if you don’t colour them in “right” they can just look like a mess. Once you’ve got a colour, you kind of have to stick with it. For me, that can get a little boring.
The first one that I bought, as an adult. Was a children’s fairy one. I bought it in America, when I used to “live there”. I’d work my butt off in Australia, and then go and stay with my then partner for about 3-6 months. But I could never work in America, so I didn’t. So there were times when I had nothing going on. With the way America, sometimes my partner could work from 8 in the morning until 10 at night. His Walmart closed at 11…or was it 10? Either way, he could do a full on day.
So, over the years. I’ve bought myself some, other’s have given them to me for my birthday and Christmas. Yet, so far, no double ups!
