containing 40 stone sarcophagi, about 1,000 small statues and a necklace charm bearing the hieroglyphic inscription “happy new year”.

They are hoping with this new discovery (as well as others) that it will attract people/tourist to come back to Egypt. Every since the overthrow of former President Hosni Mubarak in 2011. The tourism industry has been affected.

Ancient Cities

Everyone who knows me and have been reading my Blog for a while knows just how much I love anything “ancient”. Although I am very happy with modern medications and we are more aware of how to be healthy. I think it’s just always a fascinating thing when you think about how much of the Earth we’ve discovered and we are still discovering things!

An ancient city has been discovered in the middle of the ocean

Ancient ruins in the middle of the Pacific ocean could be the remenants of a legendary race or dare we say….Atlantis.

Clips from the Science Channel series What on Earth? reveal images of a mysterious location just off the coast of the tiny nation of Micronesia.

The remote island of Pohnpei is home to the archaeological site of Nan Madol, yet very little is known about the area and the ruins that reside there.

I still call Australia home…

32. A city you’ve visited

I guess I would have to talk about Arizona in the United States of America. A few years ago I went there for a few months a time every few months….I would work my butt off in Australia for a few months and then stay in Arizona for a few months.  I was actually dating someone from Arizona and then of course, it just never seemed to work out.

I am grateful for it for a few various reasons. It was the bravest thing I had ever done. Everyone was shocked that I went over there, including myself. I never seemed the type to go over and potentially get stood up in a “foreign” country. Which actually nearly happened, because he went to the area.

Also though it made me brave for so many different reasons. I travelled by myself and I do get airsick. I had to learn to do a lot by myself. Travelling to America taught me how to really cook, rather than just heat things up. Walking around by myself, my partner at the time worked retail at Walmart and it was about 10-15 minute walk. I used to walk around and buy grocery shopping, I learnt a lot to do by myself.

6. The city you live in.

I feel very lucky with the town that I live in. You may sometimes read about one of my pages called Single in a small city? (Please go and have a look) The main theme from that category is that it can sometimes be really tough to date when you live in a small city. You either tend to keep bumping into your ex, or you are definitely friends with people who know them.

However, my city being a small city is part of the reason that I love it as well.

It feels so easy to escape when you want too. You drive from the city (or down town) and in 30 minutes you can be in a totally different place, the country, the river-land, beach towns. Even take my own street, we live a 10 minutes drive from the city (down town) and yet  my street reminds myself and other people have made comments of it reminding them of a little English town street. Even though we live within a walks distance to some of the big entertainment venues in our city, you can’t hear it. It feels cut off from that.

My particular suburb is also in-between three major roads in my city that go into the city, and yet, where I live, you can’t hear the traffic. I honestly just wished that other people lived closer to me because no one else lives in my area but it’s great. We’ve got parks and like I mentioned before we live like a 10 minute drive from the city and just as close to another major shopping centre.

Share Your World – 2016 Week 2

Do you believe in extraterrestrials or life on other planets?

I think that there is definitely other life on other plants, these might only microbes and things, but definitely other “life” out there. As for big alien E.T. things, I think it a definite possibility. We know that there are so many other solar systems and other planets that we are aware of but don’t have the means to visit. What’s to say there isn’t some big alien culture out there in the same position?

How many places have you lived? You can share the number of physical residences and/or the number of cities.

I have probably lived in two, really lived in them. My home is Australia, but I was for a time living on and off in America for about three years. I was in a long distance relationship so I was going back and forth a lot. I don’t think that I could live in another country though, after my experience I love my family and they are amazingly rare!

If you given $22 million tax free dollars (any currency), what is the first thing you would do?

Disneyland! =D In all seriousness I really would BUT I would do other things before then and then go to Disneyland. Definitely pay off my parents and siblings mortgages (or in my brother case get him a place and then pay off the mortgage, so he can stop renting, lol). Set up a house for myself and THEN go to Disneyland … Oh to dream, lol

The Never List: What are things you’ve never done? Or things you know you never will do?

I say “Never say never”! There are things that I definitely can’t see myself doing, but you just never know!

What is your favorite comfort snack food?

Definitely Nacho Cheese Dorito chips! Summer or Winter, they are my favourite!

If you had to spend one weekend alone in a single store but could remove nothing, which store would you pick? (except food or beverage)

Oh wow! I can’t remove anything? Maybe like a toy store then, so I could play with all the things but I wouldn’t really have a place to put them. So I could have play and then leave…Possibly leaving someone else to clean up the mess.

What was the largest city you have been to?  What is the one thing you remember most?

That would have to be between Arizona and Melbourne. They are both completely different but they are both different ways. Melbourne’s is mostly city and buildings (which are beautiful) but Arizona is mainly big due to their landscape.

Finish this sentence:  It has recently come to my attention that …. People these days appear to be a lot more “self-involved” then I remember them being. There is a lot more “I am right, you are wrong, no I will not discuss it”.
