Share Your World … Week 17

When writing by hand do you prefer to use a pencil or pen? 

It honestly depends on what I’m using the writing tool for. If it’s something where I might make a mistake, I try to write it in pencil first and then rewrite over in pen. Most of the time though I am writing in pen.

What’s your choice: jigsaw, word, maze or numeric puzzles?

I love to do word puzzles! I have an app on my phone at the moment, that’s an anagram game. Numeric puzzles are not my “thing” and I don’t mind maze and jigsaw puzzles, I just prefer a word puzzle.

Do you prefer long hair or short hair for yourself? 

I prefer long hair, I’ve had long hair pretty much all of my life. It has been such a love/hate relationships with my hair. I am always getting compliments about my hair, but these days it takes a lot take care of it and it can get knotty really easily at the moment.

List five some of your favorite blogs.

1. Compassion Kindness … I love reading the inspirational quotes every day. They bring a smile to my face. I tend to like every single thing they post.
2. Musings from a Tangled Mind … Just reading all her relatable every day posts, makes me grin.
3. The Orangutan Librarian … Definitely give this one a read! I can’t read them right now because they’ve written a post about Games of Thrones and I haven’t watched it yet.
4. Bookmark Chronicles … Probably one of my favourite bloggers on here, very inspirational and thoughtful…Please check this one out!
5. Upon Raven Wings … Beautifully written posts. Please have a read!

1- I’m more of a “dancer” in the shower, rather than a singer.

In all honestly I wasn’t even aware that some of these classic childhood movies were not Disney movies at all! I didn’t even have to play the YouTube videos to remember some of these films.

Blogging…What’s it all about?

I was linked to a Blog a little while ago and it’s stuck with me for a while, mainly because it started out as a good acknowledgement, but then my Blog was called “Simple and…Stupid”…I don’t think that it was meant with harm or harshness. The word “stupid” though obviously stuck with me and I didn’t know whether or not to say “Thank you”.

It’s stayed with me and ever since then it’s been bothering me and I have been trying to “improve” my Blog ever since. With anything that makes you feel like you need to change when you didn’t think there was a problem before, I couldn’t come up with anything mind blowing or life changing. I have my moments with those things, but I can never force myself to think that well 24/7.

SO I’ve been getting upset, but then I started to think. I don’t need my Blog to be complicated and thought-provoking ALL the time. I don’t mind my Blog seeming “simple” to people. Life is full of enough complications and as much as I want my Blog to feel good to others and uplift people, it doesn’t always have to be the most “complicated” Blog to achieve this. I have a personal journal where I write a lot of my thoughts, come up with sayings and express a dark part of myself.

If you want a Blog with simple thoughts by a girl whose’s just going through life as we all do at our own pace, this is the one for you. I have my complicated thoughts, but I don’t think that’s what I’m here for, others may be, but I am not and I am okay with this. There are plenty of Blogs within WordPress with amazing writers, but never forget the little tiny bits that make up a day either. I think this Blogging site IS like a Library, full of different topics, experiences and types of writers that appeal to different people of different backgrounds.

Just one piece of advice, write your blog for YOU…You wont last with blogging if you are trying to be the next “big thing”. I consider myself to be an “expert”, if you will, with simple things, because I don’t understand making things more complicated than they are. I guess this has been reflecting in my Blog and I am alright with that. Oh! Don’t call another Blog stupid either, no matter the circumstances.

Changes are coming!

This is definitely feeling to be the year where I think for certain things are definitely going to happen. I already feel fussy and I know that if I don’t get to doing something soon the motivation will disappear, but the problem is…Where to start?

I already have ideas for doing some cosplays this year, but I don’t sow so I don’t even know if it’s “wrong” to get someone else to make an outfit for me. I know what I wish to do, but we’ll see if it happens. Cosplaying is not cheap at all!

There is also some motivation for this blog and maybe writing up some reviews. Now I have never done a professional type of review before, I have always just written my personal opinion, so will have to do some research into that. I have actually thought about starting to write a novel of some kind, but I really feel like you have to have a calling for that. I’m not sure what I’d write about or where to even start!

I don’t really have anything to complain about this year. Sure it’s not all been amazing and I was disappointed a lot, but most of it has been…“The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice-versa, the bad things don’t necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant” That’s my theme for this year.

I got rid of a lot of toxic things, people and the way I think. I have had so much fun and when the good things have happened, they have been uh-mazing! I have great family, amazing friends and I am particularly proud of myself too, I have accomplished a lot personally =D

Thank you so much for those who have been SO amazing this year and my birthday…I don’t know how I am going to live up to it next year!lol…I take my hat off to my awesome life and every single person who has made it so =D

Celebration!!!

I have hit my 200th Blog! I am so excited and incredibly grateful for that…Whenever I have ever started some type of journal or diary before, I lasted for maybe a month at the most…So this really feels like an incredible achievement and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the readers. You have help motivated me to keep Blogging and to constantly change the way I Blog to achieve even more readers.
