I think that the biggest thing is too remember Pride is more than a party. It’s a movement, its a way of life. Its a being.

Its in the heart of every LGBTQIA person living on the planet. Us straight ones, should be standing back and admiring as they wave us on by.

As some of us were taught, if you can’t say anything nice, say nothing at all. It’s sad that we’re in 2022 and yet it feels like we’re going back to 1922.

Just be in the moment. We only get this one life (unless you are a Time Lord). There’s enough room for others to shine. Believe me when I say when you’re kind, you know there’s enough shine for all.

I don’t know if I’ve told you all this before, but when I ended up in hospital after my having a massive anxiety attack. For myself, I put it down too the “real stuff” that set my brain off. The “new age” stuff helped my brain calm down again.

I couldn’t get through my anxiety without either. The “real” or the “new age” ‘stuff’.

So when I hear my own father say that the new age stuff failed me, you don’t know me. You wouldn’t say too me if you knew what I’ve been through.

Why I find some other people weird

I was thinking about how some people out there, mainly your Conservative Christians or Conservative Religious people. How one of their complaints about trans people is that “God didn’t make a mistake, so stop trying to change your sex”. Now as we all know trans gender people know they can’t actually change sex. (Although with Science this is not actually that far off).

Whose saying though that God made a “mistake”? Apparently God doesn’t make mistakes? And who are they to question whether or not God made a mistake?

The same people who say to others to stop changing their bodies, because God doesn’t make mistakes. Are also the same people who:

  • Want surgeries done on intersex infants
  • Bleach their hair, change their hair
  • Straighten their teeth
  • By glasses and contact lenses
  • Don’t stop (and sometimes get some themselves) people from cosmetic surgeries.
  • They use make up.
  • Fight against people getting abortions.

Does not automatically equal that person being a good person. So be wary.

Mish here, is one of the gay people that thinks that gay people shouldn’t get married, because he doesn’t want to get married…yeah…one of THOSE. He is also transphobic.

I wish sometimes that when someone tries or makes one or a step towards a better world, people could just be grateful (*insert long sigh here*)…Just because someone doesn’t do all or find a total solution, right away. This doesn’t mean it makes it okay to degrade what they have done. Too make people aware is a good first step.

Do they have a “total solution”? No.

Are they now aware of the issue? Yes
